My father and I were searching for a car forever before I moved to Austin this September. All of the dealers around Austin were charging extra fees and weren’t very pleasant to work with. Jason, our salesman at Red McCombs Toyota, was the BEST! He helped us every step of the way to make sure that we got the best car for the best price. He even picked my mom and I up at the airport!!! Jason made sure the car was completely detailed and stayed with us for an hour to go over every feature on the vehicle. The experience was seamless and easy! As a family, we really appreciated everything that Jason did for us!

Ali, the manager, and the finance were all really great with us here. We wanted new but we couldnt find anything. All the dealerships were basically blowing us off or being incompetent. This place took good care of us. We got a used 17 Corolla iM with 37,xxx miles. Certified and still smells new. Got a great warranty and at the price we wanted! Thanks!

Absolute worst experience of my life. I will never do business with these people ever again, and will highly recommend all of San Antonio to do their business elsewhere.James Quarles oversaw the fiasco. A standard oil change turns into a nightmare. They messed up my windshield wash fluid sensor, so now a light comes on my car every time I turn it on. I came in Saturday for them to fix the sensor, but after an hour they tell me to come in Monday morning. I take off work Monday and sit for 2-hours all for James to tell me to go pay Lexus to fix it. I asked him for Toyota to pay Lexus since they messed it up, but he said no.Thank you Red McCombs Toyota for wasting 5hrs of my time and costing me a bunch of money on account of your incompetence. You should at least have the integrity to make it right, and honestly should pay me for all this wasted time.0/5 Stars.

Couldnt be happier with my experience. I flew in to buy a used vehicle and was on the road home in a few hours. They didnt pressure me with extra fluff. The price of the vehicle was better than anywhere I could find within half the Western Continent. The out of state registration took much longer than expected but they keep me with a fresh supply of temp tags until the backlog of registrations in my state caught up to me. Customer service from the front desk on up was exceptional.

I would not recommend this business at all - the customer service here is terrible. We bought our car here in 2019. The first agent we dealt with was very aggressive in trying to sell us a car; however, we knew what we wanted, and were happy with the second agent we worked with. We took our car here for regular servicing, which used to be a breeze, unless there was some additional work that was needed, and then there used to be numerous rounds of phone calls and visits before the work was done. The last time I took my car here for scheduled maintenance, I had received a few coupons in the mail from Red McCombs for alignment and balancing, which I understood to be complimentary services with the coupon; I told the agent as much when handing over my car for the service, and the agent did not inform me that these werent complimentary services. When picking up my car, I was told I needed to pay for the services. I spoke to the agent, and he lies to me on my face, and tells me he informed me that I had to pay. I asked to speak to the manager for clarification on the coupons I had. The manager, Melissa Bellamy, comes out aggressive, and without offering any clarifications on the coupons that I was asking for, the first thing she says to me is if I wanted my car back, I had to pay - as if I had refused to pay at any point of time. If that is how they treat their regular customers, I would gladly take my business elsewhere. I strongly recommend against using Red McCombs if you would like to be treated with some respect as a customer.Edit: Response to the Owner - That is a blatant lie once again. I had no interaction with your Service Director Frank, even though I did request to talk to him more than once. The person I did talk to was the very aggressive and very disrespectful Ms. Melissa Bellamy. The advisor did confirm the services to me, but he never corrected me at that point that these werent complimentary services. So yes, once the services had been performed, I would of course ask why I was being charged for services that I understood (and hadnt been informed otherwise) were complimentary. But I did not once refuse to pay for these services that had already been performed. My negative review is because (A) I was not once corrected that these werent complimentary services, and (B) the disrespectful Melissa Bellamy who simply assumed I wasnt going to pay for the services, and who didnt have the decency to speak to a regular customer in a professional manner. So there is hardly any need for your false thank yous and sorries, or for your blatant lies (again, I did not speak to your service director once, even though I requested it more than once). I would still recommend everyone who values good and respectful customer service to avoid Red McCombs Toyota; instead of owning up and a decent apology, they would rather lie.

I spent about two months contacting various dealerships throughout Texas to find the color and trim 4Runner that I wanted. I probably worked with 15-20 different salespeople in total. Daniel was by far a cut above the rest both in the information he provided me, as well as his responsiveness and dedication to getting me the vehicle I was looking for. I reside in Austin but will be working with Red McCombs San Antonio in the future because of the stellar attention and service I received from start to finish.

I purchased my Tundra last Friday and it was probably the easiest and fastest vehicle purchase for me. Jesse Mancillas was my salesman and he didn’t pressure me into anything I didn’t want, he let me test drive the trucks that he knew were in my monthly price range, was very responsive with texts and has me in and out in less than one hour. Quick, easy and very friendly. I would definitely recommend Jesse. Go get yourself into a new vehicle at red McCombs Toyota and ask for Jesse!

Horrible customer service! My family has bought a few cars and trucks from RMT in the past and we have had a great experience, but there customer service has really gone down. Before you would walk in and you would feel welcomed and someone was always trying to make sure you were taken care of, but now it feels like everyone is just trying to take advantage of you. I would recommend going someone else if you are looking for a vehicle. I went to another dealership and had a way better experience.

Took my girlfriend to look for a Rav4. Didn’t find one we liked but did spot this little gem. Our salesman, Hector, helped us through every step of the way. He even stayed late to make sure we got the deal done despite an incoming hail storm. He also stored the vehicle overnight to ensure it would not get damaged overnight during the storm. Highly recommend!!

They dont seem to be interested in leasing cars to new customers. There was no interest in showing cars unless we asked we wanted to test drive, even the numbers provided were pretty high for leasing purposes. Come here only if youre looking to buy.Its quite surprising that you walk into a dealership and no one even talks to you unless you talk to them, and then there are agents who are available but will tell you that we are waiting for another customer.

Update: shortly right after my review, Melissa, service manager, contacted me for solution. No vague excuses or beat around the bush, Melissa was a great help and make sure that the issue is taken care of. Knowing that I already had the appointment coming back on Saturday and also need to leave the town same day, Melissa offered to expedite the process to help me get back on the road asap. Moreover, when I arrived at the store, Brandon, Reds master advisor, was waiting for me already and took care of us right away. He also let me know that Frank, service director, was aware of the problem and wants to make sure that we are satisfied with our service. I got my vehicle done quickly and able to go visit my sister same day out of town. The way Red McCombs Toyota doing business is what keep us coming back as their loyalcustomers.I am a loyal customer to Red. My two cars been getting services here for years and have been taken care of really well. I have no complaints with their service staffs. On the other hand, the front desk staff who make appointments for customers need proper training. I made appointment for front brake pad replacement and engine filter change as we were recommended by our maintenance service advisor. I repeated what I need twice and the front desk person took my appointment at 1 pm on Saturday for the service. I didnt think that she put any wrong there in my appointment details but when we show up at the store, the advisor who came and took our car in said  that there are ​only oil change and air filter replacement. And the break pad replacement cannot be done same day. The advisor then went on about they are working with half staff and that I shouldvemake an earlier appointment. Even though I feel sorry that they work under-staffed, that is not the reason why I should waste my time to book an appointment and still cannot get my car worked on. The front desk person shouldve told me that my request for the front brake replacement cannot be completed same day, and I couldve come earlier to get it done. I work business hour during the week and I cant bring the car in during the week. Now I have to keep driving a car with the worn-out brake pad for another week until I can get it done the next weekend.

I used to have such great experiences here but things have gone downhill! I’ve really been let down and now have to take more time to get things done right so I can get my registration renewed.I tried to go back after a couple years recently but was still disappointed. I asked for a state inspection so I could renew my registration for next year, and multi point inspection as recommended at my last oil change. I mentioned state inspection in comments upon booking an appointment and in person. FIRST I’m waiting nearly TWO hours just for someone to literally just LOOK at my car, even after booking an appointment online.And then now after trying to pick up my new registration sticker, I find out they didn’t even do a state inspection!! I’m very busy and was very upset to find I’d basically just thrown so much time away, and now have to basically go and waste MORE of my limited time to get a SIMPLE state inspection redone. I 100% do not recommend getting your car serviced here.

I highly recommend you go see Jose Silva if you are in the market for pre-owned at Red McCombs Toyota. He was so courteous and patient with us throughout the whole process and we went on a pouring rainy day. He did not show any impatience with us like some sales people do. Worst experience ever. Purchase five vehicles in my entire life and this one has to be by far the worst. Do not buy any used vehicles from this dealership.Went by to look at a 2016 Toyota TRD 4Runner get to the lot expecting a nice clean vehicle as described on the website open the back door come to find a bag of chips with a bunch of trash in a bag . no biggie opened the driver seat floor mat Dirty of mud. Like if it’s just got off the mud track. no biggie go for the test drive. Truck Drove smooth obviously it’s Toyota. so I decided to purchase the vehicle. After signing paperwork it was brought to my attention the vehicle wouldn’t be ready till tomorrow considering it has to go through Toyota safety inspection. No biggie next day get a call the vehicle won’t be ready until another day these inspections are seriously must be done thoroughly by their mechanics. And blames it on me requesting new tires. seriously let’s talk about safety you put me to test drive a vehicle that had a sticker on the windshield that clearly said not for sale however your website had it on the market. in addition I was test driving the vehicle with the hood popped open and I was concerned about it flying up. yeah let’s talk about safety. you put me in a vehicle that was not even inspected. Seems like they are more concerned on selling a vehicle then the customer Safety.

Very good people! An amazing professional. He does what he says and says what he does. Shout out to Paul Garza in Finance Dept. A very smart gentleman. He knows his stuff and doesn’t mess around.Extended review: My family and I were taken care of from beginning, till we drove off the lot with a clean Corolla SE (rims, fog lights, 6MT). Ed found the most amazing Corolla for us at a great price and only 13,600 miles. My family loves the car and is extremely amazed at how fast the entire process took. We showed up around 10:15am, drove two test drives, filled out the loan info on a tablet, signed paperwork in finance, then drove away before 1pm. Just in time for the end of the lunch rush at Sapporo right next door. CheersMad respect for Mr. Maliki👊 Every Toyota we buy from now on, we are buying through him.

Went online and looked at a vehicle that they showed in stock and available, salesperson texted me saying that they don’t have the vehicle and don’t have any coming. It is a “placeholder” to drive traffic to come and look for it on the lot.The vehicle is still up and shows as available, but they don’t have it and cannot get anything in this trim package in the near future. Glad I didn’t make the drive before contacting them.Buyer beware. The website misrepresents their inventory.

I went to purchase a used vehicle for my daughter. I test drove and inspected the car the day before the purchase and all was well with the car except for a minor scratch near the back passenger door. I came in the next day to purchase the vehicle and after I signed all the paper work, the sales person (Hector) said he was going to go get the car from the back that he had saved for me so no one would touch the car and sell it. After he hands me the keys to the vehicle I just purchased I noticed lots of damage to the car that was not present when I agreed to purchase the car. I went back inside and told Hector and finance manager of the damage and they told me to leave the car there and they would see what they could do to fix the problem. They call me the next day to tell me they could give me $300 for the damage. The following pictures clearly show the damage. The fact they they were not going to disclose the damage to me upset me and I chose to reverse the transaction all together. They blamed it on their car wash. I gave Hector the benefit of the doubt and decided to come In the following day to purchase a new corolla Instead of the used car bc they had rebates of $1750. They used trickery to try and get me to sign into having me pay full msrp for the corolla even though they had a $1750 rebate. I said for inconviencing me the day before I would have expected them to make right and he said the used dealership is seperate and that red mccombs had nothing to do with the previous days shenanigans. I got up and walked out. I eneded up going to toyota of boerne and purchased a new corolla hassle free.

I purchased a new vehicle two weeks ago and called for an update on my license plates. My salesman, Gabe, was great and I cant say enough about him. My issue is with the person who updated me on my license plates. She was very rude, especially when I politely asked if she checked my name correctly given that people spell it differently. That level of customer service, especially after a large purchase, is unacceptable.

So I find myself up with a deal today and a RAV4 the guy was pretty decent he worked with me it just seemed it wasnt the vehicle I was truly intending on but I can work with it its going to get me the a&b there are a couple things that I have to mention about the vehicle that were hidden it were very obvious it could have mentioned to me before I was in the carpets were a little torn and I was sold at a retail price wasnt the best bang for my book and overall with the rate that I was hit with it was kind of a little bit more than I would feel a little happier if they could have helped me out with a better pricing it werent willing to budget at all

This location put me in a life threatening situation. I came to this location a week after my scheduled maintenance and tire rotation was done in their service department because I noticed my rear left tire was wobbling when I drove the car. I specifically mentioned this issue to the service advisor and was told all tires would be checked while this concern was being addressed. After roughly an hour of waiting, I was told the tires were checked and they could not find a problem with the vehicle. I had some piece of mind knowing that it was looked at and the issue was addressed, however, driving out of the lot I noticed the wheel continued to wobble. I took it to a nearby tire shop to get another opinion and told them that Toyota said my tires were fine, but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t crazy because the tire was still wobbling. It was no more than 30 seconds of just looking at my tire that they found the culprit. The tire was not mounted on properly. This is something a dealership service department should be able to have caught. It was then taken care of at the tire shop. If I had drive home on the highway for any amount of time, it is very likely my tire could have come off the car. Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy and disappointed about this situation especially since it was specifically addressed to the Toyota service department at my visit. After I got my tire fixed, I returned to toyota and spoke with the service manager, Frank, who assured me this issue would be taken care of immediately, however, it does not sit right with me that I do not take the time to write this review for the safety of other customers that visit and trust this location for their car maintenance needs. I am not one to normally write reviews. Toyota is a company I have driven and trusted with my car maintenance services since I first started driving and this incident unfortunately makes me question the reliability I can have in this company and this location.

They ran my credit several times to many banks after I told my salesman at the time name Sergio not to because I was car shopping. I stated please only to a certain one that has me approved from AutoNation in Corpus Christi Tx. They didnt listen. They sent it to numerous banks and there goes my credit again. My credit score was already going low due to going back and forth the salesman stated. Im very dissatisfied going out of town thinking I can get a deal done in San Antonio Texas. We accepted delivery of our 3rd Toyota lease from Red McCombs Toyota. We turned in our trade and owed the 36th payment of our lease and were told that the payment would be included in the payoff. We were billed the last payment of our trade and our credit was affected because of nonpayment. The dealership assured us that this would not happen. We sent a letter of payoff to Southeast Toyota Finance assuring payoff but were denied. Our credit rating showed nonpayment even though our vehicle had been traded in and payoff was guaranteed per the sales contract of our new vehicle. The dealership did nothing to rectify the issue after repeated attempts on our part to do so. We are Active Duty Military and have shared this deficit of the dealership with our family, friends, and comrades. We will never again do business with Toyota Motor Credit because of this issue. Purchasing a new vehicle within the next six months and it WILL NOT be a Toyota. BUYER BEWARE

My family had been going to a different dealership for several different cars, but in the current environment of limited cars due to computer chip shortages, the sales team at that dealership did not seem to want our business. We came to Red McCombs because they are close to our house, and we will continue to come here because of Cem Yesildeg! Cem was extremely helpful in acquiring our 4-Runner and kept us informed throughout the process of ordering. When our 4-Runner finally came in, Cem went the extra mile to ensure all our paperwork was perfect, all our accessories were added, and we ended up with exactly the vehicle we wanted! We swap out cars every few years and Cem is the best salesman we have had in a long time. Do not go to there service department, they will not only Rip you off. They broke my hood release and didnt tell me. Then when they checked the hood I noticed the technician took off my left tire. I thought to my myself they dont need to take off my tire for a hood release. Then I noticed they decided to cut the rubber on one of my gaskets. They will not only fix your issue theyll make sure you have another issue, so they can get more of your money. They dont care about your safety only to take your money.

Usually they do a good job but this time after advising me that the tire warranty covers my tire repair I get a call that I’d owe $10-15 (no big deal usually). Then 10 minutes after getting their initial call magically the sensor that tells you tire pressure is low was broken (conveniently, that part isn’t covered under warranty 🙄)My issue was not that it was broken although, yes it was annoying. My issue was that they didn’t tell me during the initial call to tell me what was wrong with it. It felt like they added it on to make extra money and how do I know THEY didn’t break it when THEY moved it to repair it.

My wife and I bought a new 2020 RAV 4 in May. Almost immediately, we began having battery issues. Kenny Reyes (sales) and Mark Davis (service) were great in their support and understanding. The issue went on for a few months. Finally, Toyota issued a Technical Service Bulletin (and a subsequent update) late in 2020, and that solved the problem on our fourth visit to the service department. Kenny and Mark never gave up, never made us feel like we were an imposition, and genuinely were concerned in making things right.
