I really love this store: my husband and I are fellow nerds and love to come here and play games. My husband has gotten to know several of the employees as well! They are all super friendly and kind. They are helpful and they aren’t ever rude. We play battle tech and one of the store employees, “mr.Pleb,” has given us a few pointers while playing since we are new he has played. It’s fun to go to a store in which the employees have a passion for what they are selling and can help you when your stuck in the middle of the game without impacting their work duties and responsibilities. The only thing about this store that makes me a little nervous is that the bathroom doesn’t feel clean ever because the bathrooms walls look filthy as well as the trash cans never get wiped down and the carpet is trashed. So it’s a little nerve wracking when it doesn’t feel truly clean. I wished they paid attention to this especially since we are still in a pandemic.

This is one of the best game stores in the state. Prices are better than every store (Amazon included). Selection is better than every store. I do think the staff should spend more time understanding every product on their shelf. I understand that can be hard if you have such a huge selection though. Regardless, if Im looking for a game, this is my stop even though theyre a 40 minute drive from me and theres 6 or 7 other stores closer.

Theyll help you if you need it, let you just browse, and offer an awesome space for various game play. I am a boardgame newbie. I made a purchase and through an issue with the manufacturer, no fault of the store, there was a problem with the game. I returned to the store and compounded the issue by very poorly explaining the problem. The manager took care of everything quickly and was very understanding even with my poor explanation of the problem. Every employee I interacted with was kind and helpful. I am confident I will be making more purchases in the future.

Been preordering boxes and packs from them for half a year now. Planning to travel there for Chilling Reign launch! Theyve never failed me and from what I can tell everyone there is extremely nice and helpful.

I started going to weekly Star Wars Armada game nights here and its becoming my go-to FLGS.The staff is very friendly and the place has a laid-back vibe.There are four standing-height war game tables and some regular tables in an open area, along with a second room with its own table for gaming on the ground floor. There is more space in a loft upstairs.Prices are fair for game stuff, and snack/drink prices are cheap. They also have a loyalty program where you get discounts for earning points.Finally, the owner is very LGBTQ friendly and makes the spot feel like a place anyone can game.

Dont anyone listen to those Kunz boys. They mustve never worked retail and dont understand how business works. The employees here, especially Kyle, know what they are talking about. Theyve got a great selection and have always taken good care of me.If you are going to leave a poor review because you couldnt get your Pokémon card, youve got bigger problems. 🤷Heck, they probably are only into Pokémon now cause its the cool thing. Hands down my favorite game store in SLC. The selection is pretty good, if sometimes a little jumbled, and the folks are always friendly. But what really blew me away was the prices.You will literally pay less here, at a FLGS, than you will on Amazon. I will gladly drive half an hour to support these guys and get great deals on games. They also have a loyalty program that will earn you even more discounts.If you are an avid boardgamer, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

They Don’t know what they are talking about. Waiting four days to get a eevee elite booster box and now they won’t sell it to me because they are saying it’s for Pokémon night but they agree to sell me it when they got them in. Employees don’t know their information. Don’t go there, it’s a waste of time

I get greeted every time I go in, they are willing to answer my questions, and offer suggestions. They have helped me find paints for my miniatures. They are never pushy or condescending. There is also a great selection of games there. Probably one of my favorite game stores in the valley.

Best nerd store around. Friendly knowledgeable staff will help you find what your looking for and answer any questions you have. They have a large selection of games and supplies with very reasonable prices. It also looked like they had plenty of room in the back with tables for playing games including terrain pieces.

Great game store! I have been back a few times now and every time the staff has been friendly and helpful. The store is not huge but they have things well defined between the merchandise and the play area. That way I can browse all the games and not disturb anyone playing. The prices here tend to be better than most game shops I go to. Not by a landslide but definitely enough that I will come here to pick things up first. the selection is large and varied. They dont seem to commit to any one type of game but they do seem to have many card games.but I have found that the board game and tabletop game selection is quite good although they dont have a huge quantity they have a large selection and I have found several things at Demolition that I have not found at other shops that carry a much larger quantities.

This place is awesome. The selection is huge, they had a ton of stuff that I haven’t been able to find at other stores. On top of that, their prices are amazing. Almost everything is marked down 10-20% from MSRP. There was a game going on with a smaller group when I got there, and tons of space to play, and I didn’t even wander upstairs where they have their store library. I’ll be coming back often.

These guys have a cool shop for card and board games. It seems they do as good, and in most cases better, than any other local board game shop with offering low prices. They also have a nice area with tables in the back where you can play. Weve bought multiple games from these guys and it has become the first place I check if we are in need of a new game because of the best prices for a brick and mortar in town!

This is BY FAR my favorite game store! They have the BEST prices of all other game stores Ive visited - and Ive been to a lot. They have an awesome selection, and are always happy to order anything that you want if they dont have it in stock. They have tons of space for you to play, and lots of games for you to demo. They dont mind if you come in just to play and use the space. If you are there late, they will tell you when they are closing, but are never mean about kicking you out. They are awesome people, and their knowledge of games is extremely impressive!

Great prices. I called about a dozen game stores in the valley to see if a popular game I wanted was in stock. It was amazing how much cheaper Demolition Games was than others. They also had better stock and variety of other things I was wanting to buy. I went to some local stores later in the day as I decided to buy a few more items, but their prices were 25% higher for what I wanted, so Ill be making the drive up to Demolition again.

Dont bring your kids here. This is a great game store with the best prices and a big selection. However, every time there are other people there playing games, I can hear loud and obscene table talk as I browse the games. Some time ago I even remember the staff joining in on the cursing. Ive seen others bring their children in and the profanity did not stop. Good store, but some bad apples in the play space.

Excellent game shop! This is the place for all your board/card games, trading card games, models/figures and roleplay games. The staff has always been helpful and knowledgeable for me, plus if they dont have something in stock, they can almost always order it in for you, at no additional cost/fee! Well stocked, this shop hosts a variety of games that are organized nicely. Plenty of tables to play at plus a fitting atmosphere complete with nicely painted murals. The shop also has a number of games you can rent for free. The chairs are sturdy but not fat friendly :S Other then that great shop.

Hands down the best tabletop game store in the Salt Lake Valley. The selection is pretty great, the prices often match Amazons or are only slightly higher. The staff is friendly and very clearly passionate about gaming.Most importantly of all the environment theyve crafted is very inviting to all gamers: from those who just discovered there are more board games than Monopoly to those who have sunk days into painting their miniatures for Twilight Imperium. I cannot recommend this store enough.

Ive been to stores all across the salt lake valley. There are a some that are really great for hanging out to play. Some have good people come in to game. Some have friendly and knowledgeable staff. A few even have good, competitive pricing. The only one Ive found to have all of these traits (and more) is Demolition Games. It is everything I look for in a gaming store. I highly recommend it and invite you to come see for yourself.

Whomever worked the store at close tonight (12/19/18), couldnt have been less helpful, completely disinterested in us as we browsed the store. He wasnt even at the counter and took him 5 minutes to greet us and then hurried back to his boardgame in progress. The miniatures were very disorganized. Im sorry but if you have a choice to visit a different game store, Id highly recommend doing that.

Really great staff and a growing MTG community (some EDH on Sundays). Their MTG singles selection is growing, and they sell them for great prices. Not sure if they are buying singles, but its worth checking. Shout out to Randy for being a great staff member and always having cool EDH and modern deck ideas.Plenty of other games on sale and being played on a daily basis. Heres the bottom line:Nearly all the prices are below MSRP. Theyre comparable to Amazon prices, but with the added bonus of no shipping times and supporting a local game store.They have games for you to try and tables for you to use. My one complaint is it feels a bit dark, and the lighting could be better for gaming, but honestly with these prices itd be absurd to shop anywhere else.

Large selection of board games, miniatures and miniature supplies. Large area for gaming. They do have limited selection for popular games like Heroclix and DiceMasters. Now, Im leaving 2 stars because of the sheer lack of service. Walked in, no acknowledgement, looked around for a solid 5 minutes still no acknowledgement, as I leave I still was not acknowledged. There were literally 3 people in the store, 2 playing MTG Im guessing and the third watching. Wish I could rate higher but this experience leaves a lot to be desired.
