I took my boat and Evinrude motor to Dave as the motor decided it didn’t want to start. Couldn’t be happier with the service I received. This is a small shop with mechanics that are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Has the feel of shops out of my childhood where customer service and pride of work are still an important component in a business. I felt as though they truly had my best interest in mind, and though not warm and fuzzy they were very pleasant to be around, taking my uneducated questions and showing the patience to deal with me in a very fair manner. They are not cheap but they are well worth it. I wish them well as I will be back.

My first time to Sportsman Marine today they came highly recomended..I have a 225 Evinrude E-Tech need a tune up and just checked out..Came in under bid and the service was excellent the Tech spent a ton of time explaining the computer print out about my motor..I give it 5 STARTS for sure ....

This is the worst customer service ever! I called for the last month and he keeps saying next week. I give up I have given you my number 3 times and evertime i call you say next week. I will never recommend this shop. Will take my business anywhere else!

Great guys. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I came in for some cheap parts and they were willling to help me with all my tedious questions. I used to work in parts and these guys do a great job.

Yes the owner may come off as a little rude but from my experience this is the kind of guy that knows his stuff. So I went with my gut feeling and let him work on my motor for a few small things. I dropped it off on Tuesday and explained I was hoping to get it back by Friday and he said that shouldn’t be a problem. Two hours later I got a phone call saying the motor was ready. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of service and I feel the price he changed me was very fair.

Dave so knowledgeable and willing to do a job thats difficult for anyone- the trim motor r and r. He quoted a price and charged me a little less, plus he checked out my horn problems and repaired bad electrical connectors for free. When I offered more money he refused. Was at the coast, 1976 Evinrude 55 was finicky and starter not turning over. Called and talked to Dave. He told me to bring it in and hed look at it within a couple of days. I dropped the boat off and two days later, I had a wonderfully running Evinrude that I now dont have to panic about being that guy at the launch who cant get his boat running and out of everyones way! Thanks to Dave and Don, we were out in the Alsea catching crab without a hitch. Dave also gave me tips and secrets to my old but lovable OB. Thanks to you guys. These guys know old Evinrudes!!!!
