Great store covering the North Natomas area. Skip the long lines and parking issues at the big box store and come here for your quick hardware needs. They are friendly and have most of your basic hardware needs.

Its great to have a neighborhood hardware store in North Natomas. It has probably 90% of the things that you might need, but no lumber. They have a nice selection of other things though. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because of some high price points with some of the items, and thought it was a little odd that the manager didnt want me doing a Google review. (So Im doing one anyway just out of principle). Other than the manager everyone is really friendly and helpful.

I went there to buy a base for my sun umbrella, and the people there are so lovely and kind. They helped me right away. I felt so welcomed. I think this will become my fav place, way better than other competitors in my opinion: I believe the human value in stores is the key.

I’m always surprised at how much stuff they have for being such a small location. I try to avoid going to the Natomas Home Depot whenever possible. Thankfully, this Ace is so close to my house and it’s always a quick visit. Much more personalized service. Thank you!!

Been here probably a dozen or so times now. Nice, helpful people - just like you would expect from an Ace Hardware. Great to have them in the neighborhood as an alternative to the massive orange place down the street. If Ace has it, do yourself a favor and buy it from them instead of the other guys, it will be less hassle and youll get friendlier service.

Bought a grill that wouldnt fit into my car. One of the employees used his personal truck to deliver to my house. When I tried to tip him he refused, saying he was glad to help. Great customer service.

Not particularly friendly or helpful in my experience.They could certainly use some training from the Folsom Ace hardwareUpdateStrike three and Im never going back there.I can confirm that the unfriendly not helpful attitude that the employees show come directly from the top.I went in to get something & employees were rude and not helpful in any way. I asked for the manager to talk to him and he showed that his leadership is followed at that location. too bad now I got to go all the way to home Depot.Its no wonder theres nobody in there ever. Hopefully they get with a program before they shut down to the lack of business.

Actually always enjoy going to this Ace, its close to my house so I dont have to drive all the way to Home Depot. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help. Hasnt been one time Ive gone in and didnt have at least one employee ask if I need help finding something. Gave it a four star because it isnt very big, so it doesnt have a very large selection, but it will get the job done most times if you just need it right now and dont wanna drive very far from the Club Center neighborhoods.

This hardware store is just what Natomas needed. The store has the feel of a small-town mom-and-pop hardware store, but with prices that reflect the discounts afforded to the larger chain stores. I recently purchased a lawn mower. The first thing that happened was the great deal I got on it. It was much cheaper than what Home Depot was offering. Unfortunately it was defective. The owner John provided a refund with no hassle whatsoever. You can be confident if you purchase something there, he will stand behind it. If you need help finding something, help is literally always just a few steps away. All of the staff are enthusiastic and cheerful to deal with. PS if youre looking for a great deal on Roundup, check out the active ingredients on the Ace brand of concentrated weed killer. It is the same as Roundup, but in a slightly less percentage. At a quarter the cost you can afford to add a bit more to make up and still be way ahead

Upon entering the store I was aggressively asked to get rid of my Kaiser shopping bag. I asked if it was okay for them to put it behind the counter because my window wont go up. A firm No was the response. So as Im exiting another women with a similar type of recyclable shopping bag enter the store with the same man standing right were he was when I entered, but this time the it was a greeting in the most welcoming demeanor. Needless to say Im offended.

When this Ace Hardware opened up a while back in Natomas, I was very excited to have a local hardware store. We redirected as much of our household Home Depot shopping here as we could to support this small local business. But we just had the absolute worst experience here when we bought a Craftsman shop vacuum from here. When we unpacked it and tried it out, we both were very disappointed in the quality and suction power of the vacuum. It was very cheaply made and not worth what we paid for it. We decided to return it. Back at Ace Hardware, we were told by the owner/manager they have a policy now that any open box item cannot be returned unless it is defective. (We were not told of this policy at the time of purchase.) The owner/manager said it was not Craftsmans policy, but his own policy.Nevertheless, to us it did not work well, so we told him it was defective. That was not good enough - he said he had to take it out of the box and try it out to prove that it was in fact defective. Yes, embarrassing for us the customers. (And for him too I would think?) When he realized we were getting upset (he called it attitude), he decided to refund our money, because he said realized we werent told about this policy at the time of purchase. But thats not the end of it. He then told us HE WOULD NOT SELL US ANOTHER VACUUM. Well, that wont be a problem - he wont be selling us anything else again. Back to Home Depot we go.

Everytime I purchase something upon entering the store they ask me to put my bag on the front as tho Im going to steal something.. you cant browse without being followed .. and the staff is too over bearing.. well I noticed if your a younger looking person of color such of myself that those actions seem to be their practice.. makes you wonder .👎

Feels strange in there. I think this stores anti theft tactic is to stand right at the front doors and say hello to people whenever they walk by, in, or out. I only come here if I have to.

Got to this place745pm on Friday nite 15 min before they closed and they were already closed. There were 2 employees inside and about 3 other customers showed up aswell.

Very friendly and willing to help. In addition I bought the wrong product and after trying to help me find the right item, they had no problem with the refund.

Finally! Im so glad Ace opened up 3 blocks from home. Its perfectly convenient for homeowner DIYs. Best of all, its smaller and quaint that I can quickly go in, find exactly what I need for my project without having to spend hours competing with contractors . No crowds to deal with so the personal service and friendliness is what I expect and want from my good old traditional neighborhood hardware store! =)

Its unfortunate, they put their vendors ahead of the customer. They said they could help me out, but put me aside to deal with other more important company issues like unloading a truck. I guess multitasking isnt their thing. They lost a sale and a customer. Home Depot here I come. And that isnt saying much.

White man, approximately 35-45yrs old, possibly store manager. Told me that I had to leave my bag behind the counter before I was allowed to buy anything from this store.
