Best place in Sacramento for legitimate workout equipment. Victor the owner is knowledgeable and friendly. His delivery guys just setup equipment in my garage and they were professional and awesome.

Victor truly kind man that really cares about his customers. Since 2018 I have bought 5 pieces of equipment with Julian and Craig putting the equipment together and delivering. Those guys with Fred and outstanding!!! Dottie is also great and very helpful in finding a the right equipment for your needs.If there is anything bad about this place it is a person by the name of Martin. Martin is the delivery/put the equipment together guy that the owner Victor recommendeds. He is arrogant with a little cockyness to his demeanor. He needs to be more humble and learn how to provide great customer service like Julian and Fred do.

Had never been to the store before but a friend of mine from the gym I work out at recommended the place. They had exactly what I was looking for in a recumbent exercise bicycle. I was pleasantly and professionally assisted by Dottie who patiently explained and reviewed the essential features of the bike. She ensured that all was good and managed the delivery process which was also handled exceptionally well by Julius and Fred. They showed up right on time, and then took their time making sure that I understood how to operate the accessories. The entire process, from beginning to end, was handled flawlessly. It is always a treat to do business with people who understand what it means to provide superior customer service.

We recently purchased a Matrix Climbmill, but had an issue with the console. Victor at Sac Exercise took care of it for us with no problem. Excellent customer service!

Victor found the perfect treadmill to replace our 35 year old treadmill and gave us a great price. His two installers explained everything very clearly and did an awesome job!!

Went during pandemic to see treadmills. Their prices were the highest in comparison to other stores I visited. I went in person to get a feel for the different features but the specs were not listed on most of the machines and you could not get on them to try.

We’re repeat customers of Sac Exercise and have purchased about 70% of our home gym with equipment from there. The most recent large purchase was a TuffStuff AXT-225 home gym. It’s an all in one machine and we paid to have it installed by their team. The communication was great as well as the installation. We are very happy with our purchase!

Great place to get your exercise equipment.

I walked in to price a inner outer thigh machine.We had to call to have it approved on our card. While there I found some weights for $28.99 and decided to pick them up. I waited in line while the clerk helped someone else. A guy doing a returned walked in the store after I was waiting in line for 5 minutes and she helped him first. I was giving you money and he was taking your money and I had waited longer. First rule of business is help the paying customer first. If I’m treated like this for $28.99 what am I to expect when spending $2,000.00. I left and won’t be back.

What an incredible home gym equipment store. They have everything to create your own gym at home from a stair climber, treadmill and a 200 Lb max machine w/over 30 different exercises. You can find most of this equipment at 24 hour fitness and they carry bands and rubber cables through go fit. So go and check it out

Their staff has always been polite, courteous and eager to help even in these crazy times when they were dealing with equipment shortage and stuff. Stopped by the store 10/1. When going in, I was immediately greeted and asked if I had any questions. I refused help simply because I wanted to look around first. Then, after looking around, I began to ask the representative a question but didnt see her on the phone so I waited until she got off. While waiting, another woman approached her counter *after* me and even asked me if I was waiting to speak with the rep. of which I replied, yes. When the representative got off the phone, she addressed me first and after asking her but only 2 questions regarding what equipment will help with my core and arms, she asked if I didnt mind her showing the other customer where something was. I told her, under the impression that all she had planned to do was show someone where something was, I was ok waiting. While waiting, the other customer and her partner began asking SEVERAL questions causing me to have to wait to be helped for a long time. I eventually told the only other representative in the store that it was rude and left. Someone else saw the entire ordeal and honestly, I felt it was important to get my frustration out via posting a review. The lady did seem nice but its common courtesy to take the customer who came first. If she went beyond showing them where the product was, its also her job to apologize to them and explain why she must attend to me. This was literally my FIRST TIME AT THIS STORE AND WILL ALSO BE MY LAST.

These people do not publish a staffed telephone number. You can only get a recording. I was planning to purchase several thousand dollars of equipment, but apparently they cant be bothered to talk to me. Fortunately, not the only game in town, or on-line.

This is the place to go for exercise equipment. Kettle bells...check, mace bells...check, Indian clubs...check and Olympic weights galore. Given the current situation theyre out but they keep you updated on their inventory on their recording. The employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable.

We purchased a nice, efficient Horizon Fitness Treadmill from Sacramento Exercise Equipment Center in October of 2006. We had it serviced for the first time, in a timely manner, May of 2010 (under our extended warranty). The unit stopped working a second time, in March of 2019. I called and spoke with the Owner, Victor, who answered the phone. The next day, Bill, an excellent service rep, showed up to our Grass Valley home & replaced a few burned out wires. The service cost was extremely reasonable; service excellent. And keep in mind, this was TWELVE PLUS YEARS after our initial purchase, from the same Sacramento Exercise Equipment Center!! When our treadmill stopped working, we called... and were up & running (well, walking) the very next day. Thanks, Everyone!!

We just made a >$5,000 purchase. The delivery guys were fantastic! Our sales person was amazing! Unfortunately they didn’t have the 50 pound dumbbells in stock and we weren’t told until the delivery crew showed up! Happy with our purchase, guess we just gotta wait a bit longer?

I went in with a limited budget to upgrade our fire stations gym. They went above and beyond to find the best bang for my buck. Excellent customer service, the owner even came out to help us load everything. Thank you, Chris for all the help.

Went in there for a treadmill. Spoke to Victor (the owner) definitely knew his stuff. Got an education on treadmills and walked a way with a new treadmill (not literally - they delivered later). Great store, its huge, lots of inventory. Would highly recommend. Thanks Victor.

Im pretty sure if they dont have what youre looking for, then you dont know what youre looking for. This place has it all! As you can imagine, an exercise superstore isnt a frequent stop for shoppers, so its not crawling with sales employees. Even so I was greeted by James (I think his name was, sorry, Im terrible with names - strawberry blonde hair) promptly, who was happy to help me choose my first bar. He was knowledgeable in the differences between the different kinds of bars, their strengths and weaknesses, and the benefits each provides for the type of lifting theyre used for. He helped me choose one that Im pretty sure is going to last me the rest of my life, and whoever inherits it afterward at a price I was comfortable paying.

First off I have to say that the products and selection are amazing. A little pricy, but amazing all the same. However, that means very little unless the customer service is equally amazing, which sadly, isnt the case here. Granted, the person behind the counter was assisting another customer and had his nose buried deep in a keyboard when I walked up to the counter - I recognize that. But to IGNORE me - I mean literally, to not even acknowledge my presence in the store while standing two feet away is like being invisible. I had to interrupt his typing to ask a simple question - do you guys have mats? His reply, yep! No follow up to say where they were located, nor did he even look at me or have the courtesy to say, Ill be with you shortly – just Yep! So I hung around for about 10 minutes or so while he had a (very pleasant) conversation with his other customer. But when he walked past me a couple times to return to his keyboard shenanigans, there wasn’t anything as much as eye contact made. I guess my first and critical mistake was to say the word, ‘mats’! I’m sure that translated into, ‘small sale’. However, what he didn’t know was how many mats I wanted to buy – big mistake on his part. I drove 30 miles from Auburn (60 round trip) to load up my jeep with at least what would have amounted to $250 to $300 worth of mats - given the overpriced rubber in this place. At about the 15 minute mark however, I couldn’t take anymore and just walked out of the store. On my way out, I happened to notice someone in a back room and wondered if that was another sales associate – one that he never called onto the floor for customer assistance. For what it’s worth, I’ll never visit this place again, even given the selection. Mats weren’t the only thing these guys lost out on, because they were just start of things to come. I still have to decide on a treadmill, a bike, free weights, and other items for my home gym – items that will all now be sourced from another vendor.
