This shop is amazing! Matt is very friendly and also Maria the front desk lady she is very nice. I towed my f150 there for some work and Matt did a great job they got it fix and done same day. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs auto repair!! Thank you Matt and Carson auto!!

A friend recommended Carson and I only wish I knew about them sooner! I was impressed when I was greeted by name on my first visit. The technician took over 10 minutes with me on the phone to make sure I knew exactly what the plan was with my car and to answer any questions I had. 10/10 from start to finish!

Owner Physically Squared Off with me: First: Im a 60 year old peaceful tired Baby Boomer. I had Matt work on our brakes and when they later squeaked, he was wonderful and even replaced the pads again. So credit, where credit is due. Today, the counter lady, (Matts wife), and I had a frustrating encounter. I shouldve just talked to Matt about the mechanical symptoms and solutions, but she asked me what my question was, so thats how the discussion started. I DID get irritated about the specific verbiage she was using, and by the end, she was more irritated by my tone than my actual volume. I humbly apologized and told her Ill ask Matt about the brakes. Matt arrived to work about fifteen minutes later. Wife obviously called Matt, before he arrived. I smiled and waved hello as he approached. Matt immediately (angrily) said, Dont wave at me...Dont be yelling at my wife...You got something to say...Yell at me! Matt approached me toe-to-toe and literally physically Squared-Off with me. I replied, Okay lets talk. (I just wanted to talk about the brake squeaks). Matt definitely was trying to Bully me, and when I didnt back down, he angrily turned around, wouldnt talk to me at all, and said, Just leave, Im not working on your car! Ive changed thousands of brakes...I dont need to deal with your brakes and your little squeak! Matt DID refund us for the second brake pads, (again, credit where credit is due), but: #1: Matts wife definitely embellished and raised the stakes exponentially for Matt to be so angry when he arrived. #2: As a business owner, its TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE to physically square-off with a customer, without even first having a discussion and evaluating the situation. Many of Matts customers have given him five stars; however, in this scenario, Matts wife (obviously) figured shed get the last word in and escalated the incident, and Matt felt like he was justified in defending his wifes honor. But again, as a business owner, come on guy! At least open a dialog! And DEFINITELY DO NOT SQUARE OFF with a non-combative old man customer thats trying to open a dialog. Extremely disappointed with his conduct...unnecessary...potentially violent...sarcastic...UNPROFESSIONAL. Matt and Wife: We customers arent always perfect, and sometimes we get frustrated. It wasnt personal, and for goodness sakes, if the customer apologizes, take the high road please!

I found myself in urgent need of a new battery less than an hour before I had to pick my son up from school, and the excellent folks at Carson’s replaced it on no time flat. This was my second time taking my car there and I was also very happy with the service, value, and efficiency during my first experience. Thank you, Carson!!!

I bring my honda 1996 accord to fix my A/C the first day so far so good,.they charge me around 200 for some fittings and refill a/c plus labor, Next day the a/c stop working , then I make appointment to find out why is not working no more,. Finally after 4 hours waiting they told me the car has a broke line and I need to get one to the junk, which I not gonna loose my time and money fo find one.. at the time they dont want return any money or guarantee the job they perform.. very disappointed and worst part the guys said buy a new car. Please before bring any car here think twice

I was driving to Reno from SF Bay Area when I picked up a piece of metal in a tire. They patched and balanced the tire in less than an hour at a fair price. The service was great and the employees were outstanding! If I lived in Sac. I would go there for all of my automotive needs.

HONEST and FAIR. I couldn’t wait to write this review, and I very rarely write reviews. I had my brakes and rotors done, and Carson’s allowed me to supply my own parts, while other auto shops claimed that me supplying my own parts would be a “liability issue” so they could try to get more money out of me. I’ll definitely be returning here.

Matt and his guys do a great job weather its something small like patching a tire or a major repair. They are great about keeping the cost to what they quoted you and make sure to fix anything else they might notice. Plus they are great about getting back to you in a timely manner. I am and will be a repeat customer.

Great people and great service. I always worry about being overcharged for service not needed, but Carson Automotive gave me service needed and DID NOT charge me. I blew the motor in my 09 Pilot thinking it was done. The previous owner changed the timing belt but not the tensioning pulley go figure. So I was stuck with an 8thousand dollar paperweight. But shes back at it and better than ever thanks to Matt and his crew... minus a couple thousand of course but I should get another 100,000 out of her at least.
