This store is an embarrassment to the CVS corporation. The parking lot is gross, but better than the filthy sidewalk outside the entrance. Overflowing trash cans. Dirty windows and walls. Disorganized store, and prices are more expensive than other pharmacies. The store managers obviously take no civic pride in this CVS, and I wonder what corporate would think if they paid a visit.

Ruined my entire schedule had an appointment set up for 11 am COVID test, whole family waiting and they said their testing lady didn’t show up. Been 3 hours now still waiting to receive my test kit since it’s self administered. I have a flight in 2 days can’t go anywhere else this is unacceptable service.

The service from pharmacy is horrible. It really takes them over an hour to answer the phone. I understand they get busy but everytime I am picking up in person, I see employees picking the phone not even saying “please hold” and would just press hold. I get text messages from cvs saying my prescription is ready but when I get there they want me to come back in an hour. The whole situation is frustrating!

CVS said they had no record of my prescription. My physician said they authorized refills for a year 2 months ago.CVS counterperson had a lackadaisical too bad so sad attitude. My authorized refill was not in their system, so they basically abdicated any responsibility. I shared the info sent from the physician which the counterperson dismissed. Really painful interaction and zero concern, ownership or empathy.One star for eventually reaching out to the provider and confirming the rx even though it was done reluctantly.

Always out of stuff. I called to ask if they have the item I am looking for, first they put me on hold for 15 minutes and then said yes they have it but when I actually went there there was none on the shelf and the guy checked in the back and said they don’t have it.WASTING PEOPLE TIME.

The incompetence is unreal. Multiple times we have had issues with prescriptions not being in or ready when they say they are and no reason why all of a sudden after calling back and forth between UCDavis and them all of a sudden they have the prescription. My husband is going through chemo. His meds are very important and they drop the ball too many times. Go elsewhere if you have any important meds

At the beginning of the pandemic this was a very convenient place to get tested. Since the vaccines have come out I’ve had to wait at least an hour past my appointment time even after coming 20 minutes early. If they are understaffed they need to fix that or not allow the drive-through time to be wasted by people picking up prescriptions. The pandemic is not over and Covid tests are still essential. I’m very frustrated and disappointed by this change in efficiency.

I needed my prescription urgently and I was on hold for half an hour and then they hung up on me without me getting to speak to anyone. I called again and they hung up while I was on hold for about 10 minutes.

About a year ago I ran out of Motrin so I popped in here to get a small bottle until I could get to Target, Costco or Walmart for a larger less expensive bottle. I bought the bottle got it home only to notice it was expired by several months. I returned to the store to exchange it. When I went back to the shelf I picked up another box it was also expired, 8 boxes later exhausting the supply ALL.of them were expired. Fast forward to last night same thing on the verge of running out stopped in to get a small bottle, yep you guessed it, it was expired. Returned to the store and shelf, 12 boxes later ALL were expired one was from. way back in 2020. Buyer beware when shopping here and be sure to check the dates. If I run out of anything again I will force myself to go to another store no matter how bad I feel.

Worst CVS in Sacramento! Service is a -5 stars! Drive thru pharmacy always broken, pharmacy says something will be ready in an hour then you arrive to find out the medicine is out of stock! No phone call, no nothing. This store is always dirty be inside and outside, store manager tonight on duty was being rude to customers and proclaiming he was off the clock on his lunch. This store gives CVS a bad name. We deserve better or close it!

Between and two and three stars at most I would advise everyone to stop going to cvs and look somewhere else like Safeway for your prescriptions. This place was great for the few months of my prescription, no issues then they switched pharmacists and have been causing problems ever since. Save your sanity and go to a different pharmacy altogether!They like to accuse you of refilling early when your doctor has sent over an a entirely new prescription for you to take starting on that day specifically lol. Makes no sense. Then they want double or triple doctor “approval” over the phone which takes another half day to two days to get ahold of your doc to prove the medication they already prescribed just to tell you they won’t fill it bc the dosage doesn’t agree with what they think or the prescription date has not been enough days since the last which was an entirely different medication.All three physicians I’ve spoken to about this on the past month or so have said pharmacists at “CVS” are difficult to work with now days especially, due to rules they’ve enforced themselves at CVS that have nothing to do with the prescription itself or regulations in CA that follow a doctors orders.Plus like many others have said (and maybe this is due to high traffic situation) they take forever to refill prescriptions then sometimes they still aren’t filled when they said they would be! That’s another thirty min added to your already busy day if you have a life and need your medication that day or the next. Please just go elsewhere that is what I did! :-) If you have any issues with mental health whatsoever it is not worth going to a cvs to be following a pharmacists opinion when they are not the doctor that prescribed you the medication. Way too paranoid here just save your sanity and go elsewhere!

Most of the cashiers are always super rude. There about 2 that have customer service and that’s it. Today there was a problem with the system where if you canceled your transaction, the extrabucks that you previously tried to use won’t show up on their end when you try to make the purchase again, which I understand. What got me upset is that as she was explaining to me I told her it was okay either way the extrabucks would go back to my card to which she said she can’t guarantee it. That is when I asked again how is there a possibility that I won’t get my extrabucks back if I never used them in the first place. She started raising her voice acting like I was the one that wasn’t understanding when I was talking to her respectfully and when I completely understood what she was trying to tell me, just not the fact that my extrabucks wouldn’t go back in my card. I know cvs in general often has problems with their system but I know for a fact that the extrabucks will always be there if they haven’t been used. I’ve never had that happen to me where they remove extrabucks from my card simply for cancelling a transaction. This is not the first time that something like this happens where they’re the ones that are not one hundred percent sure of what they are talking about and make the customer feel like they’re the dumb ones. There’s always a problem when I come to this CVS and I will not continue on shopping here.

Dropped off prescription on Thursday. Pharmacist asked if I would like to wait, it would be an hour and I would be texted when ready. I asked to verify my number and went home. I called 1 hpir 45 minutes later to check, which stayed on hold for over 30 minutes.Called the next day, was on hold for another 25 minutes while I pulled up to CVS. I walked in still on hold, while they ignored the 3 calls waiting in cue.(one was still mine) I asked why I was texted or called, she dismissed my question, I stated I guess I can hang up my call since that wouldnt get answered either. She stated the Pharmacist is finishing up my prescription now, I stated wow that must have been a hard prescription because it took 24 hours to complete. I then get a text that my prescription was ready. Wow, they had stacks and stacks prescriptions on top of eachother everywhere. Probably a good time to change pharmacy.

We tried to access our Covid test results as they said they were ready but an access code was needed that was not provided upon testing. We were on hold for 3 and a half hours just trying to reach someone at the pharmacy. I’ve worked in the service industry for many years and it’s always a priority to not leave customers on hold for excessively long, not to mention when their is time sensitive information on a deadly disease at stake. Honestly, while the drive thru testing was convenient, the tests are self administered so there is the doubt it wasn’t done correctly and there’s 2-4 day lab work waiting period and a 5 day delay to access your chart online. There are other testing sites that give you the results the same day and it’s far worth paying a little more than endure the anxiety of waiting and dealing with this customer service.

There is a woman who works for the CVS pharmacy that is denying people their prescriptions. My boyfriend went in to fill his prescription and the lady denied it because he is a young adult and she didn’t feel comfortable giving him the medication he needs for his severely sprained ankle. Like what? He got prescribed for a reason. He’s been in severe pain and will be in more pain because of this incompetent lady. Please teach your pharmacist better ethic. It’s illegal for pharmacist in california to deny prescription drugs.

I don’t know what her name was but she’s a blonde haired, caucasian young woman she had a very low pony tail. She rudely told me I couldn’t put my bike in the front of the store(I had to use the restroom), I went straight to the restroom and went in and locked the door cause I didn’t feel safe due to the men walking all around the store, there was only two stalls so I didn’t think locking the door was a problem. I come out and she comes in and rudely says “Um you can’t lock the door.” I said “Oh sorry I didn’t know.” And she said “Well now you do.” ITS NOT MY FAULT YOUR MISERABLE . Don’t take it out on me. I’m very unsatisfied.

I was recently transferred to CVS from Natomas Pharmacy when they merged. I have been to CVS several times in the past for a friend. This pharmacy isnt perfect in their performance, but the staff do try hard and make an extra effort to help. I am always impressed by the friendly attitude of the staff, some of them even remember me. Of course, reaching any business by phone is a challenge due to automated operator systems, and CVS is no different in this way, but once I do reach a live staff member I am almost always happy with the outcome.

Newly remodeled as of September 2017. Store is nice and a typical well stocked CVS. Staff is friendly and almost always remember to greet you coming in the door. Sometimes there are lines at checkout because the standard operating procedure is to have one register open. They open up a second if the line gets more than 4-5 deep. At checkout they always ask for your CVS card number so they can punch it in. No complaints except for the shopping plaza itself which often has an assortment of people loitering about. At least two stores in the plaza have been robbed at gunpoint in the last 6 months.

This place leaves old sale prices up all the time watch out at the register!! Even if its not a sale item you will be charged more than the listed price on everything watch your reciept!!!! This place is in a complex that gets robbed regularly. The employees here are poorly trained and are very rude and unhelpful. The owner of this dump should be ashamed.

Generally the daytime staff are great, so why the measly “2” rating?1. It’s 7pm and i just left mydentist office after a complicated tooth extraction and bone graft. Pulled up in empty parking lot and drive up to empty drive-through to get my 4 pill prescription of the most common antibiotic “amoxicillin” filled. The guy tells me to come back in 40 minutes when there are no other customers.Why can i go there in the daytime to a full store with multiple prescriptions of less common drugs filled in 10-15 mins? hmm2. This CVS location could take advantage of those of us that want one real food like a fruit or veggie on short notice, that is not worth dealing with the hassle of Rayleys parking, stop lights, etc. It wouldn’t take much space to offer a few common veggies and fruit like lettuce, avocado, onion, potato, apple, orange.

I’m only putting 1 start because I have to leave at least once their service is terrible after a dentist office appointment nobody want a hassle to get the antibiotics and pain management well my prescription has been there for 48 hrs and I’ve been told to return twice waste of gas and time I asked them to contact medical after I had called in twice with them telling my my medical was fine for him to tell me he is to busy to call kept me on hold for 30 mins and conversation still hasn’t gotten me anywhere I’m livid

Ridiculous. I came here at 8:30am to get tampons. And of course being a woman I shop around a little. Lol but the staff there is following me around!! Omg now that is embaressing. I encountered 4 different workers (including the front register worker.) Not one hello or good morning. Ill never go back and this is down the street from my house too.

Don’t use the pharmacy, they give out new prescription medication without a consult (which is illegal) and tell you to call back tomorrow. That doesn’t help when you can’t breathe and are picking up an inhaler.
