Its a nicely stocked supermarket with all the ethnic foods you may expect and more. They have different kiosks or departments which in some of them you have to pay in the same area. Ie. The panaderia, the kitchen/restaurant, the aguas frescas before you continue your shopping in the general area of the store. So be prepared to pay for specialty items separately. There is usually no wait time or very little. The kitchen may be the most time consuming getting your order ready but its expected, since most meals they prep for you they include everything you may need later on. Like if you order menudo or caldo de res, they warm tortillas, give you prechopped onion, cilantro, red peppers, limes all from scratch. Plus silverware and napkins. If youre not used to waiting a good 10-15 minutes, then order here first and continue your shopping to make it more convenient as this aint your typical fast food restaurant. Its more like a traditional sit-down waited service, even if you order to go. In which you may want to call ahead and place your order so its ready when you come in. Overall, great visit. Like other reviews say, it does help if you can at least understand Spanish a bit. It really does a long way in getting exactly what you need and not be misunderstood. Food tastes great like homemade, and its affordable and appealing. The closest thing to the real deal authentic, and Ive had my fair share its hard to find meals this good nowadays. Im bookmarking this place for sure! 5 🌟

Many have been shopping there for years and I will never shop there again. My car and other people have got their cars towed. I saw a handicapped person get their car towed. No signs everywhere of no parking when we parked. When in to shop and found out my car was towed. It’s a scam that the owner of Rancho Mart and Tow car companies have to pay each other kick backs. You better get Gephart to investigate.

I really like their pastries and their produce the price is unbeatable on produce and fruit. Certain items like milk and cheese and a canned goods are more expensive than other stores if youre going to buy like your main monthly grocery purchase but definitely if youre shopping for the best price in seasonal produce vegetables and fruit this is the place their price on pork and chicken is also unbeatable but you do need to be careful while youre purchasing because sometimes theyre prepared the chicken is left from one day to the next and the pieces on the bottom of the tank will not be as fresh as the ones on the top I also do not buy fish and seafood at this place because its not guaranteed to be the best freshness. The manager is a nice hard-working lady that will help you find something special here and if you need it and a sister with a special order in their bakery. The store could be cleaner and their parking lot is not very safe. Ive seen several police busts, car crashes and TONS of hobos all the time harrassing customers as soon as they step out of the car and back again as soon as we are going back home with little security. Thats why I didnt give a 5 star ⭐

Rancho Markets is superb. I love having a store that sales Hispanic foods, drinks, candies, and the basic shopping experience that I would find at a local competition grocery chain within the area. Their prices are sometimes higher, but this is to be expected. However, a good chunk of their goods in produce, meats, candy, soft drinks, and a bunch of other items are the best prices Ive seen in a very long time. All the people on the cash registers are extremely friendly and speak English & Spanish to assist to all the customer needs. Their is an Ice Cream shop to the left as you walk through the main doors on the West Entrance from the Parking Lot, and as you walk through the doors into the actual store, a Boost Mobile sits to the left of the doors, and about 20 feet to the right, A Metro by T-Mobile is their too. The store is very clean, and it always is a nice buzz of noise. NOTE: Tends to be busier from the after noon hours of 3 PM to 5 PM typically Wednesday Through Saturday every week

Ive been to this place once and as they say, First impression is lasting. I was not very impressed. My family are bargain shoppers and it didnt seem like there were too many sales happening here. Really kind of overpriced. There were some items such as liquid laundry detergents and fabric softeners that I have never seen in such a large size before. Produce seemed fresh and there was a pretty good collection of bakery goods. The ice cream was totally melted as they put it in one of the closed door refrigerators and not a freezer. They also have a decent coffee selection. Cashiers didnt interact with customers much and not at all with me. Just got my stuff and left. Overall, just didnt get a welcome feeling from this place and more than likely wont return.

Horrible, HORRIBLE experience. Dont shop here unless you want to be robbed. And DEFINITELY dont shop here if you think they care about keeping your business. I had my wallet stolen inside this store and received nothing but the runaround from staff and management. The store has cameras everywhere but good luck getting to see that footage if youve been robbed. Even the detective I reported the incident to said this store is uncooperative and difficult to work with. The security person literally shrugged and walked away from me. The store manager couldnt be bothered to help at all, lied to me about sending someone to help, and then went to lunch. The cashier lied about the manager having left the store when she could - literally - see her from the register. At NO POINT did anyone make the slightest effort to help me. I have shopped at other Rancho Markets before, but not at this one. I will never shop here again, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to never, ever shop at this location. I would give them minus 10 stars, if it were possible to do so.

I always love the variety and selection of more ethnic foods that I can buy at Rancho Market. When I want goat meat at a reasonable price, for example, this is the place to go. Or tamarinds, or the big yams... I could go on!The guys are very helpful, however at times there’s a communication barrier. I think they should at least hire bilingual people, if they want most employees to be able to speak Spanish because of the demographic they target. Heck you go to Russian or Asian places and they speak English there, may not always be fluent, but you can communicate. At Racho I’ve met employees who wouldn’t speak English at all but preferred to call another employee to help me instead.

Best place to grab a quick dinner for a good price. We were staying in salt lake for the weekend, wanted real Mexican food. The Deli had all the good stuff and we fed our family of five for TWENTY Dollars. The soup selection was great, pastor tacos were super tender, and the horchata was literally the best Ive had. There is a dinning area indoors after you order your food. (There arent waiters as it is a deli style restaurant) We got all of our favorite treats at the Panderia too! Two bags of baked goods for four dollars. This is real Mexican food from a real Mexican grocery store, it was better than many of the Mexican restaurants I had previously tried in Salt Lake, and I could pick up groceries and other necessities while I was there. That is a huge plus when you are traveling with kids. The overall appearance of the store was clean and easy to shop. Employees were courteous and helpful. Two locations--one around 900 west north temple and one 900 east 3300 south--my favorite. I give 5 stars when a place is funky rather than corporate; when it has something unique; and when prices are good. Rancho absolutely maxxes out. There is an in-store Mexican restaurant, in-house bakery for breads and sweets, a tortilla/chip factory in the store, and ppl from several different cultures. Want goat meat? They have it. Their produce is amazing. Im not sure if the veggies get misted, but omg the choices are awesome. Fresh herbs of great variety, Jack fruit, mangoes, cacti, tons of stuff new to re many of us. Butcher has so many choices! Be brave and try something new in beef, pork, chicken, fish. Lines are rarely long, parking no problem; stores are clean. I love the times fresh beets are 50 cents/lb or cabbage is 25-33 cents/lb or when I can get a decent serving of cheese cake for $1.50. You can buy beans or rice in bulk along among other choices. Cardamom prices are best Ive ever seen. Dont expect much in frozen section. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff here are busy so they can seem standoffish but they are wonderful once you make a little effort. Arm yourself with a English to spanish dictionary and go wander around. Make sure you go hungry as there is a delightful little restaurant inside cooking up some of the tastiest mexican chow this side of the border.Prices are fantastic and go out of your comfort zone and try ordering in Spanish. Even if its broken and you remember little from your high school studying its a respectful way to pay tribute to the awesome culture and wonderful people represented by this market.
