My hubby had very unexpected car issues at the most inopportune time. But he had been her once before and gave them a call. Despite it being a bigger issue than we thought, everyone and everything was quick, professional and quality. The lady at the front desk made my boyfriends day, she was funny and sweet and we thank you very much for getting us in and out of there so quickly, I know that wasnt easy!!

I initially purchased some tires online from Goodyear and Superior Tire Service, in Salem, was one of the closest locations where I could have the tires mounted, so I setup an appointment to get a set of 4 tires put on my vehicle. There had been a glitch on the website when I ordered my tires and I did not notice the wrong tires were on the order, until they pulled my vehicle out of the service bay and I noticed they were the wrong tires. I had ordered tires with raised white lettering on the sidewalls and these were blackwalls with black letters. I went inside and let Edna know those were the wrong tires. So, I went home and contacted Goodyear and explained what happened and they were going to have me go back to Superior Tire Service and replace the black letter tires with white letter tires. However, that would result in another appointment and spending another four hours of another day, so I opted to take advantage of the Goodyear price match guarantee; and Edna was helpful in getting the documentation over to Goodyear that they needed. During the service, the tire tech discovered I had a front brake caliper that was hanging up and let me know about that situation, accompanied by a quote to for a front brake job.

Efficient, in & out timely. Friendly staff..great after sale care of customers. Warranty amazing!Update 5/21 - sold & installed wheels that did not match my hub caps, without notifying me prior to installation. Tossed the hub caps for those on my front passenger seat! 😲☹

After a really bad experience with a terrible, dishonest mechanic, Ive been hesitant to trust another auto shop. But a friend told me about Superior a few days ago when I mentioned that I had to balance/mount a replacement tire. (Someone had intentionally punctured one of my tires in the sidewall.) Now with Superior, my faith in mechanics has been restored. And the companys name is accurate. Everyone at Superior is friendly and helpful. Their fair prices prove they have integrity. Im thrilled to have discovered them and they will now be my go-to whenever I need tires or car repairs. An extra shout-out to Brandon and Aaron, as well as the other guys who helped get me back on the road safely. Superior Tire Service provides superior service. (Friends know that I have high standards, so when I give praise, its legit.)

Excellent service today!!! We had already called at least a dozen tire shops and they all had said the same thing, they would have to order them in. Superior Tire Services were awesome they had our size tires in stock for our dually the lady said come on in and we left very happy. Good price, in stock, and it didnt take long at all.

Both people I dealt with on the phone were super nice and genuinely seemed to care about the level of service they were providing. One of which was Hector, who also was heavily involved in the installation of my new tires, and was just as nice in person. They had the tires I wanted in their warehouse up north, and got them shipped down right away. Then they installed them soon after they arrived which was a day earlier than Id originally scheduled. All around great experience!

This is my favorite tire place. 2 Mike Kirby worked here for 25 years, he was a lead in the cap shop. He recently retired, even more recently he passed away. Fantastic service got a nail in my tires I bought this summer. I took it down without an appointment on a Monday morning and they were able to fix the tire and put it back on my car for no cost. Absolutely cant recommend them enough. ☺️

My grandfather, and uncle worked for Superior back in the 80s. I take my vehicles there, and this morning, took my car in without an appointment. Edna and the rest of the staff have always been helpful. Even without an appointment, they checked my car for problems and addressed the issue it was having. I trust them, and I will continue to take my vehicles to them for maintenance instead of the dealers whos prices are outrageous. They do it all at Superior, and the prices are reasonable, and the staff is always very helpful.

Went into Superior tire today to receive a quote on some tires, didnt have the chance to get out of my vehicle before witnessing an older gentleman i use that term loosly back up a truck out of the shop and broke the mirror off. In his anger preceded to punch and hit the truck. Decided against getting tires there! Will not return and would advise anyone who doesnt want thier vehicle beat upon not to go either

Superior Tire Service, is the best in town. I will never go anywhere else in town. They have great service! The review about the knowledge of tires is mediocre, this person must have went to another place (they are a very successful tire company and they move a lot of cars everyday in and out of the shop, so they are doing something right). They have more knowledge then the average tire store. They replace a rack and penion and ball joints on my truck. Talk about customer service, they stayed open almost an extra 1 hour to finish my truck. Most other shops would have kept my truck overnight. For tires, they will tell you what ones are the best for your money. They carry all major bands in stock and at the lowest cost. The lobby is clean and they offer you coffee for free. They will always have my business and you should try them.

These guys were great. I had to take my work vehicle in to have new tires put on after getting a flat. They had the tires required by my company in stock. I had already been to one of their competitors and knew that I just needed two new tires on the front so thats what I asked them to do. It wasnt until I was getting ready to leave that I realized I hadnt told them one of the tires they replaced was a spare and that I needed that tire put back under the car. With nothing but smiles and helpful attitudes they took care of it in like ten additional minutes. Great attitudes and great service. 100% will recommend.

Ive had everything done here for my vehicle. I have had new rotors, calipers, new tires, and Ive even had them replace a flywheel and clutch. They have always done an excellent job and have always offered appropriate advice for how to maintain the 4 vehicles I have brought here. I go here for everything now. Its well worth any rate that they charge.

They had a same day appointment available and the price they charged me was exactly what they said it would cost over the phone. It was quick and easy. I cant comment on their prices since I havent purchased tires anywhere else, but they seem fair.

Always my go to alignment shop, they aligned a somewhat classic Honda for me and even stored it indoors because I was unable to come get the car that evening. Always easy to work with a quality work. They will tell you whats wrong if they cant align it so you can fix it yourself and save money then bring it back to get the alignment dialed in. Calling Monday to get another alignment scheduled for my truck.

Took my car in because there was vibration and a grinding noise. I figured it had something to do with the tires. Im about to trade the car in so I didnt want to spend an arm and a leg on repairs. They found the problem quickly, and it was a bad tire as expected. They had a spare in the back. They put it on, test drove it, and sent me on my way only having spent $40. It all took an hour. I had called the day before, an hour before closing, and they accommodated me with an appointment the next morning. What I really liked about this place is they didnt try to sell me on anything else, only what I went in for. Plus, without asking they fixed the shoulder belt that had gotten so tangled up, I had given up on it. In my limited interaction, they were courteous and professional. I definitely recommend these guys.

I bring all of our vehicles into STS in South Salem for oil changes and other checkups and weve never had a problem. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the waiting area is nice and kept clean. I feel they are knowledgeable and the prices are excellent even without big sales and coupons. I cant speak to major car repairs but for tires and oil changes and other minor services I highly recommend them.

This place was recommended to me. I was not sure what was going on with my vehicle. They didnt charge me to check out my truck. They were pretty fast and very honest with me as far as what was going on. He offered a lot of help knowing I was clueless on all the issues!

I wanted to get a lift ordered and installed and I was talking to the same employee for a day about the info on it.He was very respectable and kind but I didn’t make up my mind until the weekend when superior tire was closed. So I called back Monday and that employee wasn’t there when I asked for him. So I started to tell the new employee what I wanted and she wanted nothing to do with me. She cut me off and told me when that employee would be back. Which wasnt for two days. Ill go buy somewhere else then.

Superior tire service has routinely provided good customer service every time I have visited. I bought my first set of tires about 15 years ago and was very pleased. I have used their services for flat repair and miscellaneous tire services dozens of times since then and am always impressed. Most recently I needed to swap my summer tires for my winter tires on a busy/winter weather day. I called Les Schwab and Discount tire (both closer to me than Superior) and was told 2-3 hoir wait. Called Superior and they said they would get me right in. When I arrived they immediately got my truck in and I was on the road again in 20 mins.

Didnt have the tires in stock that I needed, soldm a set of tires that were an inch wider, said it shouldnt make much difference in the ride. Wrong!!! The ride is terrible. Also, tire sensor went out and they replaced it. Then test drove it and then said another one just went out. Coincidence? I say they were wanting more $$. Service was very distant and cold. Will go to Les Schwab from now on. Their service and products are what you expect.

Superior should not be in their name. I ordered some tires and showed up the next day to have them installed. They apparently were sold to another customer. So I drove to Costco and got the same set of tires for $200 less! Thanks for the savings STS.

Awesome service!. My daughter and I were recently driving fromTacoma to Las Vegas and needed to get the oil changed. Initially we chose this place because it opened at 7am and they could get us right in. They checked out the car top to bottom, didnt do the usual pressure sale for extra services, just let us know that when we got to Las Vegas we would need to have the leaking shock looked at. I truly appreciated their thoroughness and professionalism. If I lived in Salem this would be the only a place I would take my vehicle.

I would never recommend this place to anybody. The staff was rude, dismissive, & not very smart handling my car. Their knowledge of tires is mediocre at best & if you value your car, take it somewhere else. There are better prices & better service out there. Flat out will never go there again.

I was heading to Rainier Or for a Birthday Party As I was about to get oof I-5 my pick up was bouncing terribly as if a U-Joint was going bad. Thank goodness I was near the first Longview exit! I pulled into Columbia Ford and went to the service desk and they said they couldnt help tell the next morning It was like 2:15 P.M. I am saying Really Now! I proceeded towards the Highway And I see Superior Tire Store ON the left hand side my tire had blown out as I was in route from Columbia Ford< I saw they were pretty busy I went in and a nice lady at the front desk greeted me and introduced me to Joe, I explained my situation and he said he could get me in . It would be about 15 minutes. I had two tires already mounted to be swapped out with the two rear tires& wheels on the truck. They told me my truck was ready. I had asked how much I owed them And the reply was nothing, I was amazed and thankful. I want to thank you all at superior Tire Service For great customer Relations. Been going there a while now & have bought a couple sets of tires from them & today ruined it for me... The first issues I had was a few months back when I took my car in for a tune up & was told Id have my car back by closing time at the latest... Then I get a call telling me I wont get it back until around noon the next day(so not ok at all), but I let it slide... This time I take my car in for a new set of tires(2nd set from them), alignment & an oil change plus asked to have my brake light fixed... I take my car in & next thing I know were getting a call saying that the brakes are having an issues(awesome) well then its time to pick up the car cool... I get done there & I start driving my car home & my brakes dont work(they worked when my car was dropped off) so I almost crash trying to stop & have to use my ebrake so I dont hit the car in front of me... They claim I had air in my lines yet the dude hooked my car up & put fluid BACK into my brakes & I could stop just fine, but somehow they managed to completely take out my tail light(the one they were supposed to fix) when I took my car in to them the taillight worked, but the brake light in it didnt, but now the whole light is out & Im a driving ticket waiting to happen!! Thanks superior for almost killing me & making something worse instead of better & making me pay for it!! After you fix my light ENTIRELY tail/brake I will be done with your company for good!!
