They did a great job installing a new garage door opener but its their customer service that really sets them apart from most other companies. A live, friendly person answered the phone (so no waiting for callbacks that never come), they gave me a quote, set up an appointment and showed up on time. Its apparent that they value their customers as well as the quality of their work.

Overhead Door of Sacramento is one of the best businesses we have ever dealt with. We had them replace our old garage doors recently. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Zach came over and looked at the job and gave us recommendations on the different options available to us. He sent us the bid later that day which offered various configurations and broke down the costs for each. The bid on the project was very competitive. We had some bids that were much more costly.Once we made the order, Zach gave us the projected date range for installation. They called when they said they would to schedule their crew to do the installation. We had three doors replaced so we werent sure if they would finish in one day, but they sent a couple of guys so the installation was done quickly and professionally. This was a great experience for us from start to finish. I recommend Overhead Door of Sacramento to anyone who needs a new door or needs repairs done.

I MADE THIS REVIEW PREVIOUSLY IN ERROR. I APOLOGIZE AS I POSTED THIS REVIEW WITH THE WRONG COMPANYEXTREMELY RUDE COMMUNICATING with them with a duel gates opening mechanism estimate. This was after my stating that their rates were extremely high and not competitive. I was told that their business was not a charity. They stated exactly “OLD MAN YOU SHOULD GO FISHING”. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO TALK TO ANY CUSTOMER. THEIR ADD ON FEE OF $500.00 FOR DOING FOUR TACK WELDS I FIND ALSO TOTALLY RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. THEY DID NOT LIKE MY REFERENCE THAT THEIR MATERIALS PRICE WAS MARKED UP ALMOST 100%. WE GLADLY TOOK OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Disrespectful and disregard for local noise ordinance.Labor day weekend, started banging at 7:30 am Saturday and Sunday mornings! Inside an HOA community and Failed to provide advance notice to ALL residents.Regardless of quality of work, customer care concern is non existent with this vompany.

I made the appt five days before I HAD to have my truck out of the garage. They assured me theyd be there. Nobody showed. Nobody called.

Our Garage Door was catching on the dry wall when it started going up. On Friday, we called Overhead Door to arrange an appointment to have it worked on. The first opening was Monday between 11am and 1pm. No one showed up nor did anyone call us to cancel. When we call them to find out what happened, they told us the technician was sick and we would have to move the appointment to Tuesday. We could have made arrangements and Tuesday could have worked if Overhead Door had called us prior to the appointment time. In stead, they wait until we call them to cancel. If you call your employer hours after you are suppose to be at work and tell them you couldnt come in because you felt sick, how long do you think you would be employed? This is why I gave Overhead Door a 1 star rating.

This is a great company with excellent staff. They are very kind and take the time to answer your questions. They are very knowledgeable and even pay attention to the new laws coming out for California due to all the fires from the past few years. I highly recommend them!

I called over there today and got hung up on. So I called back and was told that no one can help answer any of my questions. but! I can leave a message on the person who could answer my questions answering machine. So I did! It said leave your name and number. I did that. Oh and the person said the call will be returned between 8 am and 10 am. No call back to me. I then called back to the store to get a hello. I then explained what I wanted and got a number thrown in my ear and nothing else more.HOW COME THIS PLACE HAS SUCH A HIGH STAR COUNT ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. CAN ONE BUY THE STARS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...

My garage door spring broke and I needed a new one. So you have 3 options have a company replace it which is the most expensive. You can buy it online but if it’s the wrong one it’s a hassle. I choose the third option to purchase from overhead door. They were helpful with explaing how to do it as well as making sure I got the right product. The best part was their was no wait to receive it. They actually make them there. It took less then 10 minutes. I’m very happy with the product and service. Would definitely reccomend overhead door if you live in Sacramento.

Called and made an appointment with Zach, 1 day later my door was replaced.Great job by the team of Overhead Door of Sacramento.I originally purchased a garage door from Home Depot (HD) and for over two months attempting to get my garage door installed. HD contractor fired me (HD - Haney Garage Door) as the client for asking when my garage door would be installed after it sat in the receiving warehouse for 1 week no contact. WOW!, I attempted to resolve my installation issue with many trips to the HD store meeting with multiple managers and calling to follow up with no return calls. It seamed no one cared about the customer and after two months I had enough. Zach from Sacramento Overhead Door called and came out the next day and the following day the door was installed in under 4 hours. I purchased an insulated door with windows and installed the battery back up option for code compliance.In summary the big box store HD wanted no ownership in assisting with customer satisfaction and resolving contractor network issues they have. Their contracting network management process is broken (No Ownership and no depth of garage door installation contractors), I would recommend saving you sanity and just call Overhead Door of Sacramento for your garage door installation and service need. This is not a paid endorsement and could never make up the experiences I had with HD in attempting to get my garage door installed.
