Brought my silver Cadillac there to have my bumper painted they went above and beyond the bumper came out immaculate they even got the fog off of my front lights and changed a light bulb for me. Cant say enough good things about this shop! A self-inflicted scrape on my front bumper, and I thought Id need to leave the car for repair. Not only did they buff out the scrape and lightly touch up the scratch in the paint while I waited (!) , the owner insisted I couldnt pay her. I did slip the artist who made he repair some cash, and I was out of there in less than a half hour. Salem Auto Body is a real gem of a local, family-owned business!

Fantastic service and great with coordinating information to insurance companies. Ive used salem auto body since 2018 for my past THREE accidents (none of which were my fault) the most notable experience was my first accident where my car was basically totaled, the entire rear driver side of the car was ripped off. I didnt have renters insurance at the time and it was a sorta hit and run incident, so I couldnt get coverage from the other persons insurance.. They were extremely understanding of my circumstances and allowed me to have a rental for free while they repaired the vehicle. I thought I was going to have to pay hundreds out of pocket for a rental but they really helped me out in a time where I needed it. Upon receiving my car it came back better than it looked when I first leased it! The following two accidents were much smaller but things were handled with the same care and attention I received the first time. For as long as I am living in salem / north shore I will be using salem auto body as my go-to mechanic and you should too!

I completely appreciate Corrin and her team at Salem Auto Body for helping my college-aged daughter with her recently purchased used Honda Accord this morning. We just drove the car over 100 miles to Salem yesterday from CT and noticed the car was making some noise at high speeds. So, this morning from home, I started researching places close to my daughters apartment that may be able to look at the car. After seeing so many great reviews, I called Salem Auto Body, but didnt realize they were not yet open. Before I could leave a voicemail, Corrin returned my call. I explained the car situation and she said although they may not be able to do the repair, my daughter could come in and have her mechanic look at it (whos awesome) free of charge, and this was after I asked what the diagnostic fee would be. I was so impressed and touched by Corrins generosity and kindness and, not to mention, her offer to have my daughter come in on a busy 4th of July holiday weekend! My daughter said everyone was so friendly and helpful and the mechanic instantly knew what the issue was with the car (exhaust flex pipe leak). They kindly referred her to a local exhaust expert (Andys Exhaust), who she will see first thing Tuesday morning. I am so thankful and grateful Corrin and her team were able to help my daughter out and would not hesitate to recommend them based on their excellent customer service, care and friendliness. The couple who run the place were chill and the dude Jason was super legit. Gave me a decent price out of pocket, and they got the job done quick. Came by for a quote on a Wednesday, dropped it off the next day and got my car back on Saturday morning. I think they cleaned the inside of my car too, and also left a bottle of touch up paint. Will come back again if need be, and hopefully get taken care of once more!

Ive been going to Salem Auto for years. Great service, great job,. And Ill be be going again this week. Customer service is always something that is so important to me , and they are great !!!

I came here maybe two years ago after a small accident. Right bumper and wheel were hit. Repairs looks good and no issues. A few weeks ago I notice my bumper is misaligned and popping out, chipping the paint and making a big gap. I look inside and instead of replacing the part with broken plastic clips, they used sheet metal screw to go through the bumper into plastic. Now I need to replace the bumper and plastic part they damaged with a screw. Charged the hitter’s insurance a few thousand dollars and tried to hide a poor repair job on my car.

We had a great experience with Salem Auto body. They were quick with responses and did a great job fixing the entire right side of our car that was hit. They gave us a rental car from on site and dealt with all of the financials without involving us (it was all covered by the other drivers insurance, and thankfully we didn’t lift a finger get it sorted). I would definitely go back!

Cant rave about this place more. They did work on both my car and my husbands and they did astounding work. They went above and beyond by fixing a few things we hadnt even discussed which was amazing. Their customer service is second to none and the prices are more than reasonable. Not to mention their work is flawless and they even detail your car! Whats not to love, they gained loyal customers with us.

What a great place! I needed someone to install a used fender on my 2005 Audi A6 after I crashed it. I called and the next morning we scheduled a time for it to be put in. Jeff and all the staff where super friendly and easy going not pushy at all. I waited at the shop while the work was being done, they had comfortable seating and coffee. After the work was done Jeff noticed a the chip on the door and gave me some touch up paint to make look better. I will be back to get the door dent fixed up once I get more money. Really great family operated place that will take care of you.I did notice that the fender is not perfectly lined up but that might just be because of the age of the car and it being a used fender. Ill ask Jeff about it, not to woried because they are very honest. If you need some auto body work this is the place to be! Will be recommending it for sure.

Bad news: Both of our cars got hit this year. Good news: Salem Auto Body. They did awesome work on both cars, and they were very easy to deal with. Two different insurance companies and both times they got adjustments approved when the original appraisals were too low. Gave us rental cars and our vehicles came back looking fantastic.

They did a great job replacing my front bumper. As I was driving away, they noticed my tail lights were burned out and replaced them without charge. They also greased the side sliding door and tailgate without charge. I appreciate such good customer service.

I needed a body shop after some a***ole swiped the rear right of my car while parked (and, of course, didnt leave a note). Salem Auto Body was close to home, and came highly recommended. And it didnt disappoint: First of all, Scott kept the bureaucracy to a minimum. Granted, that was easy, since there was no insurance coverage involved. Scott also found ways to save on repairs to make them as affordable as possible, since I certainly wasnt aiming for showroom condition. I certainly hope I wont need a body shop again anytime soon, but if it should happen, I wouldnt hesitate to go back to Salem Auto Body.

I remembered using them before when I lived in Peabody, but now I live an hour way and thought about going to another place, but still decided to go back to Salem Auto Body because their professionalism, car rentals onsite and more important, my car looks like it never had the accident!

Brought my Nissan Rogue in for an estimate yesterday. I highly regret bringing my car here for an insurance case. This all started in the winer when I brought my car that got side swiped by a tractor trailer to them with the insurance appraisal.They took a month to fix it initially. I got it back and the exterior looked great but my car still was not driving well and was loud. My dad looked under the hood for me to discover my axel and suspension were still completely in half!!! They tried to say it was not listed on the appraisal but it did on my copy and was the reason they deemed my car unsafe to drive which I had also verbally told them when I brought it in. The took it back to fix it and supplied me with a new rental since I had already given my other one back to Enterprise since they had said my car was fixed. My car has not been the same since I got it back and electrical things keep going one after another. Today I finally had to bring it to another shop because my hazards and blinkers went and according to where I brought it they told me the previous shop (here) completely screwed up my wiring when fixing the front end!! Also the icing on the cake was someone stole my bluetooth connector out of my car when it was in for the repair and now is going to cost me so much money! Overall just DO NOT GO HERE!

Its not everyday that you find a business that does great work and treats their customers like family. The staff here do just that. I think the shop is a family business thats been passed down through the generations, and you can totally feel that energy as soon as you walk into their office.I got work done to my car before trading it in, and the trade estimate went up $2K after Salem Auto Body worked on it. They even detailed the inside! I was sold after that and convinced my sister to drive up from Dorchester to get her car done there as wellIf youre look for an auto body shop that 1) does what they say theyll do, 2) charges you what they say theyll charge you and 3) takes pride in treating customers well - this is your spot.

Salem Autobody was amazing to work with, thank you! They replaced a damaged rear bumper on my 2018 4Runner AND aligned my front bumper - the front bumper had been replaced by a different Autobody group earlier in the year and looked horrible. 4Runner looks like new, they handed it back fully detailed and ready to go. Hopefully nobody else will hit me, but they probably will - and this is the only place I’ll trust for Autobody work in the future.
