Shams market is the best at Sacramento area. The biggest difference they are making with others is their creativity. They have created Afghani original Kabob recently. Its so delicious and highest quality same as Shar-e Naw kabobs in kabul. Their best customer service and friendly behavior is an extra.

Same as other afghan stores. Nothing special about it. Its very dirty, everything is thrown on the floor. The person on the counter (Haji), answered few of our questions but whe he saw we bought one two items, his behavior/customer service got worse while checking out. 1 star is only for that two questions that he answered.

Keep your eyes open!They counted 4 dollars extra of my purchase and when I caught him he excused himself for making mistake; however, someone had already noticed me to be careful because they make this type mistakes 🤐It happened on January 2019.

Fake star is no good star, the owner ask the customers to give them 5star, which is not fair, let the customers to choose their own. and second thing they always steal from your purchase, make sure to take your receipts at all times after purchasing and check one by one how much they charged you.I say again Fake star no good star. Please dont begg the customers to give you 5Star.

Man the amount of ethnic spices they have is phenomenal. I got one of the currys and made a really good Indian dish with it. My wife loved it!! Also you have to try their fresh bread. Make sure you get it when its nice and hot, it might be a struggle to get through the line but once you do and try a bit of it, itll melt in your mouth!!!

I love this place, they always make the afghan bread fresh and warm. Its always so satisfying eating it when it first comes out of the oven. My favorite thing about this store is the staff, theyre always very helpful with anything I need and always make shopping at a store with so many options that I cant find in many other places so much easier!

I went to Shams Market earlier today and had a great experience. They have the best afghan bread in town, and trust me Ive tried a lot of afghan bread. This is also the first Afghan store were Ive seen the workers in nice professional attire, something I appreciate when going to places like this.

Shams Market is by far the best afghan grocery store to take the whole family. My kids love going there and the owner is so nice, he treats all of his customers like his own family. Most importantly they always have great Halal meat options.

We called this place to enquire about prices. The guy who answered was very rude and hung up saying he does not give prices over the phone. Very nice business manners! Please don’t call yourself a halal meat store when your manners reflect otherwise.

By far the best halal grocery store in the area, the staff are very kind! They recently expanded so the store is much larger now. Also something to note, their bread is a must try. The loafs are huge and its always hot and fresh for only $2 you get so much value.

If you want to buy groceries unbelievable expensive go to shams market. I been there couple time but 1 day I was looking to the cashier how he was charging infect he was the owner of this shop i was like oh my god mostly groceries are double expensive then othere place and i ll never go to that store .

I really just go there to walk around when i want to pretend travel to another country. Sometimes I also move through the aisles to the foreign music playing overhead. Like thats obviously how the culture approaches shopping in general. Last time, I caught the beat in the middle of the cookware section, by the catering sized serving dishes and open box of broom/dust pan combos for 7.99.

It is convenient and easy to shop in this store . everything is fresh and good price .

Oh my God, such a disgusting place. The cockroaches are everywhere! I heard from people before that the owner would charge extra on items. Then I experienced what those people experienced, the owner charged me extra for an item wth. If there were a 0 star review I would give this store a huge 0!! Terrible, do not come here.
