I was told it would be over 800. To get my car fixed went 2 other places 450. And 550.i feel like I am a old women with no husband and you RIP me off. I will never go back. It took so long cause the guys in the shop stand around talking smoking.

Definitely saved my trip!I was on my way home to Houston and my tire’s air faucet broke and all the air was coming out. They offered to fix it for me for $25 (if fixable) $45 for a new tire. I was so thankful because I had my daughters with me and in the heat it was to much stress but they saved me as all the other tire shops were closed.Thank you so much!!! 😄

Jacob & Angel were a huge help on figuring out what was going on with my car, getting it in and fixed the same day. They were willing to work with me, after a different shop didn’t do the work properly. Their mechanic (billy) was very honest about what was going on, and he fixed the issue. I can’t say thank you enough for getting it back on the road!

I was traveling from Mississippi to upstate New York when I had a problem with my vehicle.I located Mr. Tire Auto Center In Salem Virginia. The employees there were extremely helpful in safely getting me on my way! The front desk and manager where friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The company should be proud of their staff! I called the shop early Monday to order a tire and set up a service appointment. Chris was really courteous to speak over the phone with. He took care of my request instantly. I could tell he worked hard to get the kind that I had requested.The next day, I called back to see if I can bring my car in. I got David this time. He was polite and made time to get my car in immediately.My new tire came with excellent services with lifetime warranty for tire rotation, balancing, and some other things.The workers at this place are awesome! I got a flat and was able to get an appointment scheduled with these guys extremely last minute, and they got me back on the road before my lunch break was over (less than an hour with no advance notice)! Super happy with the service I received.Important: You should still call first and make sure they are no too busy to be that quick for your own service/visit of course. I might have gotten lucky with the timing. My main point here is they took care of my blown tire in a very small amount of time and were very upfront and honest about their availability, and delivered on a promise to finish it in time!

I cannot sing their praises enough. I have been to their shop twice now and my wife has just recently took her car there. Definitely a staff that cares about their customers without any up selling like those other shops do. Not only did they bend over backwards to make me happy, but they gave the same great service to my wife without trying to take advantage of her simply because of her gender. Travelling from tennessee to maryland literally stopped at a different tire shop to get my tires fixed and driving down 81-N my back tire popped all tire shops were closed for the day mr tires was closing at 7 and as i was able to get off the freeway arriving here at 7:07 Ms.Angela G very politely gave me the details i would need but advised me that unfortunately all tech were gone a gentleman by the name of Jacob price who is also an employee at this shop didnt hesitate to ask if i needed help in putting my spare on he then asked me where i was going and i explained that i was heading back home and i had about 5hrs left he walked back inside and made a call he and Ms.Angela walked outside and opened on of the garage doors and said we are going to make sure u make it home safe and sound and they did exactly that they were amazing and very informative i am truly and beyond blessed to have been able to come to this location i have been to other locations and i swore to not go into another Mr.Tires due to poor staff attitudes but they honestly turned that 180 for anyone looking for great and exceptional service li promise this is your place. Took my car in for an oil change and was left walking. After driving 5 miles from getting my oil change my oil filter came off my vehicle thus causing my engine to overheat. When you need a car payment be sure to check these guys out!

Ive been to a handful of different tire shops. This place is the best. Chris and David are absolute phenomenal workers and make it their priority that you are taken care of. Ive never walked into a tire shop that had people caring more about you than a dollar. These guys have a standard of being first class with everything they do.

They have the best customer service and prices. These people have came thru for me multiple times. I cant stress how thankful I am of them for staying late and fixing my truck. Its difficult to find trustworthy and reliable mechanics, but these guys are second to none and wouldnt trust anyone over Mr. Tire Automotive. Always put our minds at ease when it comes to maintaining our two vehicles with any nature of work (mainly tyres!) - competitively priced. Totally recommended!!

My wife came into Mr Tire today for a state inspection. They needed to change a couple of parts and a tire. I had no problem paying for a service that is necessary. They changed right outer tie rod without doing the alignment. They charged me for a Yokohama tire and installed a Kelly tire. I went back to question there service and gave me the run around. I DO NOT RECOMMEND them for any work with these shady practices.

I was pretty impressed with the customer service. Brought my C5 Corvette in for plugs and wires. The mechanic was kind enough to let me bring in new plugs. I hate letting anyone work on my Vette but I would take it back there if it needed anything I didnt have time to do. They treated us right and we appreciate it💯 Its hard to find good honest mechanics, Id highly recommend them!

This used to be a decent place to take your vehicle for everything from oil changes and state inspections to tires and regular repairs. In the last couple years, the service has been horrible!! I have had a couple bad experiences but, I know of others that have had major problems with this place. Repairs done here will cost you double to have fixed. If you want more problems than you had when you got there, this is the place to go!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

I cant prove it , however , I am now looking for a new engine ..😢😢😡😡 I was going to Walmart doing the oil change and no problem, however because of Coronavirus they stop. And Mr. Tire on Franklin road couldnt do so I went to the Mr. Tire at Salem... .MY BIGGEST REGRET!!!!

Brought my vehicle in to put a part in that I already had but the problem quickly grew buy not without education from the team on site. We had a lot of problems getting the parts needed but communication was not a shortfall thought late a on information a time or two but never no info. Overall so far I have been treated great by this company and team.

Due to the circumstances currently, they’ve only got one tech and a busy shop, however they still were able to get me out in a timely manner. That says a lot about this shop and their work ethic! Hands down wonderful.

Traveling through Virginia and I started to smell radiator fluid. Stopped here based on other reviews and they were great. Very friendly and fast even though it was Saturday afternoon. They ran a pressure test and found that my 20 year old radiator had cracked. Ordered me another one and had me on my way in a little over 2 hours, thats including waiting on the new radiator to be delivered. Again very friendly and awesome job helping out an out of state traveler. Highly recommend this shop!

I just now had the chance to recognize The store manager Todd . Last Wednesday we were traveling through and had an issue with our car. Todd took us right in and had his mechanics look at the car. It was an easy fix and we were back on the road. They were extremely busy but put us right in. Thank you so much for helping us make it home safe

My husband and I were traveling back to Massachusetts when we discovered a nail in our front left tire. It was almost 8am. We had 11 hours to drive home left and time was precious to us. Imagine our surprise when they took our car in for service right away even though we could see many cars in front if us. We were out in less than 20 minutes. Our sincere thanks to everyone there.

Required two tires last minute. They were quick, accommodating, and reasonably priced. Happy with the service. Felt informed but not pressured to spend money on extras.

Mr. Tire in Salem did an amazing job helping to fix my car. My passenger door lock actuator was bad for over a year because the dealership wanted way to much to fix it but Mr.Tire got it fixed for cheaper and quicker than I was quoted at the dealership. The manager, Shawn, was super helpful and the techs were awesome as well. They were all so eager to help me get my car back up and running smoothly! Definatley will be using them again!

I decided to try this Mr. Tire after seeing many good reviews, so I am happy to write one myself. In the last couple of months I have needed my radiator replaced and the the air intake replaced. In both instances I had no appt, just showed up. They were able to fix my car that day both times. Nice, respectful guys. Delighted they can help me keep my 20 year old car going. Bonus: they are right beside Walmart, so can go wander around there if a repair will take a while.

My husband and I both brought our vehicles to Mr. Tire in Salem today, for an inspection and oil change respectively. Dean at the service counter was absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Lots of times I feel like auto service places will try to take advantage of people that dont really know much about cars and try to push unwanted or unnecessary services, and I did not feel pressured into anything here. The other employees I encountered were also very friendly and got our work done quickly and correctly. I will definitely be back to Mr. Tire for any auto services I need and reccomend them to everyone thanks to their incredible customer service.

Well I had called the day before, inquiring about an inspection. Mike told me to come in early, we open at 8am. Getting there Friday at 7:45a...going in at 8. I say Im there for an inspection , Mike tells me the guy who does it doesnt come in til 10am. Then I ask why he told me to be in early if his inspector isnt. Strike one. So then I come back @ 10:45a. Mike says it will be 45mins to an hr. I say....confirming...my car will be ready in about an hr. Mike says yes Mam.Okay I will piddle at the Walmart behind. I get back in about an hr only to be told they havent inspected it yet. Strike 2. They were busy. I ask if they were so busy...then why did he say it would be ready in an hr. Apparently my 20.00 inspection isnt as important as a more expensive oil change!! Strike 3...they are out. Never again!I go to the Mr. Tire on Orange Ave. They always treat me right!

Stopped in to have my rotors replaced. Todd let me know that they were low but I still could get some life out of them. They could have easily lied to me to get a very large sell. I appreciated his honesty tremendously. Not only was he honest, he sold me the most affordable tires even showing me the prices so I could make an informed decision. I wont be going anywhere else in the future. Todd has gained my future business and I have been spreading the word to all my family and friends. Mr. Tire in Salem is amazing.

I come to this garage all the time for my basic needs. I just took it for a bigger repair and got the best advice from an associate and I felt like he was genuine and really looked out for my best interests instead of trying to get a dollar out of me, and that is rare to find. My car is in need of a few more repairs and I will definitely take it there.

We have been traveling from Texas and headed towards Quantico. We have been met with nonstop rain and I81 not moving due to a multi car accident. We finally saw the light in the end of the tunnel and we were met with our check engine light turning on. We called multiple businesses and none could help us. We finally called one business and they referred us to Mr. Tire. We arrived to Mr. Tire and received nothing but the best in service. They were quick, friendly, and informative. They fixed the issue the vehicle had and we were able to continue to our destination safely. There have been many accidents along the route. If you have an issue take care of it so you don’t become victim of a potential unfortunate circumstance. Mr. Tire will keep you on the road. Must go to location for car maintenance or issues your vehicle may have.

These guys are rock stars - had both front wheel bearings blow out on a road trip to Washington D.C. and they were close by. Had us in, on a lift, and out in about 2 hours!! I dont even get that good of service at my own nissan dealer. I really appreciate them fitting us in and working with me on how to best fix my truck and get back on the road.

Went in for a alignment and they did not do well at all. It wasn’t that bad of and some what in specs but when I got the print out it’s off and not in specs. Plus the steering wheel is off. It sitting at 11:00 o’clock roughly. Took it back and still they couldn’t get it right. I would not recommend them at all. They do not know how to align a car.

These guys are well prepared and do above and beyond expectations. I was working late and had some issues with bad tires and they took me inn under my warranty and even stayed late to make sure things were right there work is fast also I was in and out in less than thirty minutes with a brand new full set of tires I 100% recommend these guys

Blown tire on the interstate and had to get towed. Had to Uber the family to Salem and to a different tire place. Wife calls and says they may not be able to get to it today. It’s 3pm and they close at 7pm. Called Mr. Tire just down the street. Explained my situation and they fixed us up and we were out of there and eating at Mac and Bobs by 6:15. Great staff and can’t thank them enough.

I had four new Michelin tires installed, a full synthetic oil change, new air filter and an alignment done here on Friday 2-15-19! Service was AWESOME! Todd is very friendly and professional! The employees there are very friendly and helpful. They get your car in and out as soon as they can. I took my van in around 8:30am before i started my 8:45 shift for a general inspection to find out everything that was wrong. They called around 12:00pm and let me know everything that was wrong and around 5:30pm my van was all done they fixed it in like 4 and a half hours. If anybody is having car problems i recommend mr. tire.

We are were out-of-towners from the Chicago area. The Monro Muffler in Salem, Virginia was amazing and helped us when we had an emergency issue. They got us in quickly, they were empathetic, and the quality of service was great. They even fixed our tire instead of replacing it; therefore, saving us a lot of money! Made an appointment online.which seemed a waste of time. Was there 2 hours to get tires put on. The guy who ran the place seemed friendly and had a lot of repeat customers that seemed very happy with the quality of the work... I didnt get the tires I ask for but was given a comproble set for the same price. I would return but probably drop off car and not wait.
