The only place I go for those comfort food items from my childhood. Staff is friendly and always working hard. Wish we spoke the same language, but I can usually manage alright. Always have the great prices. Even better than stores like safeway and target on a lot of items. Some call it strange. Some call it exotic. Try doing your grocery shopping here next time your in the mood to switch things up

Generations of my family have shopped here. This little shop was my great-grandmothers favorite store in Sacramento. So its a mixed bag. Ive had numerous experiences in store that were uneventful, even pleasant and some that made me rethink my patronage. At the end of the day the items I want are there and the location is convenient. The hot food and produce are good. Dont be put off by stop in; its a cute place.

Rude customer service. Arrived when staff were having their lunch. They dont even care or explain how long that they start working. Waited about 20 mins after they finished their food and wondering around. They dont practice a thing called take turn to eat. Give attitude when ordering food. RUDE!!!

Very interesting food market, lots of herbs and spices along with live fish of many varieties. If youre looking to try your hand at Orental food the right way, this is a great place to start.

Small, but got most of what you need from an Asian market. They are cash only, so keep that in mind. They have the best Chinese roast duck, roast pork, and barbecue pork in Sacramento. Much better than the places in South Sacramento. Selection is limited with other items, and maybe a little pricier, but the produce is always fresh.

This is a pretty sad supermarket and not easily seen from the street; its tucked in the back and theres about 10 parking spaces.The food choice here are nothing spectacular, but their seafood (the ones in the tank) are fresh. Their rest of the supermarket is made up of about 4 lanes of groceries and thats it. But, they do have most of the commonly used Asian sauces and dried goods.

I love to cook and this store is a block away from my house. I rarely go here though unless I need something for an Asian or Indian food dish. They have a huge selection of sauces that can be really useful and some decent Asian produce. They also have meat and fish but I personally dont really trust the quality of it because of the smell in that part of the store. And if you expect to be greeted pleasantly or even acknowledged you are in the wrong place! But that could be a cultural thing, I dont know. Otherwise, the prices on things like coconut milk and curry paste cant be beat.

ABSOLUTELY RUDEST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN. i walked in and all the employees looked at me. They had an Open sign up and customer in and begin yelling we close we close! Then one asked me what im looking for. They appointed me to the right place but while i was in the aisle 4 employees stared at me as i browsed. Then when i was going to go to the next aisle they staryed yelling at me WE CLOSE GO HOME GO HOME. Definite racial profiling and discrimination do not recommend will never go again.
