Good for small stuff like an oil change, but they gave me a quote for some oil leaks that was a bit more expensive than the quotes I got from other places. Dont necessarily recommend for bigger work

Great customer service the receptionist was pite and thats what I look for in businesses she answered every question I needed and I was good to go!

Overpriced compared to other shops also worse quality and more wait time. They overcharge for parts and their labor price is insane. False diagnosis cost me 800, when I asked them to take a look they gave another false diagnosis and it took around 4-5 hours. I recommend actually taking yourself to an actual mechanic instead of taking it to any Tune Up and Quick Lube equivalents. Dont pay 100 for the diagnosis at any shop unless if your check engine light is off and there is a problem. If there is a check engine light autozone can tell you whats wrong free of charge using their equipment. All it takes is one google search to find a shop thats better than this one.

If I could give 0 stars I would because the customer service was horrible! I stood at the desk waiting for someone to come talk to me and no one every came. There were 2 or 3 guys that was in the garage area(not working) that looked right at me standing there and not one of them came to talk to me. Its quite unfortunate for them because I took it to a shop down the street and they got my$1900.00 for the work I needed done.

Went in for a smog, never told me they lost their license till I got there, had them do an oil change, they called me and said my check engine light was on, which it wasnt when I dropped it off, told me they could run a diagnostic test on it I said no, took it to a place in the neighborhood, passed with no problems, they try to scam you into things you dont need, thats called ripping people off.

They get the job done for my preventative maintenance, but sometimes I feel like theyre vultures when trying to sell. But overall, I go there for preventative maintenance, and good so far.

I didnt use this business for one reason the lady that worked there on Saturday May 29th was answering a few of My questions and along with answering my questions she proceeded to discredit others businesses of the nature. Never talk bad about other businesses to gain customers and I looked up their rating on Google. Its at a 3.7 the lowest rating out of All Sacramento county quality tune-up locations. Let me add one more thing I was told by one of the employees a few days prior that a oil change full synthetic would be $40 speaking to this young on Saturday the price became $80.

Very unprofessional customer service. There are two kinds of customer service reps . Ones who are professional and Second ones who act way too nice and sweet. Don’t trust the sweet and nice. The lady at the front desk called me sweety few times and winked her eye at me few times during conversation. Which is very very unprofessional. You are suppose to address your customers by Sir or Ma’am. I didn’t get any honest vibes from the front desk lady. I was kind of reluctant to leave my car there but I was so tired and had worked all night so I let them work on my car. It was my fault I didn’t read the reviews. I thought my instincts were wrong but 19 people have felt the same way as I did. Something is clearly wrong with the picture. If any business is rated less than 4.5 stars I don’t go there. Again it was my fault I didn’t read the reviews. They are rated 3.5 stars. 19 negative reviews WoW. An average Uber drivers rating is 4.7 stars. Will never go there again. I know an honest mechanic in the bay area. I don’t mind driving there next time. At least I will have peace of mind. Honest repair shops have positive vibes and are always rated more than 4.5 stars. I am not mad at anyone. I just can’t stand people with fake smiles. God bless you guys. If my radiator leaks again and control arms break I will get it towed to the bay area. Charges are different evertime when you go and when i showed the invoice for last week then store manager agreed to do the oil change on that same price. Thats not right.. this way you will lose customers. Thanks

Rating this place 5 stars because it deserves better than 3 1/2. I rolled in on a Saturday in December with no appointment, needing a smog check before the year ended. Told the clerk I had only about an hour, he assured me they could do a smog check and oil change and have me on my way. They recommended an air filter change but there was no pressure. Had a good experience.

I bought a headlamp bulb with the intent of installing it myself. But when I saw that I would have to get UNDER THE CAR!!! to install the headlamp bulb, I decided to find a shop who could do it for me. I remembered that my sister told me Quality on Northgate are good folks, so I called. When Edwin picked up phone, it was already 4:45 PM on Saturday (They close at 5). Edwin told me I could come now, and he would get the job done. When I pulled up to the shop at 5:03 PM he took me in and had my bulb installed. Edwin took the time to give me a precise price quote on the phone, and that is what I paid. These people are very helpful, and treated me so well despite my late arrival. Quality will be my shop from now on.

Under new management, got my car towed here because it wouldnt start and my battery wasnt holding a jump, they started working on it as soon as I got there. I thought I needed a new alternator and told them thats what I needed done and before they even started working on it they actually checked the alternator and turns out it was fine didnt need to be replaced and all I needed was a battery. Im definitely coming here again I felt that they were every honest and took care of what I needed to actually get done and didnt charge me for something I didnt need.. so Im giving this place 5 stars! Oh and the front receptionist was very friendly and had great customer service..

I did a lot of research before bringing my car to this location comparing to other locations. This is the most well deserved 5 star review Ive ever given. This location recently came under new management and I cannot express how happy I am with the attentive and friendly staff as well as how personable the management was. Not only that, but I came in completely convinced that I needed a brake change and they told me I didnt. They also told me that my car doesnt need the synthetic oil and recommended a cheaper one. This location is honest and will not sell you something you dont need. #customer4life

Here workers are completely incompetent in their work! This is the first! Secondly, they made an Appointment for the day to fill the air conditioner, called the car’s brand, called the car’s year for it, and came to them at 8 am the next day, then I’m sitting in the office waiting for my turn in 45 minutes will fill your car. I approach her and you looked right at the brand of liquid you’ll fill? It turned out they do not even have such freon for cars from 2018 2019. Although her colleague the day before said that they have everything for 2019 Chevrolet. Also, the state of the working boxes, the state of the territory is all very neglected and it looks scary! I do not recommend well that place for servicing your car!

I always take my car for oil change until today, where the woman bully me from not changing my brakes and the rotors with them. I have the choice to take wherever I want, if you offer free insprection as a courtesy is choice as a company, but you absolutely will not tell me that I have to choose you! Specially because your prices are high.UPDATE: Sadly instead of an apology, they write a long response with excuses! If you read properly I am disappointed because of the poor customer service, she could of easily suggested that they do this free inspections with the hope the customer will chose them to do the job. Instead she choose an aggressive tone and she knows it.Yes after giving a thought I decided to leave and yes o had to pick my child from school, but I could stayed for the 1 hr, but I won’t arguing with her.I talk to Jerry, someone in corporate, he seems to understand my point and he apologized. To the person who wrote this response...learn from him, a little bit of customer service training goes long ways!

Shop around people because this place jacks up the prices even on a simple oil change. They tried to charge me 57.00 and Northstar auto care, three blocks away only charged the competitive rate 37.00 for my Van. I give (un)Quality Tune-up 0 stars.

I took my car here with the expectation of having the oil changed with a coupon. Being 23 I though well what the heck why not? Bad idea!! They showed me some contraption and told me rodents had eaten my filter..umm so they said I should change it. Long story short I paid $90 and my car is violently shaking. im not taking my car back here. Ill take it to my regular mechanic thats what I get for trying to be cheap. Have fun dealing with the bureau of automotive repairs. And I hope you choke on the $90 you swindled me for. Hope it was worth it. You picked the wrong lady to get. All I have to say.

Are you kidding me quality........... where???came in 20 minutes before closing and asked if they could grease the upper and lower ball joints on the driver side(not hard 2wheel drive Tahoe) he said they were about to close and besides we dont even have a grease gun HAHAHAHAQuality and Lube neither title fits since you dont have a grease gun. Spend two more minutes and go to Jiffy Lube they did all 11 fittings in user 5min for free. After I only wanted 2 done......

They are not a very good shop ,, all they care about is getting your money, I doubt you will be happy if you go here,, I wish that I never had let them touch my car. The lady manager is a flake and has no business dealing with the public, she seems obsessed with wanting to share all the problems she has with her male employees with you . **DO Not let them service your car,, they will claim they can do anything in order to get your money****

My daughter and I were driving my Mother’s 1995 Buick Regal from SoCal to So Oregon. She has passed away and we wanted to bring the important things from her house back home. She was the original owner and was 97 when she passed, the car had only 70,000 miles. We had had it gone through top to bottom in SoCal before we left. Amongst a lot of other things, a new radiator was installed. We made it to Sacramento from SoCal, about 400 miles, and the car overheated (original shop installed THE WRONG RADIATOR). We got to Quality Tune-up and Mike, the head-person there was AWESOME. He pulled extra help in the very next day, fixed EVERYTHING and got us one our way the next day. He made SURE that we would be safe driving the last 300 miles to our home in Oregon. Cannot say enough about them going OVER AND BEYOND great customer service! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!

There are not very honest when solving issues. Needed to get an oil change, they kept wanting to add more jobs by saying it needed to change of transmission oil after I just changed it. Waste of time and money.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I went to do a smog check on my truck and didnt pass so I got everything fix and went back but to get it smog once more because it said free retest within 30 days but they said that they dont do that and that the person who put it there made a mistake and that I had to go all the way to Fair Oaks to get it done. The guy was incompetent and just plain rude.DONT GO TO THIS PLACE who knows what else they lie about. I took my car to get my smog done and the people are not honest and are liars and my car passed the smog but they print me out the paperwork and they said that it didn’t pass because they purposely disconnected it and had the nerve to tell me that they do it but my time in my stereo was different and even there they are dumb because they didn’t put my settings back so that’s how I knew they were lying and now the check engine light is in after I took my car there and now I don’t know what they did to my car 🚗 be careful because now I have to pay more money for it to get it fixed. Zero stars for me and don’t trust them and don’t go there so mad 😡

This is the worst place to go to and I truly advise you to stay away from here! Ive used Quality Tune-up in Redlands CA for over 5yrs best place ever so of course I wanted to continue in Northern Calif. These people are NON-mechanics, even the manager is bogus! He knew my tune-up wasnt done right by his guys and said I needed a Dianostic test $95, which came back stating the engine needed to be torn apart. I finally took it to a shop in West Sac (Im new to town) $280 spent on major tune-up, fuel injection cleaned and one other service (I cant recall), and the piece that comes off to do the tune-up Quality hadnt even put back on correctly, they had to pull apart with two by fours to fit it back on correctly!! Passed smog and Im back on the road again!! Stay away its not worth it. When the Manager lies to you its not worth going!

Ive used these guys for 6 years exclusively for my 90 Acura and they keep the old girl running like a top all the time. I plan to keep it up for as long as we both shall live.

This is one of the worst places Ive ever dealt with, they put an old used engine in my grandsons car and he has had nothing but trouble ever since, and would not stand by their work. Terrible customer service.

It was beyond terrible. He doesnt call you back to update whats the status on you car. I went the to have my EGR ports cleaned out he said it would be done by the end of the day. I called him and he foward my phone and just let it ring. I called Edwin back the next day and says he needs 3more days then 3more days come and still not cleaned.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!Do NOT go here unless you want to be lied to & ripped off.Id rate it zero if i could.My sister & i brought her car in 4 days ago & was told it could be picked up that same day at 6pm, but it wasnt ready, everyday after that it was supposedly going to be ready that day but its just getting postponed til the next day, we STILL dont have the car. My friend drove by the business a few times but the car was just sitting in the back not being worked on. I called the business over 20 times & not only did i not get a response but they managed to pick up a few times then hang up right after. Soo rude to not even keep me updated on my car when i was told it would be ready that very same day. We already paid up front as well which was a huge mistake trusting this mechanic.
