Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. I was just getting into the hobby and they were happy to help point me in the right direction about tools and detailing. Definitely coming back for more Gunpla soon!

This is a really neat shop that has a wall of gunpla and all the tools you need to construct and decorate it. There was also a cute selection of shirts that I really liked, also there were various blind boxes I was super in to. The staff was very helpful and friendly, taking time to explain the differing grades for each gunpla kit. Knowing they are here I am going to keep them in mind for my next gunpla purchase.

Although I didnt shop here, I did look inside and was greeted by an employee soon after i entered. A lot of gundam figures, demon slayer merch, and overall anime themed merchandise. They had figurines as well as collectable toys and keychains. The store was clean and nice to browse!

Great little shop with neat toys, clothing and models. Ive been to old Town many times and never noticed this place just a few meters from the main drag.

Wow! This place if fantastic! Everything Gundam. And they about every other japanese series that has ever been made. Yamato, Crusher Joe and Captain Harlock! I just went there once and will definitely go back.

Cute stickers and some cool knick nacks but its a little pricy and a cool thing is they have models tho!

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Huge selection of japanese model kits and gunpla! They have a great website too that you can use to check their stock. This is by far the best place in the area for this type of thing. Also their prices are great! There isnt a huge markup, pretty much selling for their MSRP (I went to another japanese hobby store recently had spent 20 bucks more than I should have)

I have no idea what Gundams are but if you want them this is the place to get them.

Awesome little shop in old town. The parking can become difficult but its worth a trip. They have an very eclectic collection of japanese merch. Right now it is half and half plush and gundum models. They also have the magic ape ninja vinyl paints that are superb for model kits. You will have to ask to see them as they have them behind the counter. If you are interested in other japanese oddities see of the owner can track it down for you.

Was my first time there, and all I can say over and over how much I loved it. The store has a nice selection of Gundams. And other super cute stuff. The service was amazing and friendly. This is now my to go Gundam store!

Absolute gem of a shop if you’re into gunpla. Ranging from SD to MG with some PG and RG, this shop has you covered on anything you’ll need to start building. Including supplies such as nippers, brushes and sanding paper. Very happy with my MG lunamaria Zaku purchase😄

The shop was amazing. So much kawaii items in the shop! A bit pricey, but worth it! If you find yourself in Old Town, DEFINITELY spend at least ten minutes or so in the shop.

Really cute store with a lot of wonderful plushies! Lot of Japanese brands that are difficult to find elsewhere. In addition to plushies they have squishies, blind boxes, and a few other things. If you like plushies this is the place to go!

Quite an amazing toy store to go through. There are multiple levels of toys, each designated to a certain age group or types of toys. Most floors have a demonstration of specific toys or an area where you can play with some toys. I was quite intrigued by the remote control car which drove up walls.

Wow!! What an amazing place. The woman at the counter was so helpful. She even told my daughter that if she didnt get the prize box she wanted she could exchange it at the exchange counter. We will definitely be back and I am so happy we wandered from the main section of old town over here.

Totally unexpected to have a Japanese toy store in old town but seeing those cute characters just brings a smile to faces. This store also operates a luggage storage service (or more accurately, luggage storage services Vertoe and BagBNB partner with this store). We used BagBNB and the whole process was secure and quick with this store.

Go with a child that is happy to look, place and explore, enjoy the freedom to use your imagination, use the lego, watch the bubble blowers. Do not go in a rush, with a tired, cross, child, this place is crowded, look at the number of reviews. Decide why you are going and explain this to your child, if it is for one toy, then find the one toy, if it is to look, go and look.

This independent toy store has a great selection and reasonable prices for bringing home a surprise for the kids. The helpful staff were there and prompt to answer questions and find a few items for us.

This place is a gem. I came here looking for Kendamas and they had a big selection of Sweets, and various Japanese models. They also offer little collectible toys that looked quite nice. The staff here is awesome and friendly. Im definitely coming back here next time Im in SD.

Gunzos is a cute little shop located in the Old Town area. They carry a lot of cute animal plushies, tokidoki merchandise, blind box figurines, and even some Gundamn model kits. If your in the area be sure to check it out.

This is very overpriced! Slime is so much money for a small quantity. The plushies are very cute but are too expensive. Many things can be made at home. I recommend DIYs and such on YouTube instead.

Just wish there was a bit more variety in what they had to sell, but everything was really cute!

Variety of stuff animals, cute little pins, and the lady at the register was very friendly. Although most of the things are expensive, they are high quality and worth buying.

The only vinyl collectable place in San Diego worth going to. I love seeing all of the rare figures for sale!

Great place to find off the wall toy and gifts

If you are looking for a kendama then this is the place to go to! They carry so many popular brands like kendama usa, sweet kendama, krom, etc. They even have display models that you can shred including the TJ Kolesnick kendama usa pro model!Im from Texas and was searching for a shop during my long trip through the west coast and Im glad I came across this. Highly recommend

There are so many kawaii plushies! Definitely the place to go to for Tokidoki, Sanrio, Gudetama~ And they have squishies too, and slime! The staff is also very nice ❤ They also have a huge selection of yo-yos and kendama and even a club for both every Saturday. If youre visiting Old Town, its a must!
