My daughters engine seized up on her used car.I was in prayer to get a car for my daughter. From the time that I started praying I finally started looking. My daughter sent me a picture of a car from this dealer. I drove three cars, this being one of them. The dealer allowed me to drive two hours away so that my daughter who’s in College could see the car. She has been very happy with the car. I feel like she is in a safe car. The dealer went way beyond his call of duty to bring the car to my home. I am so incredibly thankful and happy for this answer to prayer. This dealer is willing to work with you as much as possible.

Sunny was incredibly helpful, communicative and was prepared when I showed up to pick up the vehicle. Process was quick and smooth, no frills or extras to deal with. Literally in and out, including the test drive, < 60 min. Sunny even went above and beyond for the finishing touch and I am very appreciative and grateful!! As a female I am always nervous when dealing with cars and salespeople of any kind but Sunny was polite, listened, and got me through the entire process with no mess or fuss. I messages whoever it is that runs their Facebook account about a car that they have that I really liked. And right off the bat they were rude. They would just leave me on read and really give me no information. Just a really bad experience, and horrible service on their part.

I bought a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer from this place in October last year. There has not been any issues at all with the vehicle. It has been very reliable, great on gas and no complaints!This was my first car purchase and Sonny, I believe who is the owner, explained exactly how the process works and gave me a really good deal on it. For someone who came from driving a 90s car, its super nice to have something that gets me wherever I need to go.I highly reccomend this place based on the deals and the wonderful service I was given.

Sonny is very friendly and give you a good price. He is helpful as well. I forgot to take my bill of sale to the dmv sonny promptly faxed it over to them. When something went wrong with the air conditioner on the vehicle we purchased, he gave us the part we needed. I highly recommend this place.

I had the great opportunity to buy a car from 81 Auto in March 2017. I looked at a 2008 Mercury Milan they had listed online and drove down from Lynchburg the next day to test drive it. I ended up purchasing the car the following day. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I was very comfortable from the minute I stepped in the door. I was also extremely impressed with the excellent customer service. We are currently looking for our second car and will be heading out to 81 Auto to see what they have. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend 81 Auto to anyone who is looking for a car or car parts.

Great service. Fred went above and beyond by calling me to tell me he had the part I wrote to ask him about. He even went as far as to tell me hed save it for me. Cant find that kind of service much these days. It was also the cheapest around but also new. Call Fred and you wont be disappointed. Except they do need heat in there lol I dont know how you guys stand the cold 😁

My family has bought 2 cars and many parts from this business! The parts salesmen had very good customer service, they were very knowledgeable, and they showed me a lot of respect. The dealership salesman were very honest and upfront, in fact if the car was repaired or if the car had damage it was the one of the first things they told me (not all of their cars had damage). We drove from all the way from Blacksburg to look at the first car because it was the cheapest price in the area. Overall would recommend them to all of my family and friends, great people with the best prices around!

I was promised something by one deadline, this promise was not met. I was then promised the same thing at a different deadline. This was also not met. I was then promised a third time it would be completed before end of day. This too was not fulfilled. Do not agree to anything from these people without explicit details written and signed.

They have resorted to needing to spam Facebook groups to sell vehicles pretending not to be a dealership.

Beware! I wanted to give them a good review, because we got a good deal on the HHR we bought and the father/son team were both very charming. We were told that the car ran perfectly and that there were no issues. However, not a day after we got the car, we started hearing a horrible rattling under it. Then, the check engine light came on a couple of days later. We took the car into the shop and were told that we needed to do $1000 in repairs, $600 of which was extremely urgent; apparently, it could cause the engine to blow up if not repaired ASAP. Since we spent almost all of our savings on the car, this came as a huge shock. These repairs will really set us back. I would be very, very wary about buying a car or a part from this business.

Seemed like I bothered them when I called & had questions...not very courteous and they dont even take scrap cars even though the website said they did. They recommended me to parts unlimited in Vinton and not quite sure if I will take them up on that recommendation

Sonny at 81 Auto Parts was very good to work with , bought a 2009 Chevy HHR from him and he was great to work with, I had 1 small problem after the sale and he took care of it as soon as he could ! and yes I would recommend them , they were honest and fair , very hard to find today . THANKS BOB

Horrible experience. Drove 2.5 hours to see Beetle convertible. Clarified condition of vehicle before traveling via several phone calls and was told by Sonny one fender was out of alignment and drivers seat was worn. Sonny was dishonest about the entire vehicle, which was absolute junk--too little space to say what all was wrong with the vehicle. This is a SALVAGE YARD where car parts are interchanged--do not trust them over the phone or in person. Absolute waste of time and gas!!!!!

I bought an engine from them on 10/24/16 they sent me blown engine I contacted them and then sent the engine back they were going to send another engine but I spoke to the employee and he said his boss said dont send it we can get more money they want another 400 for another engine I already paid them 1,050.00 for the engine and 400 to put in a blown engine I havent even gotten my money back they are awful money hungry people this engine was for my daughter in the army now she cant even come home on leave before she leaves for Korea for 9 months because she has no car
