I love everything about Barnes & Noble. Except their prices. Their stores are always clean and well stocked. My only complaint is the high prices. I typically stick to the sale books. But I can see, touch and skim through the books to see which authors look good or which books I want to buy. Mamy times I can find the books cheaper at another discount store or on amazon. I did join their membership to get 10% off my total bill each time. I have saved more than the membership, so I have found it worth the money.

This Barnes & Noble is probably the smallest in the Sacramento Area, the isles are a bit compact that is, the place is very clean and its one kf those locations where its worth looking at because the other locations might not have the same book.The organization is a little weird, and can be difficult navigate especially on the weekends, the best part about this location is how convenient it is and how much it has, it can be hard to find a specific book if youre having trouble aswell.

I can’t say enough good things about Barnes & Noble. Great store & great group of employees.

Good selection of books. Not a fan of being asked every time I go in if I want to sign up for their rewards? card. I understand they have to ask, but somewhat irksome

I go here for manga all the time and the staff is always really nice to me. New books come in on a regular basis which is awesome

They have a much larger selection of manga than I expected. Of course, like any standard book store, they have all sorts of genres. I found myself spending some time in the sci-fi section and picked up some neat Star Wars novels.

Horrible customer service - called for a magazine at 10:30am, the woman read the issue number to me so I know that she had one in hand but it didnt occur to me that I would need to put it on hold. So I got there by 12:30pm and all copies were gone and no one admitted to be the one who spoke to me, and then proceeded to dismiss me with a sorry and have a good day while walking away from me. Left with no magazine, and angry at time & gasoline wasted and their lack of concern about it.

This location has a great variety of books and very nice staff. The store is very clean.

Helpful / Knowledgable staff. The lady helping us offered to try another store to find our book. Then called and had it put on hold for us.

And these days and times its so nice to have a place that family friendly and that you can actually hold a book in your hand instead of always ordering things online that you cant see or touch you are appreciated ones and nobles! ♥️✌️

Store was well stocked. Some of my favorite booksellers (Bill) were in the store. So much merchandise in the store! Fun to look through books and blank notebooks.

Great people and i got some great info but I was really hoping to get a coffee and sit and browse and theres none of that anymore. Not a chair in sight!

Books books books! What more could a person ask for? Well alot but if you love books you will be content. Manga? Got it. Sci Fi? Got it. Strategy gaming guides? Well you get the idea. Will always be number one when I am in need of a good book! Thanks for the great recommendations everyone!

Just something about walking into a store like this its like wow there are So many things to be learned experienced where do you start! I love Art.. painting.. drawing.. photography.. architecture.. where do i stop.. its a smorgasbord of every delicacy you could imagine pick up a little something and start the ball rolling is all you can do.. enjoy

Understaffed and disorganized. Waits at the help desk take a very long time and if you manage to track down a staff member theyre always busy with someone or something else and will vaguely point you toward a section. Books are often not in the right sections so its hard to find what you need. Long lines, crowded aisles, and no effort to maintain social distancing.

They have a wide variety of books. Comfortable furniture, if you wish to grab a book and start reading. Good ambient sounds playing in the background.

Very awesome layout thats easy to navigate. I had trouble finding a specific comic book, (turned out only 1 on hand) and not only did I have one employee but two come and help me look for it, while also checking inventory, chatting, and offering suggestions. Found the comic and I left a very happy customer!

Love this place. They even have a coffee shop inside. You should try it out.

Staff was courteous and everything was organised. I loved the simple layout of the store and how the books were arranged alphabetically. I found what I was looking for and also made a list of things I could look forward to eventually purchase on my next visit.

Its a Barnes and Noble ... Exactly what youre expecting.

If there was ever a time for books it is during a Pandemic! While if course I am not out of things to read getting to a book store was nice. It was pretty empty as well which was nice. The cashier saw my Firefly purchase and we both reminisced over what could have been. He also brought up a few shows I knew about but hadnt seen due to circumstances. All in all, great experience.

Check out the Book Annex section for discounts on books. May well pick up a membership for $20, $25 if youre gonna buy a lot of books. May be worth it.

Always great to find a well stocked bookstore. And the one in Roseville has my favorite Kirsten Weiss mysteries. Ill definitely be going back to the Roseville store more often!

Great location! Social distancing is taken fairly serious by the mall area so you can only enter from certain doors on each mall area. Feels nice and safe when I stopped in.

Wanted to come by and learn Russian and get the kit, but “no we don’t sell it due to not liking Russia” what’s it has to do with politics? It’s language jesus. Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, German, and more, but no RUSSIAN.

I love coming after the holidays for any clearance items that are unique... Support this location because its one of the last where you can casually stroll and enjoy a decent book! Great manga selection!

So there are a lot of good books there I will give them that, and honestly there shelf organization has gotten better. But for me I really wish that they would break the genres up in to sub genres. Like how sci fi has, space, cyberpunk, sci-fi fantas, and the likes. So for someone like me thats trying to find a particular sub-genre its a pain. Also could really do with more sci-fi and the likes in general.I still recommend going you will find something that catches your interests.

Help desk is closed due to covid so I had to stand in line twice, but the staff was very helpful, and I found the book I was looking for.

Ive got to say as someone that loves to read loves this store. So many books to choose from and gift ideas for Christmas which is coming up. With the store always comes great customer service. Even if you dont end up with buying a book you may find a new author that youll love and have time to just sit down and relax and read a few chapters.
