This is a beautiful store right in the center of midtown. There atmosphere is so peaceful that you can feel your breathing slow and a calming feeling take over. The items for sale are spiritually uplifting and unique. Its a great place to buy a special gift, or just something for your own personal space.

I used to not like this place due to the lack of spiritual merchandise and more focused on AA stuff. However, this place has had a huge turn around and has many wonderful objects and gifts. I would highly recommend going to this cute little store. :)

This is a great place if you need some healing in your life. I went there for a 9 year sobriety chip. Upon walking in I could tell this was not all they carried. The beautiful smell of sage and pure positivity upon entering. I could see healing crystals, books, and meditation bowls. Highly recommended!

Very nice place. Make sure you have at least an hour to explore. The staff is very nice and friendly. I will visit again when I return to Sacramento. They also have a large variety of natural and earthly accessories to chose from.

There are also items AA/NA related so if anyone is in recovery, this is a great spot to buy birthday chips and milestone birthday cards.The store always smells amazing, there are fabulous books to read/purchase, the staff is helpful and cordial. This is a great store and I shop here for 99% of the things I need for my journey. Its amazing store and very peaceful.

The young(plant) girl that works there is great but the older ladies are rude and unwelcoming. There is no sunlight and the spirit is dark.

I bought a Bowie-themed tarot deck but upon inspection didnt find much Bowie there so I attempted to return it a few hours later. The woman who sold me the deck asked me to wait to speak with Robin. After waiting a several minutes Robin approached the counter and the other woman explained the situation.Robin: (looking at the deck on the counter, frowned and shook her head) No. I cant sell that without the plastic wrapping.Me: you cant sell it without the cellophane? There are other decks that arent wrapped in plastic over there. I couldnt look at the deck without opening it.R: Online. You could have looked online. How would I know you didnt take five cards out?Me: you could count the cards.R: (folds arms across chest and steps back) Im not going to count the cards!Me: so what your saying isnt that you cant sell it without the plastic its that you dont want to count the cards?R: Im not going to count the cards!Me: I wont be shopping here again and Ill be sure to leave you a review.R: good!I cant remember the last time a store attendant was so rude, much less the owner! Perhaps Ill take her advice and just go online next time - $16.49 on Amazon & $40 here!

I get really good vibes from this store. Ive been to other metaphysical stores in the area and this one is the best. They even cleared the energy from my stones/crystals before they bagged themUp, I bought two awesome tarot decks from here as well. This store has a little bit of it all. From Tibetan singing bowls to orgonite. I just feel like the people here are genuine

Amazing place. All types of books and items to choose from. The best part was Nancy a medium who dies readings there. She was beyond amazing. Incredible accurate, told me things from my mom who has passed that no one but me and my sister know. (My sister lives out if state and has never been here) and this was my very first time in the store or meeting Nancy. I am still blown away but her incredible gift! Cant wait to get back there.

Sunlight was my favorite place in Midtown and the only metephysical shop I would ever consider hoping to, but Sunlight went through many changes, management and owners, for a while it was no longer the place I loved.😞But a new delightful owner took over. Great place to buy gifts like mini spirit animals with cards which accompany them, attributes of the spirits, I gave them as gifts to my nieces and nephews and they loved it. Great place for cool amulets and jewelry, energy stones, knowledgeable friendly staff always. Check out the orgone amulets, very unique. Advice for healers by healers and wounded healers (lots of anonymous related affirmational trinkets and books). I wander around in here for an hour at a time just getting lost in all the cool offerings. Learn how to meditate. Get your tarot cards read. Get your aura read. That sort of thing. New age is so passe a dismissal of these sorta things. Try east meets west or spiritual journey and you are getting closer to the value of the place. Love it.

Ive been going here for a long time because they have a larger selection than any other shop of its type in Sacramento.The reason for the loss of star was that the store used to be much more affordable but now everything is so expensive I can no longer afford to shop there.
