A one-stop shop for mostly all your needs. Polite & family owned business which is refreshing. A wide array of liquor from cheap to most expensive-which is uncommon at a Liquor Market. Lottery available. Deli, fresh made pasta salads, fresh sweet singleton fruit servings and common fresh staple veggies. Bi Rite is also a store with packaged foods, toiletries, and smokes. Prices are considered reasonable for the convenience instead of traveling to a grocery store.

Not a big fan. During the pandemic their workers never wore their masks and didnt seem to care when customers walked in. And they do a bait and switch on stuff. Its marked one price and its higher at the register. When you call them on it, they still make you pay the higher amount. And watch the expiration dates! Ive opened milk only to realize its past the date..by many days. I wont shop there anymore.

Family owned & operated, this liquor store is a favorite having a great selection of merchandise. Fresh meat, produce, candles, bandaids resembling a general store. So guys, ie. Nicholas...look out & remember you never know who is watching, taking photos, reviewing your business.

Im pleased that this grocery store was full and had all the items I wanted. They had excellent service and quality goods. The room was clean and tidy. The workers were all nice to make you feel relaxed. A fine work!

Just got the Beef Kebab and saffron rice and also a Mediterranean Salad. The Lady behind the Deli counter offered to heat up the food, which was nice. And they take EBT. Thats pretty sweet. Thanks. 10/10 would do again.

Best local market, has all that you need in a cute place. Fresh produce, deli ready made food, made to order sandwiches, toiletries, alcohol, ice cream. Family run it and everyone is very nice and helpful!!

Great prices on wine and good deli food

The Jewel of Bankers Hill is an appropriate name for this wonderful corner store. Conveniently located, this place has an amazing beer, wine and liquor selection, as well as most flavors of Arizona ice tea.

Used to frequent & liked it before I live nearby & would love to return.But the rude older man with black hair and mustache is just awful. Constantly saying discriminatory things. I just cant support that. So I walk across the street to the store nextdoor.

A customer at the counter was not wearing a mask. The man behind the counter had a mask but it was down by his neck as he carried on an extended conversation with the mask less customer.Ive been a regular customer going there several times a week. Sadly Im done as they appear to put profit before safety. No desire to protect customers. The man without a mask should not have been allowed in the store.

I am not the type of person to right a review. But after seeing their review rating on google I had to post something. Ive been coming to this family owned liquor store for a couple of years, everyone single person in that building cares about who you are and what you are buying. Every single time I suggest a product they bring it in. They know me and almost every single person I bring in by name or by a nickname. They are friendly, accommodating and open to suggestions when it comes to product in their store. I wish that everyone gave them a 5* because they deserve it.

I dont live near enough to frequent this shop anymore and that sucks. When I lived in Bankers Hill this was my favorite local market. Had a bit of produce, always had the right canned goods in stock to get a good chili going. Pretty expansive selection of wine and beer, and an even better selection of liquor. Plus, if they dont have something you want, if youre a neighborhood local, theyll absolutely get it stocked for you. I feel like these guys really appreciate their customers. Oh, and dont forget to check out the deli. Delicious and pretty damned cheap.

They have a great selection as well as I would give the deli and fresh produce five stars. The service on another note is a little shabby to say the least. But getting back to it they will have anything you need in an emergency cooking situation.

Good for emergency type items. Ice. Soda. Smokes. But way to high on all other products. 1 onion is at 60 cents. Plus the attitudes of the employees are unreal. Guess they think youre going to rip them off or something. Not even American..

Love this place! Its been here forever. Owners and staff always friendly, store is always clean and tidy, and if you dont see something you regularly buy, they will often start stocking it for you (if you are a regular customer.) Parking is easy, really convenient location.

The owner is super polite! He didnt have the brand of gin that I like so he ordered and the following week he had it there ! Good place for quick shopping prices are not too bad either.

Called ahead for a certain item which they said they have. When I arrived the cashier asked some random dude if he took my call and if they had the item to which he said “yes I took the call, nope we don’t have that...” plus the place is a dump... surprised that San Diego doesn’t have any larger stocked liquor stores.

Bigger selection and cheaper than the other market across the street. They’re really nice and always make sure they get specific items we’ve requested. They have a little deli and have different deli/side dish items that’re made from scratch (got individual thanksgiving dinner plates from here this year & it was so good!)plus a pretty well rounded food and household market and large liquor selection. It’s def more than you avg convenience store, closer to a local grocer. It’s super convenient, longer hrs and great if you forgot or are missing just one item or if you wanna stock up for a few days...it’s a comprehensive little store so you can usually find what you need, or request it for next time. I def would save money doing weekly trip to Trader Joe’s but I don’t have a car so the convenience of this place and the fact I can ask them to stock specific items and they do, and that I can do smaller more frequent shopping trips means I end up doing a majority of my shopping here(of the stuff I don’t get from the less frequent shopping I do on amazon, at grocery outlet or farmer mkt), plus I am happy to pay more and support a family-owned, local business rather than a corporate grocery store.

WARNING, HIGH ALERTBe aware these guys overcharge people intentionally. Always always ask for a receipt. They also charge most customers a .50 cent card fee without letting them know. I spend more than $30 and still got charged a 50 cent card fee. Also their food is old and the fridge is not cold enough. I got food poisoning from the food their. The chicken legs were so old or the fridge wasnt probably working that the chicken smelled so bad I almost vomit. I dont know why theyre using Food 4 Less bags. Is it because they get them free? Very unprofessional.
