Space Tone Music. Wow, what can I say... Its got retro 🎸, some modern looking 🎸, lots of accessories for your 🎸 with lower prices than the local chains. Probably got lots of other stuff I didnt even see cause I ran out of time. The store staff were relaxed, cool, and knowledgeable, pleasant place to visit all around.

Amazing shop, Ive never seen so many vintage instruments ranging from cheap and cheerful to seriously rare desirable guitars. I dropped just a few $100 for this lovely gibson lap steel from the 50s, but there was so much more I could have gone home with!

Very organized and clean music shop. You have freedom to play with access to knowledgeable people on standby. They have a wide range of prices from a thats not bad price to Let me put this back on the wall guitars. A very well and neat hidden gem that i recommend visiting. Their hours are currently Monday to Saturday from 11am to 6pm. They are currently some of the few techs you can find in SA that will help repair guitars. Shop local, shop Spacetones!

Its so quaint you could miss it but youll be kicking yourself all the way home. These guys know their stuff and their musical chops aint bad either. Pop in. Ask to test an axe or two.

Great staff, fair prices and lots of gear to choose from.I went to the shop multiples of times to make my decision on some pedals and nothing but friendly greetings every time.I tried going to the big box stores before but all they have is rude employees that dont want you there to buy.I am big on supporting local shops. This is definitely my go to shop for everything from now on.

Ive been playing guitar for about 17 years now and love geeking out over vintage gear. This place is amazing. They have a beautiful selection of vintage guitars to gawk at a floor full of vintage amps to play them on. Bought a 1978 Fender Deluxe Reverb on my first visit

Awesome guitar store in Alamo Heights! Definitely the best vintage guitar store in San Antonio. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I had my Telecaster serviced by Steve Owens who did an amazing job with my new pickup install, setup, trus rod adjustment, and fret and fingerboard polishing. My guitar is amazing now. So pleased with SpaceTone and Steve.

This is one of the coolest guitar shops in San Antonio. The owner is always there and they will work with you trying to get you the guitar you want. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and they love to talk shop. They now have a very extensive acoustic selection including some nice vintage pieces. They have every electric guitar you could ever dream about. If youre a Les Paul guy this is your dream store

Its a great shop, with some really nice gear. Jason helped me out with a trade and treated me fairly. Anytime you work a trade with a shop you gotta expect that the deal is going to favor the shop, and for them to stay in business its got to be that way. Selection of gear is awesome, lots of cool vintage stuff that you never knew existed but also plentyyy of strats, teles, les pauls, etc. Amp collection is also wonderful. Vibes are great all around, and the staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgable, but they also give you your space [which is so greatly appreciated :)]

Lots of used stock. Prices are a bit high but I assume negotiable? Good source of vintage gear. I did not look at their new gear very closely for selection. They have come a long way since my last visit. Worth a stop if you play guitar or bass. My preference over corporate stores. I miss our regional chain that sold out to GC though.

This place is super cool with their assortment of vintage and oddball gear. Strats, Teles, SGs, Les Pauls, Rickenbackers, single necks, double-necks, acoustic instruments, and all the accessories you could want. Also, there are some very interesting display models -- e.g, two guitars with the tuning pegs all on one side of the headstock at a 90 degree angle to the nut.

If you live vintage guitars,this is your place. Good selection of pedals and stomps boxes also..one dude has a real dry sense of humor that could be offensive if your at all sensitive...just sayn
