Giving 5 are so everyone can see. They refuse to give water cups to the homeless and have stopped their own costumers from purchasing waters for the homeless due to the views they would receive to their business. Yet they set out water bowls for dogs. How about we share kindness instead of hate to those in need. 25 cent water cup? Really? Do better.

Looks like such a cool place to come and relax, the coffee looks fantastic, unfortunately I will not ever support due to the lack of human decency because it’s “bad for business”. When you provide water bowls for dogs but won’t even let your guests buy water for a houseless person, shame on you. Classism isn’t a good aesthetic last time I checked. Are you proud of how your business looks now?

This place is really nostalgic to me, I used to go all the time as a teenager to hang out and study (or at least pretend to). The coffee is excellent! The bowl of soul is iconic ✨ better than Starbucks!

Its good to know this cafe is still around - great little place with decent over-priced coffee and pastries...but youre paying for the hip factor, right? Outdoor seating, good service, and located across the street from Fremont Park. This neighborhood has changed a lot - and for the better. The Naked Lounge had a part in that, I think.

This is now my new favorite coffee place. The coffee is insanely good, its a quiet little spot, and the staff are always very positive. Never rude or in a bad mood. 10/10 coffee and right by a park so you can take a quick walk after.

The Naked Lounge is my favorite local coffee shop in the Sacramento area. Their drinks are always well made with tasty options to eat. Friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. It has great customer service and their staff is very attentive to the needs of the customer.PS. Their white mocha is amazing! A must try.

I lived in Midtown in Sacramento from 2013 to 2016. The Naked Lounge was my favorite coffee shop then, and I recently returned for a visit to find its just as good as I remember. I love the bowl of soul and the aztec mocha. When I lived at 24th & Q, I used to bring my travel mug and my dog down to Naked Lounge every morning for our morning drip coffee and walk. Absolutely love this place.

Dont go here unless you want to support a business that denies a homeless mans request for water, and refuses to sell a cup of water to an onlooking patron on the grounds of being bad for business. But they have water bowls for dogs.

The staff here are super friendly 95% of the time and theres usually interesting new music playing inside. The patio is a nice place to sit and usually not too crowded right now. Im glad to see them open again. You definitely have to try a bowl of soul. Read the whole menu that there are plenty of options beyond Lotties and Kappa chinos

I really enjoyed Naked Lounge.My favorite part of my visit was the coffee. I drink mine straight up and I feel like thats how this coffee was intended to be drank. It was super smooth and the temperature was perfect. Ill definitely be back next time Im in Sacramento.

Refused to give a homeless man some water, when another customer tried to buy the man water, they said it was bad for business.. if giving the homeless some water is “bad for business” then you should probably just shut down.

Best latte I’ve ever had. I’m not a heavy coffee drinker but I am a picky one and the roast was perfect, paired with oaty goodness that made my microbiome happy to be lactase free for once.

Delicious and creative drinks. I bought the Kerouac and Bowl of Soul, and they were both clearly prepared with care and had an attractive presentation. Very tasty!

I always love when they make a design in the top of the coffee / cocoa. They did a couple of cool designs on ours. The staff are nice but the drinks are just so so.

Good coffee ruined by terrible seating. Flat cushions, ripped upholstery and Goodwill rejects make for an uncomfortable place to lounge and enjoy their coffee, which was excellent.

Loved it! Went on a Saturday morning. The crew were very happy to see us and very attentive. Great blueberry pancakes made with whole grain wheat. It was delicious! Try the watermelon lemonade!

Loved it! I asked for a mocchaccino made specifically to my liking due to my bariatric surgery and the baristas came through for me with a delicious drink with bells on! They were totes AWESOME !

Excellent drinks, the coffee here is absolutely delicious. If it wasnt so expensive Id give them 5 stars. Weve had lattes, both hot and cold and added caramel sauce to one which brought the drink up to 6.50! Otherwise its unflavored for 5.75. And their large is pretty small. Pricey, flavor doesnt disappoint though. Services is average, not too warm or friendly but not unfriendly either.

Id give this place 5 stars, but the recent renovation placed them precariously close to common competitors regarding the aesthetic and feel of the space. What was once unique and thoughtfulis now typical and borderline comical. Thankfully the best aspects, such as quality of the product and staff, remain intact. Its just a shame that the charm that marked Naked Lounge as something different was seemingly lost during growing pains.

The Kerouac is the most amazing drink. You must experience it at least once before death. Their version of the Keith Richards is such a treat. Like Richards himself, reserve judgement until you have experienced it.

Completely unpretentious and balanced espresso drinks matched with very friendly staff make this place a perfect neighborhood cafè. They offer really cool and unique drinks and locally sourced juices and food, so theres that angle.Along with Temple, both have a long and notorious history of mistreating staff and placing coffee culture way above its station, leading to a strict regimen which produced great coffee and consistently perfect espresso drinks.I cant tell you how many times myself or a coworker left a shift crying and exhausted though, so u tell me if a $5 latte is worth all that?So they elevated the art and brought a lot of credit to the art in Northern California which is cool, though I wonder if a more supportive approach has been implemented because I remember back in the day going to Naked Lounge in Chico and staff always seemed a bit...nervous, lets say-When they came to sacramento I was like, Oh boy. Here we go... Expanding business, expanding egos? My experience within that industry says yes, overwhelmingly.Now going into various Temple and Naked Lounge locations, I think they finally got it right. Everyone looks happy and the products are still A+Well done, dudes.

This place is good for doing something quietly by yourself with a cup of coffee. I got together with some friends here and it was so quiet everyone in there could hear what we were talking about, I felt really disruptive. We also got lattes and bagels, maybe Im just used to Starbucks, but their bagels were $4.00, which seemed like a lot to me. There is also a fee if you eat there (I believe it was $1.00), so it might be better just to get it to go. I definitely want to give it a try next time I need to get some work done.

Its been about 14 years since this place opened; it rapidly became my favourite coffeehouse in Sacramento. Nowadays, it is much the same, but needs some upkeep. Folks, take some time to reupholster the benches! Otherwise, still great coffee, great crowd.

The vibe is super chill land the coffee here is really good. I definitely recommend their Thai Coffee. Its legit good. I just wish they had more food options.

Awesome coffee shop in midtown Sacramento. The favorite of many here is the Bowl of Soul, a chamomile style tea. My favorite is the Azteca, a spicy coffee with Cayenne thats not always on the menu. Sometimes, if they have the ingredients for it, theyll make it anyway if you ask. Its not a huge place, but has plenty of room for sitting if you need to get work done.

I love the seating inside, the theme is great, and the coffee is decent. However be aware parking is a nightmare. I had to park several blocks away, which worked for me because paying for parking ended at 8pm. The parking surrounding this coffee shop isnt free until 10pm and is hard to find.

I havent been here in awhile but i visited for a job interview recently i have absolutely no regrets. The service was amazing, I ordered the house coffee with 3 shots it wasnt so overwhelming like ive got at Starbucks where you have to ad tons of creamer to drink it, They remember to leave room for me to add cream and they brought the coffee to my table. The environment was very relaxed unlike Starbucks where is so packed you dont even want to be in there. to top it off i loved how they served the coffee in a coffee cup. Ill definitely be going back..

Possibly my favorite coffee shop in CA. Small, shaded patio plus a few tables out front for us who still enjoy a smoke with our coffee. The park across the street as very nice for couples or families with a newly remodeled & rebuilt playground.The brews are the best and so is the staff

They host local shows there after 8pm and every show Ive gone to, the girls that work the door always have an attitude that make you feel unwelcome. I understand switching over to a venue at night changes the dynamic- but approaching people at their car immediately on arrival asking for admission money or you need to leave isnt the most inviting feeling when youre going to an event youre planning on enjoying. The venue is small, so its understandable that it is difficult to maneuver about when you have a full house (and with tables bolted into the floor)- but getting up in someones face and telling them that youre in their way isnt appropriate. Im another guy in the crowd, not some drunk jerk disrupting the event. Offering to help staff clean up as courtesy also results in a sarcastic response. Very off-putting as someone who is pretty heavily involved with local music and that supports other businesses in the area. I can get over the small size, being crowded with tables and less than stellar sound- but having several negative experiences with the staff and negative feedback from others that attend/perform at this venue, Im giving it 1 star. Drinks are also expensive. Management needs to talk to their staff on common courtesy. I dont look forward to attending future shows here and wouldnt feel comfortable coming here during the day either. Take it with a grain of salt. Hope those things get worked out.

Went in expecting/hoping for a nudist café.. Was pretty disappointed.Good coffee though.

Im not a coffee snob and dont like pretension. Naked Lounge does not have that! It has a very Sacramento feel, but almost feels like youre in Seattle too. Its not as eclectic as Tower Cafe, but has a good vibe with jazz over the PA.

Very nice atmosphere. Location is great for ppl watching an has a nice park across the street. Employees are wonderful an very sweet.

My mother and I happened on this place after attending a dance class at the nearby studio. I had a Soul that day that was honestly one of the best Ive had. Today I got a Mocha Tie, which was a little on the sweet side, but I could tell the ingredients were rich and not from a cheap Hersheys bottle. Its a great place to unwind or sit outside with friends.

Chill place and inexpensive.I had a caramel macchiato a hot tea for my girl and some bread stuffed with chocolate in side for 11 bucks.My girls phone was dead and they gladly let us borrow their phone charger to charge her phone.

Coffee is good. Service is deplorable. Being that this is only one of MANY places within even just the block that I can get a quality drink, I prefer to go to a place where I feel my business is appreciated. Ive been here well over 10 times and have received consistent, terrible service each time. The last straw was when I asked the barista for a piece of tape to cover my drink for a long road trip, she answered verbatim, Sorry, Im too busy right now. Insight Coffee, The Trade & Temple Coffee Roasters put this place to shame.

This was my first time back to naked in a couple of years, the coffee was still good, however the latest remodel seemed to strip away some the funky kitchyness I remember. Artwork was a harken back to the original naked lounge but I do miss the character that let me know I was in a unique coffee spot. I don understand we need to change with the times...

This place has superb espresso and makes the best cappuccino Ive had. Please avoid Starbucks people and hit this amazing place up instead. Be careful of the meters here, I got a ticket once. On Q I believe its unmetered on one side of the street. Careful of pedestrians on this corner as well. Baked goods are top notch quality, they have honey if you need it for your coffee, there is a great smoker friendly patio, too, which is also dog friendly.
