My favorite coffee place in Sacramento. The staff are personable, friendly and have always gone out of their way to provide high quality service. They roast some quality beans with a wide range of flavor notes. As someone who drinks pour overs with my Chemex at home, I can always find a bean for whatever Im craving flavor wise. My favorite part is that they let me order in a quantity of 2 lbs, since 12 oz is never enough and 5 lbs is just too much for one person. I love that their beans are all USDA organic too.Their coffee shop has a wonderful interior and they have some quality spots right out front too in case you want to be extra careful right now. I come here on Sundays with friends and its a busy place, but still you can find a spot to enjoy your coffee and converse.Highly recommend this place for the coffee, the food and their people. Love them.

Whats cute place to sit down and have a really wonderful premium coffee. If youre hungry get a breakfast sandwich, which are phenomenal. You wont regret it. The combo of sauce, homemade style biscuit and egg+sausage was a amazing.

Four words. HOUSE MADE NUT MILK. That is true care of the craft. The cashew milk latte is my ultimate favorite. If you like it sweet. Try the Sweet Latte. Hungry? The egg and veggie breakfast sandwich is a hit anytime of day and have it perfectly split for two. This location is a pre skate ritual Ive been passionate about for years.

Very pricey. No refills on coffee. A comfortable and quaint atmosphere. Electrical outlets available for charging phones etc. The surrounding area is not the best. Only one bathroom. Too warm inside in the summer. Many people in the area do not have cars, so the filthy rich can take advantage of them with high prices.

One word to describe this place. Quality. Their product will make your eyes roll backwards 3x.

A little off the beaten track, but excellent coffee & service. You really have to search for the place, if youre not familiar with the hood. Now, that indoor sitting is available, its a great place to hang with friends or work remotely.I tend to like darker roast, but Insights beans & brew tend to be on the light-medium roast end of the spectrum. Which is alright, I like the change and smoothness of their blends.

Very friendly and knowledgeable Baristas! Relaxing atmosphere and delicious coffee. 😊 It is a bit pricey, but it is a nice treat and an opportunity to support small local business.

A very open atmosphere that allows thoughts to flow smoothly and freely. It is located on a corner of a relatively light-traffic street with a very comfortable patio with a canopy. If outdoor seating isnt available. the lovely Southside Park is within a minute walking distance. They have in-house roasting, and also bake all of their gluten-free goodies on display to the left of the register. This spot is definitely recommended for students, dates, and small business meetings.

Great espresso drinks and ambiance. Like how they have vendor information for sourced items. They also have Song Tea if you like your loose leaf teas.

The drink was good, but the employees were extremely rude. My friend and I were treated like lepers. We were clearly victims of discrimination, regarding a particular message of peace we had on our clothes. They refused to take our order in the shop, and insisted on taking it out in the street. I cant believe that still exists nowadays. It literally felt like being Jewish during WW2 and I am French so I know what Im talking about. I thought California was the land of positivity and cultural equality. I suggest this shop review the way they treat their customers, if they want to survive in the world of peace, equality and justice that we are building.

Had a Rue Mocha I liked it, price $6.00. I would say the size was a small (16oz). I was surprised that they only offer 1 drink size for Mocha and lattes.Friendly employees.

Went here for the first time today. It has 4 stars on Yelp, maybe for the location and good amount of seating inside and out? I got a mocha, my wife got an iced latte.The portions are really small, as in they are all small cups. And the prices are really high, I paid $6 for a mocha in a small cup. The mocha was just ok, nothing special. The crowed sitting outside was openly judgemental about a man driving a BMW who had to walk back to his car because he forgot his mask. So already the energy was off putting.Was really hoping this was gonna be a good spot. I did like the wooden and iron tables/benches they had inside.

I love this place! The coffee is amazing, the baristas are always so kind and friendly and they done a great job enforcing Covid policies!

First off love that they offer so many different brew methods. Chemex paper, chemex kone, aeropress, v60, French press, and Bonavita. Also the barristas are really nice and know their coffee. I ordered a bag of beans and a pour over and got a free shot and a small sample of a rwanda that they had. Overall, great location, barristas, and of course coffee!

After driving from Pacific Grove and surviving on their surprisingly bland coffee for the past few days -- we began searching Google Map for a coffee shop as soon as we got near Downtown Sacramento (me, wife, and kids).We had to loop back from Arco Arena as we almost missed this spot.Our next stop is two hours in Oroville and I was not confident we would find much in Yuba City.Thank you Sacramento for your coffee culture. I knew my old home home not let me down. Send someone to PG to help them.

I Love Sacramentos local coffee scene. Coming from Portland where there is a saturation of coffee roasters, insight genuinely ranks among my old NW favorites.

I love going there when I can eat inside and use my computer but that isnt possible at the moment so that and the high prices keep me away.

One of my favorite local coffee shops to hang out in or work from. Parking on the street is 10 hours and $6 max. So many other coffee shops have 2h max parking. Service is really friendly and casual, you can bring your lunch here as you work through the day. I do wish they offered a lunch menu (even a limited one) as it would attract more teleworking. They have plentiful power outlets and wifi is decent (only one disconnect in 6 hours). Only reason I dont visit more often is that most of the seating is just uncomfortable for any extended duration.

Coffee was very good and they have a good selection of house made bakery items. The no bake cookies are really good, and they typically have both room temp and cold ones which I thought was very good.

Great local coffee roaster. Good atmosphere with a modern industrial design. A little rustic. They offer pour over and the barista made them both well. Speedy and friendly service. Worth taking a look.

Great spot to grab a coffee and get some work done... I had an iced chai tea, it was good not super creamy but had a strong spice flavor. Although the people watching can be good, most of it is homeless people and I dont find that to be particularly entering... I was harassed by a homeless man through the window, that was uncomfortable. I think next time Ill sit in the back, ha.

I love this place. They make perfect espresso drinks and usually pretty quickly, even when its busy. The beans are responsibly sourced and locally roasted, and the milk is local and maybe organic/grass fed. The snacks follow all the same values and are delicious. The baristas are friendly but not forced and finally the atmosphere is calming and delightful. I actually could go every single day, its a perfect way to start the day.

This place is a chill vibe kind of place. Its relaxing calming and peaceful. They only have one vegan option for food which is a granola bar but most of their drinks can be made vegan. Just ask. I look forward to going back here again.

Very pleasant, mellow environment... delicious coffee, nice people, and a touch of humor...theater seats face front, for viewing the outside goings-on.They could use a greater variety of noshes, but, I saw a kitchen and inferred that they do their own baking.

The food was so savory. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. It has a cool feel to it.

I attend the monthly coffee seminars, and theyre an excellent source of information! If youre interested in brewing, roasting and/or sourcing, attend the monthly seminars to learn something new! I havent attended the tea seminars yet, but I will!

Inviting, spacious atmosphere with great decor. You will not lose your credibility as a coffee shop if you offer vanilla syrup and half and half (standard anywhere else). Love the vibe but you have to remember that not everyone enjoys simple syrup. The more people you cater to, the more business you will receive.

Its one of the few places left where you can smoke outside in front without people giving you the evil eye. Very chill and has a wonderful mix of patrons. Brown sugar latte is unusual (havent tasted a similar coffee drink elsewhere) and delicious!

They gave me free cold water when I needed it. Very trendy but quaint. Great benches out front if you need to sit for no reason. Actually comes to think of it it is a perfect coffee shop.

Coffee is good but stuff is just a little more expensive than usual. Atmosphere is great. Customer service is excellent. The guys are really nice and will ask you questions and chat with you. Was impressed with the square software they use - they will send you the receipt via email or text. Very cool!

Several years ago, Insight took a chance on a neighborhood that didnt have a lot going on at the time, and we residents appreciated it. Now that I live elsewhere, I still occasionally meet people there because parking is decent and they have good stuff. They also source and roast all their coffee beans themselves, which I appreciate. Best feature if youre alone, especially, is sitting in the row of seats that faces outside for people-watching.
