I recently ordered three bottles of rum from Chips, and Im very pleased with the result. I live on the east coast and had them shipped. I called ahead to make sure everything was in stock and the man who spoke with me was very helpful and cordial. Ordering from their website was easy and their selection (especially of rum) is phenomenal. The bottles arrived in a timely manner and were very safely packaged.If you have any questions or concerns about an order, you should call them! Many online liquor shops dont have a phone number, forcing you to communicate with customer service reps via email. One warning: if you live on the east coast, dont expect lightning-fast shipping. Mine took a little over a week to arrive, and thats perfectly reasonable. Theyre a local spirits shop, not Amazon.Highly recommended. Thanks, Chips Liquors!

Absolutely terrible customer service with no help. Ordered two bottles and called multiple times on a status and no response. Did not receive product or nor do they care to check into it. Told me to follow up on a certain day which I did, and still no call back or update as to what happened with the order. Stay away if you need things on time or if at all apparently!

Made an online order. Only three of the bottles shows up. Will dispute with PayPal so unless the company answers the phone or gets back to me, I guess I got three free bottles. I ordered a wine that is difficult to find. About a week later I checked with the store. They answered my email promptly, and told me they were waiting for a shipment. Sure enough I received my order three days later. I will order again from them.

Neither employee was wearing a mask when I went in, one of them close quarters in the beer cave. When I asked he said he didn’t have one with him and was very standoffish. Of course they had a sign outside that said must have mask to enter, apparently the rule doesn’t apply to them.

Coolest liquor in California. Hard to come up a better name

I am of legal age, and a former cigarette smoker. A couple days ago I purchased 4 COUNTERFEIT puff bars from this liquor store. I thought the look and flavor of the actual e-cig was off, so I decided to check the verification codes of all the others that I bought, and NONE of them checked out on the official Puff Bar website. Im sure Chips sells great liquor, but consider steering clear of their vape, e-cigarette, and nicotine products... who knows what other shady fakes they have back there.

Ordered from here from the east coast and glad I did! My shipment was sent quick and the way they packaged it was amazing! Next time im out there I will definitely stop by.

Ordered 4 bottles that sold out in all locations within a day (so I cant get them anymore). Didnt receive after a week so I checked the tracking info. Apparently the bottles were held by fedex at one of their locations, but no one reached out to let me know. When I asked them what was going on, apparently fedex suspended their account (shady practices?). Instead of offering another shipment method, they canceled my order without warning and would not respond to any subsequent emails to them.

Chips liquor may be a little more than 7/11 or your local grocery store, but you wont find better service! Its family owned and operated with the grandfather, son, and grandson. They bring humanity back into retail. The beer dungeon has just about every craft beer possible. At least 45 DIFFERENT kinds!! Your standard 18 pack comes out to about $19 but again it is worth it for the time and quality care for you. They treat you like part of the family when you become a regular. Spend the extra $2 for the lifetime of friendship and memories youll get. Thank you guys for the wonderful service!!

While this place is surely more expensive than vons or ralphs or similar grocery stores it is far superior in quality of beer offered. I always go here now to get craft beer since they offer more than IPAs, although they do have plenty of those too. They offer stouts and porters year round which is quite rare for San Diego in general. They have a rounded mix of local San Diego brews and other beers from all over USA, with a small European beer section. This is not really the place to buy cheap light beer.

Good people, and an amazing selection of craft beers and whiskey, not to mention perfect location.
