For this sheltered suburban Midwestern white chick my first visit here was culture shock - a little like teleporting into another country! I mean...a whole aisle for flours, pudding mix and starches?! (I popped in to get corn starch, didnt know there were so many other kinds besides corn!). I snagged some tasty Sky Flakes crackers on the trip through checkout. The baker in me really has to come back to investigate! 🥖🍞🧇🥐🥯🥣

I love this store it’s just I found mold in all of my cheese corn dogs : / You must be thinking “oh it’s not a biggy”, but trust me there is a lot of mold on there I just couldn’t show. also, please continue supporting them but beware of the mold.

It is very cheap and you can find a lot of Asian items here without having to drive as far to Stockton blvd. The place does lack some higher end foods. It is also is not always organized well.I do like going here to get a lot of great veggies or fruit for some of the best prices outside of a farmers market.

Exceptional variety of meat, fruit and vegatables. Fried fish is a staple and beer is crazy cold. Take your girl on lunch date and tailgate w fish and beer sooo good!

Gots all the Asian noodles my kids like. Udon, Mama Noodles, Rice noodles vermicelli, mung bean (cellophane) noodles, and rice flour and tapioca starch for kapia.

I went there to buy fresh crabs and was blatantly ignored. I asked for two crabs and the man gave them to me. When I looked at them there were kind of small. So I asked for another one and the man said you already have crabs. So I had to ask if I could buy another one and he gave me another one with a stank face. Aw yeah.....I am an African- American.

SF Market is a great place to buy anything you need from fresh fish, crabs, vegetables, chicken, condiments & all kinds of groceries, fruits, rice & a lot more.

Great prices and huge selection. Smells terrible but I suppose its all the fresh seafood. Mostly friendly staff, but not much English, so I try to go in knowing exactly what I need.

This place is nice. They have a hot food area, a seafood area, etc. My favorite thing to get from here is mochi ice cream its delicious

I come here for oysters

The store is opened but masks are required to enter. A handwritten cardboard is posted to the entrance doors and theres a security guard to ensure. Dont see any provision if you forgot/left your mask at home so be prepared. I came in looking for lotus root to make soup. They do have them but the items were all darkened so they were not fresh. Decided to buy something else to make soup. Walked to the meat section to buy some ground pork but it was pretty fatty so asked if the meat guy will grind some lean to mix the two up. He said no so I walked away.The other thing that was odd is the PA sound system was blasting music in Vietnamese. Thought this is a Chinese supermarket. Lol

Masks are mandatory and thats a plus. The place sort of have a smell to it and a very pleasant smell. Employees dont speak English and I have a hard time finding what i need because i have to look for it all over the place. Employees are not friendly at all. Ill be returning to shop from time to time.

Only got the hot food today. The dim sum is okay but they were open and wife wanted some for Mothers Day. ABC is better but didnt want to stand in a long line.

It has excellent customer service, especially if you speak their language. (If you see a lack in great customer service then try showing a little bit of extra respect for them, their profession, and language. Hope it helps!) Great food selection for both the elderly and children.

SF Market on Mack Rd. Please sanitize n clean those restrooms. With this pandemic going on u would think that it would b a number one priority to always have their restrooms cleaned daily n disinfected for health n safety reasons. 😷

They have live seafood and frozen fresh seafood as well. I prefer shopping here for meat and seafood because the quality and freshness is way better than other Asian supermarkets around. And they also have a hot foods section too as well as an herbal pharmacy section.

Nice market with food from a variety of Asian countries which is good! Could use a little more food from Vietnam however. Has a good supply of cookware and tableware! There is also 2 places to eat inside for those who want to eat before or after shopping.

Great food. It kinda seems like that if your not Asian the staff is borderline rude & dismissive. I hope my comments are not inappropriate, thats just the way I see it after having purchased take out food & goods there.

Decent Asian food market. Good produce, nice variety of fresh meat, poultry and fish. BEWARE!!!! If you dont speak Vietnamese, youll be treated like an outsider! But if you really want to get the good prices on their produce, just ignore their lack of customer service skills!

If you need anything related to Asian cuisine this place will have it. Excellent seafood selection great produce. Need that one unique spice they will have it dried noodles its there.

Stopped by this Asian supermarket after eating at Taste of Angkor next door. Big and reasonably clean. Variety of Asian food. Fresh produce at reasonable price. Slow check out!

Great variety of eastern and western products, though of course it is predominantly eastern. Store is organized and clean with friendly staff. Great deals on kitchenware and dinnerware too.

My wife was looking for some coconut milk so we went to Ranch 99 as thats where we often shop but at $2:19 for a little can, that was too much we went to SF & they had it for less than $0.70 so we got three cans and it was really nice I mean we looked around and it was a nice market clean well-lit you might check it out for yourself

Lack of customer service at both supermarket and deli. Deli will almost aways load twice the amount you ask of the roast pork. Their business can do so much better if management knows how to train employees.

I was in the area so I thought Id give it a try.This place isnt cute on the inside. At all.Kind of dated and old, but and cold.Maybe Ive been shopping at Ranch99 too much. This place have a cute little beauty store inside with make up and 2 really nice ladies who work there. I bought some make up brushes but ended up looking like I had a beard when they proceeded to shed hairs allover my face when I used them. 12 bucks, I should have known better.I went for my standard Asian store stuff, bok choy, seafood etc... Wasnt really happy with the prices and the shopping experience. So I didnt buy a lot.I was gonna buy some of the cooked food but its kinda confusing figuring out which line to stand in and how to order. So I ended up at Ranch99 anyway.So much for that adventure.

The employees are so rude...they dont care see you standing there waiting .......they dont even smile or offer help......really bad service!!!!

Come here occasionally for vegetables, meat, utensils, hot food and various drinks. They appear to have everything I came looking for. Prices are reasonable. This is the second grocery store open under this name. First one is on Stockton Blvd & 65th Way.

I went shopping with my grandmother, its a nice open space for you to find a diverse array of asian market meals, foods, snacks, and drinks. Whether raw, precooked, preprepped, or cooked.

I went to store today 3/28/19 5:40pm. One old lady looked about 55 years old in front of me asked for cigarettes and the cleck asked her for ID she didnt taking Id with her they refused selling her cigarettes. I want file complain the young boy in charge refused to giving me his name. My question is that how business running in America? When you asked manager name to file complain they can refused to give you their name? Is this legal to ask older people id when they want to buy cigarettes or alcohol ? Is this legal the manager can refuse to give you their name when you want to file the complain (he doesnt wearing his name tag)?

Family lives in Elk Grove; we shop here often growing up because they have a great selection of (Asian) fruits and vegetables. Less people here now after 99 opened up.Three kingdoms of grocery shopping: SF for veggies, 99 for hot food, Vinh Phat for meats! Family usually goes to just SF and 99 (and Costco) since Vinh Phat is farther away/in Sacramento.Edited note: FYI, SF is Chinese, people speak Cantonese (not Vietnamese)! My family knows Mandarin but Mom can speak both. It seems a good amount of workers can speak English too.
