Its a unique place where you can buy music like vinyl records and all kinds of collections. I took my grandson and he thought it was awesome. He was amazed of how everything was displayed. We had an amazing time just browsing and shopping.

I have been visiting guitar shops my entire life. My father and I both play. I have never been to a shop as cool as Robot Monster. It is my #1 go to shop. Awesome gear, great environment, and cool staff. I highly recommend.

They have a really cool selection of guitars, basses, amps, and other interesting items -- looks almost more like a museum than a store. Sales staff are bit too stand-offish. Prices are a bit high here as well. Even if you dont end up buying anything, like me, its worth the visit just to see the place. For decent secondhand instruments & equipment at a better price, I go to Music Go Round on Blanco Rd.

Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Found out about this place back in 2015 while I was at another music store. After the poor quality service at Guitar Center, I decided to give them a try. I wasnt disappointed. They offer guitar repairs at a lower price than the other shops. I had the pickups changed in my Dean guitar for $45 for both. I went back last year to have a route done on another guitar to accommodate a left-handed Floyd Rose. I was only charged $85 for the route and setup.This store also has great memorabilia and an interesting music collection. I will always come here.

I had a good very good experience with one of the owners of Robot guitars, Joe. He rectified the situation that had stuck in my craw about a repair gone wrong. I was very appreciative of his effort that he had put into making things right. And his great idea turned into reality for a guitar show annually in San Antonio.

Theyll take a look at your guitar if theres a problem, they help repair amps and instruments, and most importantly not overcharge you like corporate music shops! I buy all my gear here, and without a doubt buy even more for years to come!

Decent selection and price ranges. No extended layaway. Techs sometimes back logged..i have purchased from here and been mostly satisfied. If payment options were a bit more flexible i would purchase more often. They try to move merch quickly. Check it out!

Love visiting this store when im on this side of town, interesting finds, good condition vintage items, you can even request certain finds and they will contact you if they come across it! Lots of musical instruments, and even some taxidermy. Fun place to find some interesting oddities

Bought a used bass guitar head for really cheap during a big sale they had. Still works perfect. I bring friends to the shop sometimes just to show them the unique items. They have an experienced amplifier mechanic thats taken care of some of my more vintage equipment. Also a good experience.

What an awesome little shop. Very hidden gem. My husband went in today to hey some strings changed on his guitar. And I of course shopped around. Just walking into this shop makes you feel like a kid again.

Genuinely the coolest mom & pop shop Ive ever visited. Youll walk around the store 20 times and still feel like you missed something. Customer service was incredible. If you need something fixed, skip out on Guitar Center and take it to someone who genuinely knows what theyre doing and does it for the love of doing it. 10/10.

It was a hoot! They rescued a giant old dog while I was there and restored my faith in a select group of humanity. It was amazing!

My 13 year old son recently stopped by Monster and was so happy he did. He was surprised how friendly and helpful the are. He normally would go to the two big music store chains and was used to being ignored. Over the summer he had saved up for an Ibanez RG and the big music store employees were more interesting talking with each other than answering any questions. Thanks.
