Harmons at Citycreek is one of the finest groceries you can go. It is kind of a hidden gem in downtown! The experience of shopping there is unique. The place is truly clean and has a variety of rare items. Also, there is a pharmacy inside. And above all, I love the seasonal decorations!

Gorgeous store near City Creek! Such a variety of everything, I spent a little too much time here. The second floor cafe area gives a great view of the whole store, and it was empty so it was great for me to enjoy some of the food I bought. Great place, will be coming again soon!

Parking is cool, very well organized clean store with everything a grocery store should have, and I have no doubt in my mind that there is love in the air at this store. People have met here and found their one true love. Maybe on the cereal aisle. Maybe in the deli area. Watch where you go, Cupid’s arrows are flying all around in this place! 💘 ❤️ 💋

We will and do drive the extra miles to do our grocery shopping at Harmons. It is so clean and well organized and the atmosphere can’t be beat for a grocery store. They have everything I need and more and don’t even get me started on their cheese selection. Top notch grocery store! The only complaint I have is that the handles on their paper bags break SO easily. Easy fix-bring your own bags when you shop or just be weary of that.

I really enjoy coming to this location. I live very close by so it’s nice and convenient. It’s nice to come to a place where the staff is always friendly and always willing to help. (Some Walmart employees) it’s a classy place with nice stuff. The burger joint that’s inside the place is super delicious. I stop in from time to time and have a bite to eat inside the lobby and it’s very relaxing and comforting for a nice lunch meal to relax and to hit some shopping with a full stomach! Pharmacy staff was amazing. Came to get my COVID vaccine, and am extremely needle phobic. Pharmacist was so sweet, she walked me through the process, and made me feel really comfortable. Made sure I knew what was going on at each step and made me feel really in control of the process. Thank you so much!!!!

This has to be the best Harmon’s in the state or in the company in general. The store is huge. The selection store wise is larger than any store I’ve seen. From cereal, to cheeses, to produce, to deli, to beer. You will definitely find things you won’t find elsewhere. There is a culinary education piece that I love that offers cooking education to adults and kids. There is a post office, a burger joint, and a cafe. The bakery and pizzeria is ridiculously awesome as well. Parking is convenient. This is definitely a five star store experience.

I’m very upset that they got rid of all the workers and replaced them with self checkouts upstairs. I lugged my groceries upstairs thinking I would be greeted and rung up by someone as I have for years and it was four new self checkouts. I do not like self checkouts especially being pregnant and already doing grocery shopping. If you’re going to make me scan and bag my groceries they should offer a discount.

Great prices for superb quality goods. There is plenty of free parking, a coffee shop with donuts, a Cafe upstairs, a fine selection of fresh fruit, and everything else you expect in an upscale grocery. The old bad thing is that you will spend too much money on things not on your list.

Decent selection, overpriced for a store that pays starvation wages and doesn’t even provide chairs for it employees, so they don’t have to stand all day unnecessarily. Employees are either super decent or some anti maskers/power trippers? Not sure what’s going on honestly,it’s bizarre. Work on team member happiness, bosses!

This place is awesome… I love cooking and I love great stores and this happens to be one of them. Everything is extremely fresh… The coffee shop upstairs is wonderful… If you happen to be in the area I need to fill your fridge this is where to go.

Tried to get dogfood on curbside or grocery pickup at city creek store and they told me sorry they were not doing that today. They were backed up and not doing that today. So I drove down there couldnt park there to shop. The closest I could get was 2 blocks. I have emphysema and copd. That wasnt working. Oh and all over the building were advertisements for order ahead and pick up your groceries, no waiting. So theres that . That was after not having the product in the 3300 S 1300 E store. So guess I wont use harmons any more‽?

Generally enjoy shopping here, they always have unique items and a very inviting atmosphere. The biggest issue, for me, is the produce department. The chopped fruit seems to have declined in quality recently, its impossible to find an unbruised apple or a package of berries without mold. And the avocados are always over-ripe or hard as a rock. These are things Ive noticed for months and its surprising given that the rest of the store is high-quality.UPDATEThe produce quality has continued to decline but the real reason for my 1 star review is the 200 surcharge for unvaccinated employees. Coercion is not consent and I will not be shopping here going forward.

Super helpful employees and staff, reasonable prices, good quality! It’s close to hotels in downtown SLC. My wife and I came to this place to buy groceries almost every day that we were visiting Utah.

Beautiful store that is a combo of whole foods & Safeway. Totally weird but I liked it. The only downside was that I went about 7:15 am & the staff were clearly not psyched that I was there. Id describe one of them as downright growly. 🤷‍♀️

Obviously Harmons is great. Im writing this review though because I called and spoke to CODY for a product my mother sent me running around the City for. He was beyond helpful and not even in the same department. When I showed up to purchase the product he noticed I was having a hard time finding it and took me right to the perfect spot. His customer service and positive attitude was so nice. Queen was jamming in the store and no one seemed to care, however, Cody was rockin it. If I ever open up my own business, I might steal him for myself. Thank you so much!!!

I am giving 4 stars because I don’t necessarily believe in giving bad reviews for a place that you typically love. We love Harmon’s, it is our local grocery store of choice. You get an awesome mix everything and can find a lot of more unique things that you can’t always find at a regular grocery store!My negative comment is that the last couple of months have been absolutely atrocious for produce. We never had to check every single item before, but we have been accidentally been coming home with produce rotted in the middle such as garlic cloves, onions, bell peppers, the asparagus in the middle of a bunch, apples in the middle of the bag, and end up throwing away things we just bought that day. I feel that while yes, inspect your fruit and veggies before you buy but also, there are supposed to be people who inventory properly? It’s disappointing and something we’ve not had an issue with until recently. Would love the produce to return to its normal high quality standard that Harmon’s has always given...Still a frequent shopper though! :)

Only reason I ever went to this Harmons was for the premade Turkey Dinners they seem to make at every Harmons. Out of the blue these guys stopped making it. No matter how much I request it, they wont make it. So if ur like me and go to Harmons for their yummy turkey dinner. Its not there anymore. Sad sad. Since thats all I shop for at Harmons since everything else is over priced (exp: frikkin Rice a Roni is nearly $2, its 99 cents everywhere else) I can only do 2 stars. Produce is always fresh so u get another star for that. Edit: I just found out I can order my turkey dinner online!! HARMONS TURKEY DINNER WOOOOO!! still over priced groceries but that turkey dinner gets 5 STARS!

Nice atmosphere great products nice and clean cooking school free parking

It is a very new, elegant supermarket. They have a self-serving Chinese hot buffet style, and a good salad bar open most of the day. They have prepped food for a fast lunch with deli, pizza and togo. They deliver excellent quality but in your pocket book you feel it. There are slightly higher prices for groceries, but they are anticipated in a downtown store center. They have parking, but if they fee, Im unsure.

This is a very nice grocery store. The prices are very good for the area. There is a very large selection of many items. The store is very well lit and inviting. There is also a nice upper level where you can eat and look out over the entire store. Also there is a nice parking garage that you can park in for 2 hours.

This is hands down best grocery store in the heart of Salt Lake City . Good coffee, good food and fresh groceries. Parking is ample.

This Harmon is expensive but way more fun to go into than Whole Foods. The bakery section has all kinds of very creative desserts at very reasonable prices, and I was quite pleased with the popcorn selection. They were one of the last places still open on Christmas Eve which was a very welcome surprise.

As long as you don’t go during peak hours this store feels safer than others. They actually seem to enforce their mask policy unlike most stores. Which is a relief. I love the selections they carry! They carry a lot of local products, and certain high end products that are harder to find elsewhere. The cute plants up front are great too :)

Harmons Grocery - City Creek is a very organized, clean, and fantastic grocery store in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City. There is a large variety of selections to choose from at reasonable prices. It is open on Sunday when most sites and restaurants in downtown Salt Lake city are closed. This Harmons is such a beautiful and comforting store. There is so much care that goes into the displays and signs and the overall atmosphere. The managers are always on the floor asking if you need anything and making sure youre taken care of. The staff at checkout are always friendly and kind- some of them never fail to make me laugh. I am very lucky that this is my neighborhood grocer.

So much fun and the food was great! Made Indian food with Chef Evan. He had lots of good tips and tricks, and there was a good amount of both instruction and hands on time. Also loved his information about ingredients, which was highly informed by what is stocked in the store.

Utahs best Harmons! It is a one stop shop for your downtown needs. The best groceries, the best selection, and the best cafe. Harmons Cafe serves Cafe Ibis coffee which Utahs best coffee. With everything combined it makes it hard not to love this Harmons.

Great store selling scrumptious fruts, veggies, beverages, frozen foods, and vitamins nestled in the heart of Salt Lake City. An eye candy experience. Bought a ganache white peach cheesecake: penance required as this is a sinfully delicious dessert!Very clean environment and clean restroom.

Harmons has eternal natural alkaline water 4/$5 all month

I was on here reading some of the reviews and came across a review that I witnessed the other day. It was written by a Tiffany Allman, who for some reason does not seem understand that wearing a mask is to protect her and the people around her. She also seems to think this is a violation of her rights, it is not! The store is privately owned and is by law allowed to require anyone entering the store to ware a mask and to ask anyone to leave not wearing one. Not to mention it was ordered by the governor, state wide. The store also provides an online service to anyone who has a medical condition. This person had no excuse she just seemed to be someone who was looking to start trouble. Its shameful to think that this woman would come into this store and put the people around her at risk. Tiffany you should be ashamed of yourself for putting me and my family at risk. I commend those people who did what they could to remove you from the store that day. Its people like you that make this country so toxic! One more thing the comment about putting her in chains it totally false, that was never said.

It was a great shopping experience for me since it was my first time visiting a Harmons. The product variety was amazing and the fruits and vegetables were fresh with all types and varieties of packaged foods. The store was clean and well maintained and minimal lines at the register.

My favorite local grocery store!! The store has a great selection of products ranging from organic, vegan, gluten free, diet, and allergy safe.This location is also in the center of downtown across the street from the City Creek Mall and is also just a block away from the UTA Trax Station. The store is also close to The Mormon Salt Lake Temple and other landmarks to see. The parking level 2 is a great spot for rooftop photography and has a great view of the Walker Center building in the back ground which lights up blue at night and red during bad air quality days.The store uses paper bags and is very recycle friendly. All food from the deli, salad bar, sushi bar, sandwich bar, bakery, cafe, and wok bar are made fresh in store and from scratch, they even make their own mozzarella cheese.The store has vast selection of options for a quick snack including Sushi, Sandwiches, a 2 Island Salad Bar, Hot Soup bar, Pizza oven, Deli, Bakery, a Cafe, Cheese island, a Hot Wok Bar(generally has pot stickers, egg rolls, orange chicken, general tso’s chicken, low mein, fried rice, and sweet and sour pork.) they also have a bulk seed and spices section, and make your own a trail mix station.They have bath bombs and soap made locally by The Soap Lady. The store has dinner heat and eat deals daily for two or four people to save you when you don’t want to cook dinner.I recommend this store to all my friends and family and even strangers.They have a ton of seating on the second floor(cafe level) and it is great to sit and eat, there are a couple of local school tutors who meet with their clients there as it is a great public space to eat learn(use the free WiFi) and relax.It is a great meeting place and they have a conference room you can rent out.The store also has a post office/business center, a dietician, and a cooking school(great for large family gatherings or work parties, etc).There is also a fire place to warm up next to on a cold day.This is also a great spot to stop and eat if you are on layover for your flight, then you can go to the mall and take the trax green line directly back to the air port.If you enjoy beautiful yet cozy local grocery stores that provide a large variety of products(and will order in things they don’t sell just for you) then I recommend you go visit Harmons City Creek!!

Finally, I was able to stop at the City Creek Harmon’s store. I have to say it is a beautiful store. Very clean and kind of glitzy. From the Cafe’ level looking down it is very colorful and fun. What I found disappointing was pricing and lack of pricing. I found prices for the items I was looking for, at 25% - 75% more then I pay at the store I usually shop at. Brands and quality being very similar. With my food budget that is huge. Fresh Produce was confusing. I found several displays with out any pricing. One display had two prices posted with six different items displayed. None of the items in the display case matched the prices posted. I ended up leaving with out any purchases. I will likely stop again some time but it will be for convenience only and only for a very few items.

This location used to be more friendly and welcoming. Since Covid, Ive been impolitely treated by employees every other visit it over things that dont matter. We all have more rules to follow these days, and the staff who work here need to remember they are in the service industry when reminding customers.This last visit, I went to the express lines carrying 9 items split among 3 black Harmons reusable bags. The first thing out of the cashiers mouth was Hello, how many items do you have?Seriously?! The express line has a 15 item limit and youre worried about the things Im carrying by hand? Ive been stuck in that same line behind people with carts full. My bags werent even full to the top and it feels horrible to be singled out.I work across the street from this location, and the decline in service makes me regret spending money here in the past. Go back to the Harmons quality service I remember growing up or youll lose a customer. Amazon, Smiths, and Walmart are cheaper, and without better service I have little reason to shop here anymore.

This Harmon’s is across the street from City Creek Mall. The layout is awesome! It is fun to see all the aisles from above. The chicken tender meal is amazing, the salad bar is freshly loaded with options, and the gelato is great as well. For sure try the affogato and maple buttercream bars.

Its conveniently located in the middle of the city and is very classy inside. The cost of produce runs a little high. The Gelata here is delicious, I recommended the cotton candy flavor. Its not too busy and the employees are helpful.

Highly disappointed in my experience in Harmon’s this morning. Many of the shelves were empty (including meat and produce), and they were literally out of 1/3 of my grocery list. A cashier asked that I speak to a manager about this, and when I did, the manager’s response was “sorry” and walked away. I would have expected at least a “how can we make this right?” or “Here is a $10 gift card because we failed to meet your expectations”, but nothing was offered. This disappointed customer will return to shopping at Smith’s.

This is a very modern and fancy grocery store. They have a Chinese hot buffet style self serve and a nice salad bar that is available most of the day. They have deli, pizza, and togo prepped food for a quick lunch. They offer great quality but you feel it in your pocket book. There groceries are noticeably higher in price but Its expected in a heart of downtown store. They do have parking but Im unsure if they charge.

You have all these employees walking around with the hand helds for the online orders. Asked four store employees if your store carries Old Bay Seasoning. Each one of them, replied what is it used for. Seasoning for seafood, they said it would be by the fish counter. Walked over to the fish counter, no old bay seasoning. I walked back to the spice aisle, found the empty spot. There was a guy with the order hand held, ask if he knows when you might get it in. We get orders in every day but our order are always short. So I asked if he could check to see if they have it ordered. He doesnt know, because the device that he is carrying wont tell him that. Four employees I asked, never said let me find out for you. Awesome, customer service, impeccableCovid-19 is here and not going anytime soon. If you are in the customer service industry you should remember that the customer is still paying your salary. Stores have created barriers to protect their staff and the customer.However when the credit card machine is turned slightly, dont get irritate with the customer.Richard, you should remember that everyone that visits the store is paying your wages. Most of us dont like the way that we currently have to live, but it is for safety.Customer service is a very important factor of each and every company.

Came in Thanksgiving to last minute shop, because on their website, they have posted 6am-4pm. They were closed. Bad business practices. If you change your operations, let the public know so you dont waste their time.

This place is like walking into a dream! Absolutely beautiful store with a fantastic atmosphere and selection of fine foods and more! Ive never been so impressed with a supermarket before. Id go just to eat at the salad bar and feel the sensation of my eyes dancing all around me to the picture perfect product placement. You need to go and just walk through! Its awesome! Entrance is a little odd to find but thats about the only negative. Loved it.

This is the 3rd time in 3 months Ive found the nut butter station in disarray because there are no lids. Numerous people fill containers and then leave them (and the few other things they decide not to purchase) when they cant find a lid. The lack of attention to this creates a huge amount of unnecessary waste. After asking for help, I waited 35 minutes for someone to restock. She was apologetic but it shouldnt get like this in the first place.

This has to be the classiest Grocery Store in Salt Lake City! It definitely is the cleanest. The meat department is to die for with the juiciest prime rib steaks ever. This store cheers anybody up just walking through it. Each department is 5 star for sure. Check it out. I love the ambiance in it. Once in a lifetime experience.

Sadly my five star is barely a 1. I ordered 1/4 of a pound of lunch meats and delivered over 3 pounds each... $58 dollars later (which should of been $10) they refused to make it right, return etc. I wont be ordering online again or supporting them now that I can’t buy the rest of my groceries.... greatly disappointed you should of made it right Harmons. ☹️

One star is far too many stars for the treatment I got tonight. While the opinion of one person may not affect your business, I will personally make sure many more hear this story. I walked into this store this afternoon. I was stopped by an employee who requested I put a mask on. I explained to him that I have a medical condition that prevents me from being able to wear a face mask but that I wouldnt be in the store long. He proceeded to tell me that they didnt care about such things, I needed a mask on anyway. I told him Id appreciate if management would come talk to me about it as its discriminating to refuse me the right to shop based on my medical condition. The manager happened to be a few feet away and I explained to her that I have PTSD and cannot wear anything on my face. She said if thats the case Im free to shop online but that they will not allow me in the store. I then asked if that was a corporate decision or not. She told me her manager could come talk to be which I said was fine, Id be in the produce and not getting close to anyone. About 2 minutes later a man in a security uniform came over and asked what my problem with the mask policy is. I told him I have no problem, I just have a medical condition. He told me I could shop online which I said I wouldnt do. He then told me if I didnt leave hed phone the police which I invited him to do as I was within my rights to be shopping and continued on. The security officer then followed me around the store, gossiping loudly about me on the radio and even at one point told me I was free to shop around but they wouldnt check me out at the front. Once we got to the check out I walked away from the person I was with and stood by the door. My friend was masked and there was no reason to not allow them to checkout. Another manager (Nicki...Vickie maybe) approached me at that point and told me to leave the store. I explained to her I was waiting on the police at that point. I again explained that I have a medical condition, specifically that it was PTSD, and that I couldnt wear a mask. That refusing to allow me to shop freely was not OK. I told her Id wait right by the front door and asked if shed refuse service to anyone with any other disabilities (I specifically mentioned someone in a wheel chair) she kept trying to walk away so I told her she was OK to just walk away and figure I would just deal with the police at that time. This is when she became angry and told me I was never allowed in the store anymore, that I was being rude and demanded I leave. She walked away telling someone on her radio that once the police arrived she wanted me put in chains. If this is how your management acts then you should be ashamed of yourselves. How dare you treat paying customers in such a nature!

Harmons takes care of their employees AND their customers. Great store, just a bit pricey. Hot dogs that are $1 everywhere else should not be $2 at Harmons. Its the same exact item. Better prices would earn a 5 star.

Great experience!There was an opportunity for me to get something very yummy for the from the deli. The lady behind the counter assured me that that she could warm the lasagna for me because I didn’t have a microwave in my hotel room. She was very nice about it and made me feel confident that I would love it. I did love the lasagna. The grocery store was very calming and pleasing to shop in.

I really like this Harmons they have tons of great selections. For the grocery store. Plus they have an awesome great little coffee shop. And they do cooking classes. As well + have a nice sitting area so you can get coffee and just sit. Definitely a place to go. And its right across the street from City Creek mall with the underground walkway.

I love Harmons and have shopped here for years. However, I do not want to shop at a store where other people are allowed to shop without face coverings and are not following social distancing rules. Perhaps they should have an hour for the you cant tell me to wear a mask group to shop unbridled. Then, the rest of us who do wear masks, and no not want to get our friends and family sick can shop without feeling nervous. It is also very disrespectful to the employees who are working at the store when you dont cover your nose/mouth and keep your distance.I went to Whole Foods and they were handing out masks at the door. I will shop there until Harmons downtown comes up with a plan for those of use who would like to shop safely. I suggest No shirt, No shoes, No mask, No service.

Harmons is generally more expensive than Smiths by about 30-70 cents. That said Harmons has a better selection of goods than other stores and the quality of their store made take away is excellent. Their meatloaf is my favorite. They have pre-made loaded baked potatoes 🥔. What other store do you know of where you can walk out with a loaded baked potato. This particular location is down town and as such can be busy. It’s a nice store with a lot of options.

I once had my power go out and it was too cold to stay at home. I sat at the cafe and bought dinner and charged my phone as well... since I come so often they were so nice to help out. Have fun talking with everyone when I do come too.
