I got multiple bids, and it was really Kris personality and way of explaining the process of what he would do to install the softener that made me trust him immediately to do the job. I had Manwill replace a split system furnace/air conditioner recently, and I could not be more pleased, from start to finish. I was in contact with five people, and the treatment I received was totally professional and friendly. They responded very quickly to my initial contact and then came and determined the correct replacement units I would need to heat and cool my home correctly. The installers were great! They kept me informed and gave me options and advice about some venting issues. Their quality of work and their cleanup afterwards were exceptional. These people really mean to please, and their record of 100 years in business is a testament to their dedication and work ethic.

I needed a new spigot for my hose. The old one was hard to turn off and the pipe was too long and loose. My appointment was for Friday, but the schedule opened up and was seen earlier in the week, which worked out better for me. It didnt take long for him to get the work done and I am happy to have a better, and newer, spigot.

Aaron did a great job yesterday when he came to service our two Amana furnaces, Lennox pure air kits and AprilAir humidifiers. While we have owned the home since 2017, we only recently moved here and are discovering much about what we have. He documented and explained what was done and why, and the advantages updraft and downdraft installation. He was very efficient as well as patient in answering all our questions. His friendly manner and thorough knowledge are a big asset to your company.

I followed the recommendation to go with central and a new furnace (which was on its way out anyway). I could not be happier with the result. Power bill is lower in an average year than with the old furnace and swamp cooler! There is also not nearly as much repair and maintenance. I enjoy the service contract I purchased. It is a good value and convenient scheduling options. I have difficult access to my unit and happy with the patience and flexibility of the technicians.

The blower on our furnace had gone out leaving or home without air conditioning during a weeklong string of 100 degree days in the Salt Lake Valley. Lead times for new equipment installs were in the three week range for other companies, but from quote to install it took 5 days including the weekend.Eric the sales associate did all that he could to find the equipment and make sure it got installed as quickly as possible, then Tyler and Tori did a quick, clean, professional installation of the new equipment.Manwill has been and will continue to be the first place we call for repairs and new equipment!

In the past seven months Manwill has replaced my old furnace with a new, very efficient furnace and air conditioner. Their work was excellent and I have had no problems whatsoever with the furnace this winter. The AC was used only a short time last year at the end of summer but it worked perfectly and I am looking forward to the warm weather without the hassle of the old swamp cooler. The price that I paid for this system was very fair and was considerably lower than a bid I got from another company. Also, a couple of weeks ago I had to have an old toilet replaced and Manwill did that as well. All the plumbing and heating in my house works great now and now I am planning to have them replace my old water heater in the near future. It is so nice to have a company that is professional and honest to call when I need some plumbing work done.

Called Manwill for a second opinion after another heater/air conditioner repair group, a large and well-known one, told us our nine-year-old furnace, which began to run erratically, and then suddenly stopped running, was toast. (Our guess was problems caused by thermostat and its wiring; no, he said, it was our furnace.)He looked at the thermostat. He looked at our furnace. It was corrosion, we were told, all over almost every part of our furnace: to replace those corroded parts, we were told, would cost far, far more than a new furnace! u0010So why not buy a new one? We agreed with this logic, and pre-paid five thousand dollars plus tax, for a new one. On the spot. To be installed within days.(Note: our furnace is difficult to reach, through a high-ceilinged trap door, up in a hundred-year-old attic. The furnace is unseen by us.)What if it did not suffer from galloping corrosion? No maintenance tech over nine years had ever mentioned a problem with corrosion. After an evenings thought, I cancelled the purchase, while we reconsidered.David and Courtney through Manwill appeared, promising to find out whether it was really true our furnace had reached the end of its lifetime. Within minutes: running again! And the air conditioner, too! And--all running well, within factory specs, he told us.The villain? Not corrosion. There was no corrosion, except for a small spot of rust at the top of the furnace, where a small amount of rainwater, through the roof, had apparently once fallen, creating a tiny spot of rust, technician/repairman David said. The villain was the other tech, who must have known there was a burned-out fuse, and chose not to mention that, or repair.One burned-out fuse! The heater (and the air conditioner, which runs off of it) cannot run with a burned-out fuse.Conclusion: second opinions, if you feel little flickers of doubt, are important, when it comes to what operates what is, really (in addition to your fireplace, if you have one) the heart of your house.Thank you, Manwill, for pointing out to us over the phone that there were some red flags about another companys story, and sending us someone who made clear he really cares about diagnosing and repairing. And proved it.That fuse, with a brass base and about an inch of clear, faceted glass, really a pretty thing, is now on our fireplace mantel, a symbol of what the difference is between a good repairman, and a bad one.

I paid top dollar for a top of the line heating and a/c unit. There have been nothing but problems. I have expensive acoustic guitars I wanted humidified and I was told several different things by different people. Long story short it never did what I said at the front end that I needed it to do. I would have them uninstall it but not worth the risk during covid. The thermostat wasn’t working and now the brand new a/c unit isn’t working. For service calls I keep getting out at the back of the line. If I could go back, I would give my business to someone else.

These guys are AMAZING - Theyve come to our new home for 3 different projects, and while they arent cheap, so far it definitely seems to be worth the quality and value of their work! In addition, I had an emergency leak at my home on a Saturday, and after my home warranty company couldnt find anyone to come for 4 hours, Manwill picked up after 5 seconds and had someone at my house within a couple hours even though it was late Saturday night. Kody was quick, efficient, communicated with me about his ETA, and even helped me to submit the warranty claim to my company. Cant recommend this company more highly!

Manwill Plumbing has been a lifesaver during the last year of the pandemic. Our house is older and is experiencing a variety of different issues. We appreciate the visits of the different plumbers from Manwill who have been willing to come out during the Covid days, skilled, masked, professional, and good natured. This month, for example, a dynamite team, Bill and Kyle, came out and immediately diagnosed and fixed a clogged tub drain, tightened some leaky hose faucets, and checked a spurting kitchen faucet. A week later, they returned and installed a new kitchen faucet. We’ve stuck with Manwill for many years now because we can trust them to work skillfully on our plumbing problems until they are solved.

The first Tech was very friendly and figured out the problem with our furnace. Unfortunately repair parts were not available. Negative: he reeked of cigarette smoke.The next day a different pair of Techs came and installed a new control board. Again, friendly and knowledgeable. Negative: the male Tech spent the entire time talking to his wife on his cell phone.I feel the cost of the repair ($823) was excessive. Control boards on the internet ranged up to $200 and igniters were about $40. Manwill has always been pricey, but do good work. I would also liked to have an itemized bill, instead of one that shows the total cost.

This is my first time dealing with Manwill Plumbing and Heating, Inc. I spoke with Jeff in the office about my situation and concerns. Jeff was very understanding and professional in listening to me and willing to go the extra mile to meet my needs. David and Jessica were the technicians that took care me. They were kind and courteous, diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs. They too, answered my questions and were very professional in doing so. I certainly will be using Manwills services again.

Tech came to install a thermostat because the original one was defective. The tech didnt know anything about the new thermostat and had to read up on the installation and operation of the thermostat. He charged me for his time learning how to install the thermostat which I think was incorrect...He should have known what to do instead of learning on my time. I called Manwill to bring this to their attention and didnt get anywhere with Jeff, the one who took my call. He was actually rude and short with me and blamed me for the problem! He basically said no one understands these thermostats and has to learn about them. Unacceptable service and complaint handling.

The place was very clean and inventory was easy to see. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. Social distancing and masks were appropriately in place. Large selection of what I needed.

They were very quick to respond, had the part in stock and completed the repairs that day, when everyone else we had contacted said it would be a couple of days.

During regular maintenance the technician discovered a wiring error in the humidifier that was missed previously. It now works better than ever. He explained in detail what was wrong. Very professional and thorough. It increased the final billing but we’re glad he discovered the issue.

The service performed was the installation of a new sink ( we installed new counters as well) and all of the plumbing hook ups that requires, including installation of new faucet, new turn off valves and a sink strainer, plus rehooking up the garbage disposal and dish washer. This work required about 2-3 hours time. All work was done with professional expertise and promptly beginning at 8 am in the morning. We have used Manwill before and they did their usual excellent job. Thanks.

Manwill is the best plumber weve hired, compared to about 5 others. Extremely professional and courteous, and came three separate times to get the job done correctly, for a fair price. We needed a bathtub faucet repaired (the set screw was stuck) and a kitchen faucet replaced. The first visit, they realized that they MIGHT need to replace the entire bathtub faucet which involved welding pipe, so they agreed to come back at a more convenient time for us. When they came back, they were able to repair the faucet without the complete replacement, and saved us lots of $$. The faucet was not adjusted properly however, so they came back the next day and fixed it, free of charge. They charged us only for the jobs, not the three visits :) The kitchen faucet they replaced works perfectly, and the shower does as well! We are now loyal Manwill customers, after looking for fair, dependable plumbers for many years. Our search is over!

Good value, deal made...then Brent came out to install, in process of prep to install he said I think you May already have a good unit, let’s test; and he set up a 3 point check requiring a lapse of a day or two.to get results. Hired Manwill to install a simple drinking fountain. After 3 failed attempts and paying 3 service fees each time I hired Shamrock Plumbing (at the manufacturer’s recommendation). Shamrock installed the drinking fountain at their first visit. The only reason Manwill gets a two- star rating is because we have otherwise had good service before.

Everything was great. He arrived promptly at 8:00 and left at 10:00. Disposed fo the boxes for us and was very pleasant. The job he did was excellent. He put in a new sink, faucet and garbage disposal. Everytime he came in from out side he would wipe he feet 3 times on the mat by the door. My own family doesnt even do that. We have had Manwill come out a few times before and the experiences have all been good. We will continue to use your services if something else should arise. Even the lady that I talked to on the phone was very polite and pleasant..Thanks for every thing.

AC was blowing warm. The evaporator was freezing constantly and the house was 85 degrees! Manwill tech came out and said it was working fine and we just needed to buy a very expensive split system and remove all of our existing ducting..... According to them nothing else would work. We suffered another week and called a different local company. Their tech came out that day added some freon and everything is working perfectly at 72 degrees all day for the last week. In the end, the ~$150 Manwill diagnostic call was useless and a thinly veiled pitch for a completely unnecessary upgrade.Thanks for the reply. In the end, we still had a hot house with no clear plan from you in July. We needed an attempt to fix it before suggesting the expense and hassle of a new system. Im sitting here typing this at 70 degrees - recharging worked.

I would highly recommend Manwill. I had to replace a furnace and A/C and had two brothers come out. (Sorry I cant remember their names.)They worked SO well together and they answered all of my stupid questions. When the job was done the inspector said it was the best workmanship that he had ever seen. He was VERY impressed. Honestly, I dont think that Manwill is necessarily any less expensive and I did get several bids, but I was very impressed with the customer service from top to bottom and how easy they were to work with. The blower motor on our HVAC went out and after two other companies looked at our furnace they recommended a new furnace due to the age or offered a repair at approximately $1500. Manwill came and quoted repair and service call at $600 below the others and said our furnace should last a good 5 years more before replacement.

Very poor experience I have an older system and I was selling the house and wanted to make it right for the new owner, all technician did was Complain the whole time about how old my system was and was negative about everything.He kept saying I should just not to worry about the new owner it was not my problem anymore but that’s not how I do business.He replaced a part that the most expensive I could find online was 140.00 and charged me almost 600 dollars and was there 30 minutes.If I was not in such a hurry to get things right for the new owner I would have asked him to leave and called someone else. Our humidifier stoped working. I thought it was the solenoid. I checked Amazon $28 and not in stock for 6 days. I called Manwill they had it in stock $54. So off I went to manwill. Jeff helped me asked why I thought it was the solenoid. I explained that the board had 24 volts and the humidistat had 24 volts. Jeff asked if I tested the solenoid... nope don’t have 24v ac supply. So Jeff took it apart tested it and said it looked good. He suggested the humidistat was the problem hmmmm ok how much is that $35. Turns out Jeff was correct . He saved me money and time. Lesson here for me is Amazon may be cheaper but a well run local business is worth supporting!!Thanks Jeff
