Very authentic German food. We orderd the schnitzel and bratwurst and it tasted like we remembered when in Munich. The potato salad was delicious. Also had apple strudel to top it all off. We liked the concept of ordering in line and getting the food delivered at your table. Makes the process go very fast. Staff was very courteous and the clientele was friendly. We shall return.

This outdoor beer garden is so authentic, it makes you feel like you are having a beer in Germany. I recommend the pretzel for an appetizer and the Schnitzel with garlic fries for your entree! The belgium waffle sandwhich bread that they use for their Belgies (sandwiches) make for an awesome meal and treat too! Specifically the Birdie Belgie is delicious with the turkey bacon avocado and special garlic sauce. The portions are just right so you have plenty of room to fill up on the beers on taps. Try the Starburst this summer for a refreshingly fruity beer! I cant wait to come back for Oktoberfest.~Cheers~

Super chill outdoor beer garden. The seating is shaded and has misters. The beer options are good and the beertenders were nice. Definitely heading back.

Drinks were amazing! We got a drink with banana flavor (cant remember the name) but it was so fresh and good! We got the beignets and fried green tomatoes too and they were so so good! The fried green tomatoes had an aioli sauce that was amazing! The service was fast! He was nice to bring us out the specials! Will definitely come here again when we visit! 10/10!

Beer selection is one of the more diverse for Sacramento beer locations. Ambiance is great, they have vegan food options, and the misting in the summer is exactly what you need. Overall, its one of the best casual hangout locations in Sacramento.

The Beer was great and diverse. If you are unsure if you may like one of the many selections they do offer a free sampling taste. The bar tender was 💯 in his knowledge of all of the different beers. Also they have Jamisons Irish whiskey on tap. The meal was great with authentic style warm potato salad as well as various sausages. I would have given 5 stars but they had removed an item from the menu monte Cristo sandwich but had not updated the menu unfortunatly. Otherwise excellent all around and they even have dog treats for those of you who get hungry while walking your best friend.

Delicious mustard dogs had the perfect snap on a soft but sturdy German bun. Yummy soft pretzel with swirled mustard and beer cheese dips. Battered and crispy fries were good too. Good hefeweißen and classic biergarten feel equipped with shady awnings with long benches and greenery.

Nice atmosphere. Great for a hot afternoon. If you are missing Germany or German food and Beer, give it a shot. Its very close to authentic, depending on the region of Germany you are from. Mom and I are from a different region as the owners of this place, so the food was ok, but not the same as we would be used to. The food portions need improvement compared to their prices.

Bietgarten is a staple for us in midtown. Great beer selection, pretzels, sausage, etc. All the seating is outdoor, and sometimes they have live music. I usually prefer to go off hours (Im a little noise sensitive), but tastes vary I suppose.

THIRTY FIVE MINUTES to place my order for two beers and a pretzel and sit down. 10 of those minutes were me at the window waiting to place my order. This was a Saturday afternoon. Youd think theyd have more staff or a better system by now.Overcrowded small space. Hardly a Biergarten. Ive seen dives with better patio space that they dont call a Biergarten.Probably wont go back unless they reevaluate their slow service.

One of my favorite places in town to grab a beer. Great selection of German/Belgian/foreign beers served by the pint, half liter, or full liter (más Kruger)! There are German fest style long wooden tables with beer umbrellas, which are great for sitting around while drinking a beer with friends. It’s a good place to come with yours kids as they have sandbag toss and a giant chalk board to write. The beers are crisp and delicious and the fest food (sausage and pretzel) they serve is decent. On a nice day you could spend hours here soaking in the sun and drinking beers with friends.

This is a great place, just be careful if you are a girl what shoes you wear because the tables and everything outdoors are in a fine grained dirt that will get into your sandals, heels etc.

Came to have drinks & food Tuesday after a long day , had the best bartender/Server Miguel, explained all the different drinks, Miguel was really outgoing , great food and drinks, with great friendly service , totally recommend this place, can’t wait to come back and hang with our new favorite bartender.

Given all the COVID-19 guidelines, Biergarten did an AMAZING job. There was ample space for everyone and everything was socially distant. I didnt feel stressed about anything. The drinks are always good and their garlic fries are to die for!

I was there Saturday night, so should have known that it would be busy af. Regardless, the place has great beer and food. We waited in line for around 30 minutes to order food and get seated. We got their most famous drink which is the Starburst, ordered some pretzels and a sandwich. We grabbed our beer and headed to an empty table. The drink tasted really good and was very pleasing. The food was brought out within like 20 minutes. Pretzels tasted fresh and the cheese sauce hit the spot. After finishing the first round of drinks, I wanted to order more but was informed that I had to go wait in line again. At least this time I would be in front of the line. I don’t see why the servers bringing the food were unable to just take the quick order of fries and a round of beers. Regardless, an excellent local spot with great beer. Worth it IMO

Biergarten is a nice corner spot in midtown. The food is good, but best paired with a beer for optimal taste. PLEASE NOTE: This place is hard to get to on a weekend. Parking in midtown is very packed so expect to walk a distance when you arrive. Other than that, add this to your bar hopping list when you’re around. It’s a cool place and the bartender for brunch is a cool guy.

The environment of this place is relaxed and very enjoyable. The grapefruit beer slushies are amazing and I would go back solely for those. I havent been back during Covid to see what precautions they have in place, but look forward to returning when it is safe to do so.

My wife and I enjoyed the eigen German beers here. The garlic fries were also good; crisp and slightly tart; not the usual soggy, heavy flavor we find elsewhere. Every other table is empty, providing adequate social spacing during corona season. A mister provides cooling in the all-outdoor seating area. The table areas have dried, powdery dirt beneath them, so dont expect your dogs to stay clean here. A server did bring a big bowl of water for our dog while we were there, so Id call them pet friendly. Each refill requires a trip to the front counter, where guests already seated compete with new arrivals for the opportunity to order more food and drinks. On this October Saturday evening, the crowd was not big enough to make the wait for refills more than a few minutes.The restrooms are not very clean, but Ive seen worse.My wife wants to go back for more.

This place is dirty and the drinks are insanely expensive. $35 for two beers. I get the dirt ground, but clean up the tables if youre going to have a dirt ground. They also need se decent vegetarian options

This place is no doubt one of the most attractive place in the neighborhood. Whenever I come there I am extremely satisfied. They preserve their very high level service and the topmost level of food they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Hopefully it’s the Covid crew but the sausages was over cooked and almost cardboard like it’s been sitting out. Beer still good. Too much $$$$ for what it is
