Very pleasant experience each time Ive visited this location to shop and donate clothing. The girls here are extremely friendly, upbeat and polite. They remember who I am when I stop in, and Im always greeted with a smile. The pieces are in great condition, with a variety of items to choose from. If youre looking to shop for decent clothing on a budget, this is the place.

Great store, makes thrifting super fun! They have lots of seasonal and trendy items, and the staff is friendly but not buggy. I love that they are plastic bag free. I highly recommend, prices are decent and clothes are in good quality.

I just wanted to look around to see what they had, and was asked to leave my bag at the counter. I have no problem with leaving my bag at the counter, but when I asked for my bag back. The cashier made a comment about how she was watching me and can see that I was just looking around. It made me feel like she thought I would steal. I have been working in the criminal justice system for years! It should not matter what my skin color is! I will never return to spend any of my money here!

Staff is friendly and willing to help when needed. Fitting rooms stay clean. Always a great shopping trip and I never leave empty handed!

Able to try on as many pieces of clothing that u want whith an abundance of dressing rooms. Nice styles & ggod quality r the norm here. I have found a lot of my key wardrobe pieces here since they opened!

I used to love this store. With the change in staff the atmosphere has become unwelcoming to some more than others. From entering my experience with PAYTON was unpleasant, no hello, (will others had over the top entrances and checkouts) and a attitude that suggested I was beneath her. She became agitated after asking the breakdown of my offer. From that moment I was meet with eye rolls short and snippy demeanor and whispering to coworkers. After completing my sale I informed Payton that she needed to work on her customer service skills. She told me I had another thing coming. Stood at the glass snapped her fingers and dipped. A sad attempt to mock by blackness!!. Totally DISTESPECTFUL UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE

Uptown Cheapskate is wonderful. The staff are extremely friendly. They are very engaged and regularly check to see if you need any help or assistance. The clothing prices are very affordable for what you’re getting and I’ve never had any problems buying from Uptown Cheapskate. I’ve sold clothes to them multiple times and always had a great and relatively quick experience.

Love this store so much! I get most of my clothes here for special occasions and for my job! I recommend this place to all my friends that want cute clothes for such a low price!

Great place to buy and sell. Always very fast waiting on customers, very through as the employees assist you and very helpful. Prices for items they sell are very reasonable and affordable. Not a consignment shop, they actually make you offers when you take items in the same day while you wait! I totally recommend this place!

Wonderful gem of a shop. We always find nice stuff. And the clearances are super good for budget items. I wish the mens section was larger, but I understand why it isnt. And the staff are bubbly and fun to be around.

The staff was excellent and the quality of choices was top notch! I sold many new items and was able to get lots of trad ins which helped me out and the store made out plus plus plus....great experience and recommend all to this location!! Definitely hold up to the name “Cheapskate”. Never give money for the items that are brought in, even if they are name brand and new. Small selection of XL clothing, on top of that there were clothes with stains on them. Never agree to let them “take your stuff off of your hands” and donate it because it doesn’t get donated, it gets put on the shelves!

The shop was cute and there were lots of options for everything clothing wise. The clothes were in good condition and has considerable prices. The store also has deals so u can always find different ways to save money when there. Since it was December this month you get get 15% off if your birthday was in December (by showing proof of course with your ID). Definitely shop here if you want to be more aware of where and how you shop to help the environment.

Awesome store with an amazing staff! This store is so beautifully arranged I had a hard time believing it was resale! There are some great new clothing options - I found a beautiful dress and very unique vest. Also, lots of accessories.. jewelry, scarves in every color and even bath bombs!

A lot of people are complaining about not getting enough money back for selling clothes but I was surprised the amount of cash I got back for my old clothes.They aren’t gonna give you a fortune for an old beat up shirt.Otherwise, lovely place and I buy clothes frequently from here.

Chances are, youll like something you find here. Its a hit or miss experience. Very cheap which is fantastic but no lower quality because of it. Its a little cramped, but what can you expect from a closet resale store? Selling back is a tough experience, as they will not take almost anything you give them and they do not offer you much in return-- but hey, theyve got a standard to keep.

Went in with 7+ Lacoste T-shirt’s and Jackets and they were only about to give me $14 for them... this was authentic Lacoste by the way. Would definitely never recommend trying to bring any clothes here for cash.

I brought in 6 bags with designer brands, never even used, such as Versace, Fendi, Gucci, North Face, Nike and Under Armor still with the tags on, and only got $45 in cash. i am very frustrated and will not be returning.

Unfriendly young millennials manning the store. Wouldn’t know quality if it came in the front door! The store is presentable but don’t bother bringing your clothes in because even if they do accept some they’ll pay you nothing for them! Wasted my time and they just stuffed my carefully pressed and folded clothes back in the bin!

Several times I have brought in very good quality clothing to this store (hollister, American eagle, forever 21) and been told that they cant sell any of it but the clothes on their racks are in way worse condition than mine. Ive seen clothes in this store that have pit stains, tears, and some even smell like smoke. Dont waste your time trying to get a good deal here.

Cheap quality clothes at high prices and sometimes priced higher than new!They make you wait and then say they cant accept your clothes because they are overstocked. They only gave me $11 for a leather Coach purse.I have tried 3 times snd wont be going back.I have done well with other consignment stores, but not this one. Save your money and get in on a good sale at a department store with higher quality. Used is not always less expensive!

They sell really nice clothes but if you expect to get a pretty decent amount of money for your items dont bother going.

They low ball people on excellent clothing... I brought almost brand new Levis jeans, true religion jeans, name brand watches, and brand new lebrons and various other name brand items... And after almost an hour and thirty minutes of waiting they said they only wanted the Nike Huaraches for $8!!!!!! I could NOT reccomend this place to NOBODY.. DO NOT SHOP HERE

I used to love this store, I have been going here for years ( Back when they had their old location ). They had some really cute stuff and even though it was hit or miss I never felt like it was a waste of time. Recently I have noticed that the quality seems to have REALLY gone down. Meanwhile the prices have gone up and, honestly, they are asking too much for USED clothing. I can go to H&M and get brand new stuff for the same price, or cheaper.In regards to selling to them: they have always been picky. However I felt like they honestly gave you a decent percent. Now Not so much.

Ive tried to sell my name brand, gently used clothing (GAP, Old Navy Aeropostle etc.) some literally with the tags on, twice. Not only was the staff engaged in conversation with other staff members, ignoring customers. I was told that they wouldnt take any of my clothing because it was out of date. Clothing bought this year. This place only sell cheap tattered off the back of a truck clothing. Dont waste your time with this unprofessional business. At least at Halo you are supporting something.

This is my 5th or 6th time coming in here trying to give them clothes and my bag of clothes had 3 really nice American eagle jeans that are worth 50 bucks EACH from there and 10 American eagle shirts. And most people shop at American eagle so you can do the math. 150 for just the jeans. And uptown wouldn’t even take them. They were in really nice condition and haven’t been worn much. Everytime I go in there they return everything and keep one thing or so. And all I see on their rack is Walmart shirts and wrinkly worn down shirts. See this is how you’ll lose business. Pretty sure I’d i went to Plato’s closet they would take more than uptown would. Miles well everyone go to marshals across the street since they have better clothes. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here. If you want to buy clothes then yeah look around but if you want to exchange clothes don’t even think about it. They will just return it all back to you. This place is terrible. Trust me this isn’t the first time someone said something like this I mean just look at the reviews. Basically says it all.

I started shopping at this store several years ago when it opened and I loved it. The selection was great, prices were reasonable. However, in the last two years or so Ive been very dissatisfied with the selection in store. Prices seem to have gone up and there just isnt much that I would find trendy. And selling back to them..forget it. I took in two decent sizes bags full of brand name clothes (Hollister, American Eagle, etc). They only took one item and offered me $3 for it. Meanwhile Ive seen Target and Walmart brand clothing on their ranks. Wont be selling anything back to them again.

Some of the workers are rude. They look at you weird some seem like they are there just for a pay check. Its not an okay place to sell clothes. they are really picky. And they dont offer what they said they do. If you ever go here dont because they dont take everything! My wife and i took clothes in there that have been worn omce or twice basically new. And they didnt take anything. Also took a new coach bag with tags on it and they only offered 5 for it when its a 168 dollar bag

Staff is HORRIBLE!! stood in a corner gossping. I was trying on several dresses, about to drop at least $100 .... I left my phone and wallet in the dressing room of the empty store, maybe 2 other people were in there . The girl saw me come out and go to a rack to get more, with in 2 min they took my wallet and phone and ALL the clothes I was about to buy...ummm why wouldnt you just let Some one in am UNoccupied dressing room?? They were all extremely rude!! I left . Not spending my money there!!!
