Came for an oil change. While driving back home, I heard a sound from under the hood. Came home and opened the hood to check on it. I got shocked. The oil is all over. Bought a brand new car 6 months ago. They forgot to put the lid back on. They judt left it on the side under the hood. I can’t trust them any more!

Took the Avalon in for its six month service. It was by appointment and they were ready. Staff attentive. Though there wasnt shuttle service home while the service was being done they offered 10 dollars credit on a Uber ride. I opted to stay and wait. I spent time looking around the new and used cars and by the time I was finished browsing the lot, the service was complete. While in the lot I was even approached by a friendly salesman and asked if I needed assistance, which I didnt. Spacious waiting room with plenty of magazines, a TV, and beverages available.

Came in for an oil change, got home and noticed the next day there was oil all over the garage floor. Called and was told to come back in to have it check. came back in a day later and waited 2+ hours for them to tell me they didnt torque the drain plug correctly. Wasted 3 hours of my workday coming in because they did a basic oil change incorrectly, wouldnt reccomend

Ordered parts from Maita Toyota for my 4 Runner. I wanted to buy OEM parts and Maita has everything in stock. Pretty good atmosphere inside dealership. FYI mark up on parts is about 40% more vs internet OEM parts. So if you can wait few days, than you can save almost 1/2. Other than that, great friendly customer service.

Service on the car was good, but wait time was very frustrating. I was told 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs. wait. After 2 1/2 hrs I finally asked my rep to check on my car. It was finished but just sitting there for no reason. I watched several people get their cars, that came in after me. I hate this!!! I wasnt able to ask my rep to check earlier because he was with the guys. Chatting and laughing. The same thing happened last time. If it happens again, I will find a new place to get my car serviced.

Dont entrust your wife, mother or daughter to their service department. My wife picked up a nail in her 2021 Highlander (purchased from Maita) and limped in. They wanted her to leave if for the entire day, which she couldnt do. So she asked the service writer for some air so she could get to another shop down the road. He refused and sent her on her way on a dangerously underinflated tire. Way beyond ungentlemanly, thats just plain terrible.

All staff were very helpful. The workorder includes a field called promised. When the promise time is exceeded exceeded by more than 30 minutes, you might let the waiting let the waiting customer know. I asked for an email with the receipt and list of work performed and needed. I have yet to receive it. Thank you for the opportunity to give you what I hope is constructive feedback. Have tried calling several times for something that will take 10 minutes or less and have left several messages for finance or the manager to call me back and have had nothing. I call every single day for last 2 weeks still no response except the receptionist saying Im sorry, were busy

I had to drop in without an appointment to buy a pair of tires since I had a screw in one that couldnt be patched. Yes they were busy but I figured theyd be able to work me in and get things done in a few hours. How long does it take to pop on a few new tires? A few hours in the service advisor recognized me but told me that no the car was not ready yet. 5 hours later they still hadnt started and I had to talk to a manager to have them start. I wont be back. Not for service, and certainly not for any new car purchases.

Terrible customer service!! Go somewhere else to have your Toyota serviced. As a four time new car customer you would think Maita would value me and my time. Brought my Prius in for a simple oil change after making an appointment. I arrived early and checked in. I waited and was told 90 minutes was normal but that it might be two hours to complete. I waited over 2 and one half hours. No one bothered to tell me of any problems with completing the work on time. I sought out the service writer who didn’t have a clue as to the status of the work. When I demanded he check on it he found my car hadn’t even been looked at. The service manager admitted to me that they were missing some employees and that he knew there would be issues, but no one told me that when I brought in my car. This shows a lack of respect for me as a customer. And just when I was considering a buying a new Toyota. Well, I guess there are other dealers out there.

We bought a new car here and the dealer is keep asking us to buy their 3 boundle of car protection package. I am just so tired of them pushing this to customers. When I ask their customer review on this bundle, they don’t have any. Yet they keep saying it worth my money… I won’t recommend to my family/ friend. Plus at the dealership we miss a key. They said the rekey person will contact me and come to me for the service. But the rekey person never called me and after my 3rd attempt, he picked up the phone, asking me to go to his place to rekey. I went and he said he doesn’t have this key available.. So much trouble and NOT professional!

This time as soon as drove up the service bay, I was greeted immediately and all the service was performed on time as promised. The tech who worked on my truck was the only one to write down that my tire pressure light needed to be looked at. Its been blinking for the past 3 times that Ive brought my truck in for servicing and the other techs never noted it. Finally got a tech who checks everything and finished on time.

I had a 3pm appointment and an employee greeted me on arrival. Check in process was easy. The wait was long, but the staff acknowledged it and apologized. In fairness there were a surprising number of cars there ahead of me before I arrived so I understood the wait was inevitable. Great service and friendly staff. Will come back again.

Gentlemen. Very professional. Simplified the process for me. So I could enjoy my new to me prius c. After years of not owning a car. All I had were clunkers. This exciting milestone, happy moment for me. Was over due and welcoming. I shared my excitement on social media. Now people know where to go to trade in a car or by a new car. Service was as expected based on warranty.Issue: when I purchased the NEW vehicle (10 monhts ago) I inadvertently signed up for for extra dent and windshield repair.I have had 2 scheudled maintenance appts and so far **Maita Toyota has not been able to provide the contact info for me to have windshield damage repaired.Recommend to readers: NEVER purchase extra dent and windsheild repair.What was verbally reviewed / promised at signing in Sept 2020 - has not come to fruition. The managers need to teach customer service to their initial contact staff. First time here. I have an appointment and I arrived 10 minutes early. I was greeted by my car and was told to stay by my car and someone would be out shortly. 20 minutes later and 7 other cars came and went was I finally connected to the service department. Come on! All the person had to say was it will probably be a 10-15 minute wait not someone will be out shortly.

Bought a brand new 2021 Tacoma Off Road about a week ago. They only had one key fob and spent about an hour trying to find the second one. No luck they seemed to have lost it somehow 🤷🏼‍♂️ So they order a new one and I was scheduled a week later to get it programmed. Come in about 10 minutes early and ended up waiting 3 and a half hours to hear that the new key fob won’t connect and it may be defective… ok… so they go and order a new one and I return the very next day to get it done. Again about 3 hours later the new one won’t connect… wth is going on here?… so they gotta reset the system and try connecting the new fob and the one I had that came with the car… 6 hours later and I’m still here 😡

I brought my car in at the appointed time for service and it was not looked at until late in the day. I was told parts had to be ordered and it was promised to be ready the next day. The parts came in, but were damaged and I was told I had to wait yet another day. They didnt send a courier out to get the parts from another dealer or parts distributor. I told them that I was unhappy by this and they would not offer me any kind of break, a comp or even a courtesy car. I was was without my car for three days and was seriously inconvenienced by this. They had an opportunity to make things better, but they did not. Poor customer service. I will not be back and advise others to take their business elsewhere was well.

Would definitely leave 0 stars if possible, went in multiple days initially looked like they would provide good service however going in a second and third time they would not be consistent with their pricing the third day we were ready to buy for prices they had already given us and they changed their prices again ultimately they would go around and around not giving me final prices with no bs additions would not give me out the door prices and this guy TONY was extremely rude extremely!!! He ultimately left us talking we were so confused he stormed off and left us so rude never felt so weird in my life to be told to get the f out of there was just beyond me!

I came here after having a very terrible experience at the Elk Grove Toyota in the Auto Mall. I was looking for a new RAV4, and after not being allowed to test drive the vehicle and having the sales guy walk away form me because my knowledge or pricing a car I didnt know the price of was not up to par, I decided to try again at this location.I got Joe Perez as the sales guy, and after telling him of my experience he was sympathetic as well as helpful. he actually let me test drive the car I wanted, and was very honest and knowledgeable. He took his time in explaining the different types of models on the lot, as well as prices and payment. I even had a good Finance experience with Ira Carter. He did a great job and managed to get me a killer interest rate while not making me feel rushed or pressured into signing anything.Thank you guys for making this the quickest and nicest car buying experience!

Service is below my expectation; the rate should be below the ZERO; I dropped my car today around 7:30 for my regular services. The service supervisor told me I would wait for 3 to 4 hours because they are busy. Around 11: 30, he came back, and he told me that they did not touch my car and I have to wait another 3 hours to get my car back, so thats mean my car regular services will take around 7 hours not 3 or 4 hours .and after 4 hours I left and did not get my regular service.I think you have to pay attention to the service department system if you are busy or dont have enough staff to do the services dont accept or check in the cars and waste our time for nothing.

Maintain has attempted to fix my air-conditioned in my 2005 Toyota Tundra 3 times without success. Today is the 4 th attempt. I took it there after another machine failed after replacing the ac pump, condenser and flushing and replacing the coolant. The same problem with ac not cooling persisted. I filed a complaint and got my money back. I took my truck to Maita thinking they could fix the persistent problem with all the new part. Now the manager Val tells me Maita doesnt guarantee their work because another mechanic put the new pafts in. Contrary to the guarantee I was given the first time. Just because they cant fix the problem after 3 attempts. Val refused to give me a rental car. All the times I had to go back for Maitas mechanics to guess at the problem should entitle me to get something free. If they try to charge me again when I pick up my truck, come and watch the show I will put on.

I had an appointment yesterday (1/20/2021) to have my air bag replaced due to a recall. Which... i spent 10 minutes in the front service area, being UPSOLD new tires... If i wanted new tires, i would have gotten new tires. That toyota rep DIDNT even ask why i was here, just, LET ME CHECK THE TREAD, OH. WE HAVE A SPECIAL ON.... I dont care. Anyway. I was told on the phone, i would receive an uber credit to go home until the repairs were done. After checking in, the rep told me that it would be 3 hours until it would be finished. I stood there. I had to RE-CLARIFY that this was my only means of transportation, and i would like an uber credit--to which the rep RELUCTANTLY gave me said credit. I received a call a couple hours later, informing me that they had the wrong part--and that the vehicle would be ready tomorrow. Not a problem, im already upset about the uber thing--so why not add on. Come to today, (1/21/2021). To where i receive my car back... and find that the techs had broken my cell phone holder, and my cell phone charger. No one said it on the phone when i came to pick it up, the guy who HANDED me back my keys (not same rep, some younger man) didnt say anything either, and IMMEDIATELY bolted towards the door. i dont want compensation. i want an apology for bad service. First time ever at this location, and i may never come back. I mean, i GUESS they replaced my airbag...

The worst experience yet! Trying to get my new vehicle and trade in my 4runner was a joke with this place. Because of the laziness of the salesman, I lost my car I put a deposit on which I had been waiting on for a momth and he sold it to someone else. He never did what I asked when I specified who I wanted to finance through, he pulled my credit and went with numerous other companies and never would call/email me back to let me know what was going on. I had to call his manager and find all of this out from him. The handling of everything was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and just horrible. NEVER do business here. Only answer I got was we are understaffed and there must have been a miscommunication. WOW.

Great Experience. Got scheduled for service within one day. Service Bay drop off was fast and efficient. Car was ready in less than 2 hours (even though I went home). Scheduling an after-hours pickup was seamless and easy to pay for over the phone. Car was near the entrance to the parking lot when I arrived to pick up. Keys were at the front desk and ready to go. Just an over-all excellent experience with a super-efficient car dealership.

I had an oil change appointment on July 3rd at 9 am. My car was not finished until roughly 11:30 am. The service person came several times and assured me to be done in 10 minutes however made me wait 2 hours and half when you could get an oil change at Walmart in 30 minutes. This has happened two times now: we have a very low mileage (only 7k in 2 years, the van mostly sits in the garage so its perfect condition) 2017 sienna minivan. We brought it to Maita for toyotacare service, both times the van was scratched. This last time there are two very large scratches that were made to the minivan, one on the drivers side fender, and the other on passenger side rear quarter panel. The wheels are scratched and gouged from the service technician just pounding them with the wheel gun. They were perfect condition prior to our visit. I have pictures/documentation of all of this. I have logged complaints both online and by calling. Both times I was asked to leave a voicemail for the supervisor or manager, neither time anyone ever bothered to call me back at all. Both times we showed up, no one cared to greet us, we had to sit 10-15 minutes in lane 1 before anyone even acknowledged us. I am appalled at Maita Toyota service department. They simply dont care, they are so high volume that they could care less about customer service or actually taking care of the cars without damaging them. I will be escalating this further up with Toyota to ensure that someone that actually cares about retaining customers looks into this.

I brought my car in because at the last service appointment, whomever was supposed to reset the service needed button in my car failed to do so. The service light had gone on and that conflicted with the information on the sticker on the windshield about when I needed service. I received my car back and was told it had been reset, but now there is no sticker on the windshield to remind me when the next service should be. Now I am relying on the fact the the button was reset, and I hope it was, but it should have been reset last time and it wasnt. This inconsistency in practices leads to a lack of confidence that I will be appropriately notified when my car really needs service.

They used the wrong phone number trying to contact me while I was sitting thirty feet away( I gave the correct number when I brought the car in).Hopeful for a better next appointment.Visit #2: Service completed early, probably(looking back on it) because the first coronavirus shutdown had just occurred and business was slow.Visit #3: In for oil change and tire rotation. Told between 90 minutes and an hour and forty five minutes. Two hours and twenty three minutes later, after I finally said something, they “found” my car(it seems they misplaced it for a few minutes). Dashboard apps were changed. Had to reset those. I missed an appointment.No apology provided.Seems like they do not need my business.

Not a pleasant experience from this dealership. The sales personnel are ok, except the Director of Sales. This guy was rude and condescending. Bad, bad customer care. I bought my Camry there 12 months ago. The salesperson told me to call him if I had any questions. I tried to contact him twice, after the sale, but he never got back to me. Then in the weeks that followed, I was told twice to drive there to sign paperwork they overlooked on the day of the sale. Then this morning I was ignored by the service dept personnel as I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. Then one of them helped a customer who walked in AFTER I had been standing there for several minutes. I then left and will only return because the car is under warranty for servicing. But I will purchase my next vehicle somewhere else and spread the word about how poorly Maita @ Auburn Blvd treats its customers. The one star above is generous.

Finally I went to this dealership and spoke to the Sales man Chris Martin who was super easy going and made me feel confident enough to get myself into a brand new car 2020 Toyota Corolla LE. We’ve never had a problem with Maita’s service department, which we’ve used for our current Toyota. However, we went to test drive a couple vehicles today, and were disappointed with what we viewed as a lack of caution and consideration related to COVID-19. We were greeted by two employees who had their masks pulled below their noses and did not remain socially distant. We still went with one of these employees to view a couple cars, but then saw him pull his mask down completely in order to speak to someone else.

By far the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Initially started looking online which then lead to getting in touch with Jonathan and TK. They were both incredibly helpful with information on pricing and similar options that were available. Once I finally decided to get the car I went there and TK was on it. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot there was already someone asking if I needed anything. I asked for TK and he was just pulling up the new car to the front. After checking it out and talking about pricing options. Followed by a test drive where TK helped with all the new features Toyota has to offer. Once I decided to get the car the process was so smooth. And before I knew it TK was filling the car up for me and putting on my new plates and I was on my way. Not only a great selling experience but just generally wonderful people period. Also want to give a extra special thanks to TK for making everything so simple and quick. Would without a doubt recommend to anyone who wants an overall amazing car buying experience.

My car is under Toyota care , when I bought it I paid $1500 extra for oil change and other maintenance for 75k miles, but now they know I already paid them , they change the oil every 10k miles and they dont care what maintenance required . They dont do any maintenance to your car. Folks: Isnt it robbery!!!🤔🤔

Bought a car here back in January and that took nearly 5 hours, mostly due to slowness in financing. Our sales guy was great, very friendly and courteous and really the only positive in the experience.I just visited today for a service appointment that they scheduled. I waited in line for over half an hour to get my service started. It took an hour and a half for them to get it back to me, meaning I was there for over two hours. This was a longer delay than I had expected for a scheduled service appointment.Although they have signs around the building that claim they are actively enforcing social distancing and the employees are mostly wearing face masks and badges that promote 6 feet of distance, there was a lack of enforcement or even basic encouragement. I saw tape on the floor that was completely ignored and chairs in the waiting area were spaced apart but people without face coverings were then cutting between those chairs without regard. Service technicians were leaning within two feet of customers, holding up papers for customers to see and customers were queueing up close together with little regard for keeping distance. Active enforcement to me does not mean simply posting signage and wearing badges - this was inadequate. Employees should have been setting a good example of wearing masks consistently and maintaining 6 feet of distance between non-household members. Nothing was done to facilitate space.If you have any concerns about the current Pandemic, I would recommend you avoid this place like the plague.

I purchased a truck a few days ago. The experience was not that great. The person in the finance Dept was very pushy into buying their maintenance plan and gave us a guilt trip but we were firm with our decision. The salesman promised to have security system installed on Monday but that never happened. When I contacted them after 3 days, no one was interested enough to help me until I got loud with them and asked for a refund. All they care about is making money. There’s no such thing as customer satisfaction at this place. I will never do business with Maita Toyota again after this experience.

I visited Maita last year and Collette was amazing. Unfortunately, we werent able to make the financing work, due to some negative equity on my current car. I just returned from buying my new used car and am just as thrilled with the service I received the first time around (this time from Tyler). He was great from start to finish, as was the management staff and Chris in finance and Collette, although helping someone else, remembered us and said hi and was a friendly face to see.They will be getting my business again and I have given their information to friends and family! Great customer service isnt easy to find these days but this place is amazing!

MUCH improved experience from past visits! Service advisor arrived at my door within 2 min of arrival, before I even had the chance to check in via text (a great new feature I was pleased to see!), and everyone was respectful, helpful, and courteous. There is another added feature to check on status/progress of your car, but I didn’t end up using it because I kept myself busy and it was done on time. Everyone wore masks throughout, and the drivers used plastic and paper covers to keep the car interiors clean. The only recommendation I have is for techs to wipe off any smudges or anything from where they might touch-there were a few grease spots on my dash, but not much. The time estimate was incredibly accurate, and I was done with the entire in and out process including inspection, oil change, tore rotation, and flat repair (nail found during inspection, $25 fee to fix) within 2 hours. This is a decent chunk of time but the waiting area is pleasant and the wait time is FAR shorter than other dealerships I’ve experienced. They have better overall customer service than the Roseville Automall for sure. It’s actually not even far from my house-15 min from Roseville Denios area, maybe even closer than the automall anyway! My Toyota Care plan is over now and I’m not sure if I’ll pay to continue or move my minor services over to Jiffy Lube (or my mechanic husband when he has time, lol), but I am satisfied with Maita.

Everything was timely and fine, with the one exception being that the lights setting was changed. I (like so very many) really enjoy the convenience of the Auto setting for the headlights. I rely on it, as it makes driving safer. And so I never think about the lights anymore. Except, when I am first driving at night, and discover to my horror that the setting has been changed back to manual--because during the routine maintenance Toyota did not put the lights back on what is, for many, the default setting--and the setting that I had it on when I arrived.

I came from out of state to buy a new Tacoma at Miata Toyota. I really would recommend anyone to give Soney Vasquez and Maita Toyota a chance when getting into a new vehicle. It is a modern, clean, comfortable place with really nice people. There is a hoop to jump through as an out of state buyer to take delivery, but they do it all the time. P.S. my 2020 V6 2WD Tacoma gets 26+ mpg on the freeway.

Came in to look at Rav 4s on New Years Eve. Not one sales person was out side. When my husband and I win inside all the staff would look the other way a no one approach us. When I finally found a staff person talking to coworker I asked if they were working there And whether they could assist in pointing us in the right direction to look at used models. A gentleman walked out the door and pointed At the available vehicles and then returned indoors. No one came out to talk to us or enquire on whether we were interested in any of the models. Although I do not want somebody to hound me about a sale I would prefer that somebody come and ask me if I want assistance. I will not return to this dealership after the negative experience.

Salesman was very pushy and refused to acknowledge the issues that I made clear about the vehicle. The car had some slight body damage under the rear bumper cover, the rear bumper cover was not original and damaged, and the trunk lid was dented. The salesman insisted the only problem was the trunk lid and that we could have it fixed ourselves at another shop “for 200 dollars”. Pressured us quite a bit, was difficult to deal with, and would not make any accommodations for the issues. Needless to say we brought our business elsewhere.

I made an appointment for an oil change and two hours later I went to ask what was taking so long so the guy went to check he came back and said oh they’re getting to your car next! What’s the purpose of making an appointment if you have to wait over two hours just to get started. Horrible horrible service I will never bring my car back here for any maintenance or anything else for that matter this place sucks. They should at least have the decency to tell you you’re gonna wait that long just to be seen I would’ve canceled my appointment and went to Jiffy Lube or somewhere else
