Best buy advertises for products that they dont actually carry. Ive been waiting for a Samsung phone with upgraded memory for 3 months now, and they have not even bothered to let me know what the status of the order is. When I walked into the San Carlos store the other day it took them 20 minutes to acknowledge me at the phone sales booth. I guess this must be one of those places that cant hire due to covid or something.

Did you know these guys are Sodastream retailers? Neither did I. Popped in here to exchange some canisters and ended up picking up a few things for my kids. Small selection of toys/Legos. Electronic retail isnt what it used to be but you can get quality stuff here. LG OLEDs and soundbars with the latest Dolby features. Samsung soundbars with Dolby Atmos. Junk food at the impulse buy locations. Staff very helpful when approached.

Great best buy. Actually probably the best one Ive ever been to. Im sure there are better ones around the mid peninsula but for some reason this one is worth the visit, the location makes it great for selection but also slightly off the beaten path. Not as busy as other ones.

I love going to Best Buy, if only for the tangible ability to have the actual product in front of you.I give it a high rating because for me, it is like going to a museum and looking at the ever evolving state of the art technology.As many businesses are folding and resorting to on-line sales for business.Well be sorry to ever say goodbye,It is a great place to go with the family, get inspired or to get a cool new toy to enjoy.

The place is busy and mask is needed. We got help from Ka Man Chan. Hes super informative and patient in regards to the questions we had and answered them very clearly. Really recomend him if you need any helps.The store will do a price match if you find it somewhere else cheaper.

I had my 1995 Ford Explorer stereo installed here and the technician his name is junior did a fantastic job. He recommended everything that I needed. When he was finished with the installation he walked me through all of the functions. So thanks you junior for doing a great job. Best Buy I have to give them three thumbs up. 👍👍👍

Dang!!.. this place went down the tubes!!! Its like a ghost town: empty shelves, untrained staff, they got them all ( bads!).Walked in and asked the front door guy where was a specific item, he pointed out to a totally wrong area. Asked another guy after that, again directed to a totally wrong area. Found one of what was supposed to be 10 different kinds and almost.. the last one.Dont think theyll last much longer with their business...Pro: the check out guy was very cool!But.. theres no Spring with just one flower!

If you want to pick up the items in person, this place does the trick. Needed an inexpensive laptop and was able to find something that fit my needs. Overall though selection was limited, and staffing wasnt present to help find the item I wanted. If I didnt want it today, I would have been better off ordering something online.

The pickup process was really straightforward. I input my car parking spot into the website and an employee brought me my order within minutes. Very efficient and friendly service.

I didn’t require a lot of help from staff, but the the cashier looked up a product for me and verified features which was very helpful. Plenty of parking amd always love the charging stations in the parking lot.

Easy return of a bluetooth speaker which I purchased at the Rancho Mirage store. I wanted to upgrade to Bose (easy online purchase from bestbuy.com)

The employees at Best Buy were very knowledgable and friendly. They took the time To explain to me about the products I was interested in. I feel like they Had my best Interest in mind, Very ethical and dedicated to their job. Half of the staff is not wearing a mask. It definitely made me uncomfortable. Especially when most businesses are still requesting staff continue to wear masks indoors to give costumers peace of mind.

Store experience is decent but buyer beware do not purchase anything online. Their customer service is abismol and 90% of their calls get transfered to out of country call centers that never have the right tools to help you.

Im old fashioned ... Grew up with the Good Guys and Circuit City ...and like to buy things from a store. Best Buy is one of those stores I can spend hours in... Its pretty obvious the internet has taken over...in store stock is low and the reps are not very helpful... That being said Best Buy is the only electrics store that is still around and I can still spend hours there

I always find what I need at Best Buy. It sometimes takes a while though. Its a good sized store.

Trash place to buy anything warehouse breaks stuff and the protection plans are a scam

Store doesnt answer phone - best buy routes all calls to call center. Took me 10 minutes to get a human, then after 15 mins the call got cut on their end (I was on wifi). If you want to outcompete amzn on electronics, this wont cut it.

Curbside pick up here is awesome, bought a huge TV online and an hour later they loaded it into my truck, I stepped out of the car for 5 minutes total!

This has to be one of the worst Best Buys around. I go there cause it is the nearest to my house and never have a felt I was welcomed or cared for. I always get profiled at Magnolia no matter how much I tell them I need a high-end TV. The merchandise is over-stuffed throughout the entire store. And when I do manage to get some help from some representative, I end up telling them about whats great about a particular model. I guess this is why you check out the product at Best Buy and then buy online.

Good covid policies, though selection in store not as big as online, theres staff to help you find stuff, fairly empty (in the morning when I went) though parking strangely full. Must be people at other stores nearby? Not a bad experience overall, raised my 3 star to 4.

I am annoyed with the store I bought a photographic lens they gave me a day and hour of delivery, but I arrived at the store and the employee only answered that my product had not arrived yet, I asked him to give me a day and hour to pick up what I bought and He in a very curt way told me - come back another day maybe tomorrow! my annoyance is: 1. they do not deliver things on time and 2. why they are not friendly and do not give an exact date of when things will be delivered! Im wasting my time 😤🤷

The staff in the computer (desktop, laptop, tablets) department is phenomenal: knowledgeable, patient, and helpful to my decision making. Yesterday I threw a curve ball to Samuel about cameras, as I process dense raw files on my desktop, and he was equally knowledgeable. Later I called to refine a tablet purchase, and the gentleman I spoke to helped me solidify my choices. Earlier this spring I purchased 2 tablets and 2 styluses. They were also efficient and knowledgeable then too. Really a fantastic place with exceptional staff!

The guy in the camera department was knowledgeable and helpful with great customer service...yet the guy in the PC department couldnt even say if he could help me in finding out apple the macs.

This Best Buy has been here for years and the customer service has always been inconsistent. This time around isnt any different. Theres only one employee per work area and if theyre busy, good luck trying to find someone else who isnt on the floor talking to an employee and not doing their job.

Attempted to get a new phone three times, made three visits for this. All times, staff were unhelpful, they had no intention of helping and they all approached every situation with a negative point of view.I dont know why I even bothered trying to go to best buy when I could have ordered it from amazon and had better customer support.

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BEST BUY AGAIN! My delivery order was cancelled on me twice without notice. People pick specific delivery dates for a reason and are expected to be fulfilled. I’m 9 months pregnant and at this point my baby will be here before Best Best delivers my order. Extremely disappointing service all around with getting a scheduled delivery and customer service to get answers.

Had to replace an android game controller. Old and sticking, Bought one that was delivered to my car, which I thought was convenient except the controller was a refurbished product and does the same thing the old one does. Not happy

A good Best Buy as most of the others. A LOT of products in a huge store, with great prices. The people working there need to be called to help you, but their help is really good. They were not pushy to make you buy products, at least with me. Once I decided what I wanted to buy, they got me the product and the payment was smooth. The refund policy is great, if you didnt like the product you can get it no questions asked.

Went for a printer and found out that out of the 50 plus printers they had on display they only had 7 on hand and from the 4 i was actually in the market for 2 were discontinued and not for sale...so needless to say I left and ended up getting my printer at Target instead.

I know everyone love best buy but the last time I visited I was walking around the kitchen appliances section with my kiddos and there were like 4 employees talking and gossiping and I was looking for it as crazy like I was sure they would have the ninja xl air fryer cuz I was so excited to buy it ....but since no one came to me and asked if I need anything to check if they do , and I felt uncomfortable to interrupt their conversation lol I just walk out with no success so this is why I am giving 4✨

I was there today and I think they just reopened. I was very impressed, there was someone at the door asking about symptoms and making sure customers were wearing a mask. I was also asked if I needed help with what I was looking for, which I did, and a sales associate came to the door right away and took me to the things I was looking for to help me, which was very helpful. If I had any suggestion, it might be to have the person at the door do temperature checks also, but overall my experience there today was excellent.

Geek squad assistance was very helpful. Restarted my entire system and comp was repaired the next day. No complaints besides that I had to stand in line for 20 min (kine when youre waiting)..

I went looking for the brand new Animal Crossing Switch console and sadly they no longer had any to sell. The staff were very communicative and helpful making sure I knew what they had in stock and what they didn’t have. Even though I was sad about not finding the switch I wanted I left happy knowing that staff helped me and were attentive to what I was asking about. Always a great experience with staff at this Best Buy location. Definitely prefer it more than other Bay Area Best Buy locations!

Good selection of electronic appliances, found basic machines for daily life and entertainment systems as well. There were also many items on discount or on sale which very much piqued my interest in said items. For example, the gaining isles were filled with new and slightly older games, and the older games were rightfully discounted to mostly 1/3 its original price. A stellar deal if I say so myself. Overall, cool place.
