DON’T JOIN UNLESS YOU WANT BOXES SHIPPED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS WITH NO WAY TO CHANGE ADDRESSES. Emailed the company more than five times about an address change. They have been unable to change my shipping address as requested. They shipped boxes I paid for and sent to the wrong address. On the fifth attempt I made to contact them- they changed my billing address but not my shipping address. On my sixth attempt contacting them, I asked them to remove the incorrect address and make sure it did NOT appear anywhere on the account so it wouldn’t continue to confuse them. (They had the wrong address, still.). They did the opposite, and changed the one corrected address back to the incorrect address. So I’m back to square one. I’ve tried emailing only the correct address, explaining in multiple ways, using emphasis bold on the correct address and all caps and still no correction. I’m not sure if the people who work there don’t speak English, can’t read, if they are mentally incompetent, or they are just trying to overcharge me by supposedly sending boxes to the wrong address unless I ‘skip’ them. Regardless DO NOT JOIN. YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO CHANGE ADDRESSES OR CANCEL no matter how many times you ask.

First of all, the box itself is great! The included products are unique and useful. I have to say its the best box subscription weve had. Secondly, and perhaps even more importantly, their customer service is just awesome! I sent them a Facebook message and got a response back within seconds. My husband had accidentally signed up for a duplicate subscription and they helped me out in no time. Breo box rocks!

The whole box was filled with cool gadgets and new tech, it went over really well. I’m really disappointed in this service. I wanted to like it so much! The earbuds that came in the winter 2020 box broke rather quickly. The left one just stopped connecting, the sound quality was great but what does it matter if you can only hear out of the right ear? The coffee cookie didn’t come with a charger and that was weird so it just sits there waiting to be used. The design of the soap dispenser was really odd it’s intended to be touchless but the barrel of the dispenser is so thick that your hand always touches it when you put your hand underneath the soap spout. I think it’s flawed by design. Then with normal subscriptions that I have usually about a week before the charge appears on your card you will be informed and asked to look over you order etc. With this subscription all of a sudden I get one email that says my box is coming, I’ve been charged, and guess what here’s your tracking info! No time to consider anything else. It is my own fault for not remembering what day of the month the charge would appear, but now my bills are going to be jacked up because of this “no warning” charge on my debit card. What was intended to be something fun has been nothing but inconvenience and disappointment. My advice, read what is in the boxes once they’ve been released, look up similar products in the industry, even possibly on Amazon, and purchase those! You’ll be much happier if you do this!

Got my first box and disappointed. The touch less dispenser does not work and therefore the soap is also useless. The coffee cookie which I was looking forward to using does not come with a charger and I can’t find a charger that fits it so another useless item. Haven’t used the 3 items yet so cannot rate but half the items I did receive are not usable. Will wait for one more box before cancelling but they are going to have to do much better.Follow-up: Breo contacted me about this review and immediately rectified the problem. Very fast and courteous service and I am very impressed with the way they handled this. I feel good about continuing my subscription knowing they care about their customers.

This review is specifically for the Spring 2021 box.This is the worst box in the last 1.5 years i am subscribing. If you plan to subscribe, please wait for the reveal and deicide yourself. You can order all of them (& you wont need all of them for sure), for less than $80.And the box itself came broken. External package is perfectly good. It seems Breo knows that the wooden box is broken and still sent it.I cancelled it and might consider only if the future boxes improve.

Out of all the subscription boxes Ive tried, this has by far been the worst and probably the most over-priced one as well considering the highly inflated prices they give for each item in a box.Their customer service is absolutely shameful. Wouldnt recommend this subscription box to anyone simply because it isnt worth having to deal with their customer service when you inevitably decide to cancel the subscription.

First and last box. Fall 2020 was very underwhelming. The only decent item was the smart lock. The contents of the box did not add up past $120 and when you’re paying $159, well that’s just a rip off. It included a cheap “travel toothbrush” that was broken, a light therapy device that is too ugly to display anywhere for use, a yeti rambler too big to fit in a cup holder, an egg timer, a keyboard cleaner brush, and a suction cup hook which doesn’t even have a proper hook to hold stuff. It was truly a waste of money. The box it came in was nicer and probably cost more than a few of the items. I don’t see this company lasting much longer if they continue with these items. You’re better off waiting to see what the box is after it’s released and buy it as a one time purchase.

Been a subscriber for over two years now. I was very impressed and found it fun and worthwhile in the first several boxes, but over time it’s gotten a little less enjoyable, repetitive and quality of products seem to be hit or miss in each box. I’m not sure I will continue after this next membership expires but I want it to succeed, so I’m hanging on for a few more boxes and hope Breo gets back to what it was.For example:The first several boxes arrived in a nice nice wooden box, they were sized as needed for the products and kept everything safe and well packed. It wasn’t perfect, but it was “special” and it had utility after shipping.Now it all comes in a cardboard box; it’s not an Amazon brown box, but more like a nice electronics product box. But product shift and bounce around in shipping and it’s clear it’s not at the same/initial quality.Now, onto the products in general. There was great variety it types of products and brands. Often I liked the ideas of the product and I would enjoy trying out the new products and making them part of my life. Even resulting in me buying additional units for gifts for others. If there wasn’t something you like/wanted you knew someone who would appreciate it and see it as a nice gift.In recent months, I’m seeing one or two products at most, that seem like something of interest or something new I’m excited to try. The quality of some of the smaller products don’t live up to expectations. Many rechargeable products don’t ship with charging cables or outlets (clearly a cost saving measure.) From box to box, I’m getting products that feel repetitive either in what they do, or from the same manufacturer.For example, Show me one type of UV cleaning product, if I like it, I’ll look into getting more. But don’t send me a new UV cleaning product every other box.Often these companies are spin off brands that do not have a strong online presence. So you cannot find documentation, ordering info or manuals on line. If it’s a battery product they don’t last as long as you would expect.If a company has a great product, they should share that one product and encourage cutomers to see what else they offer. Don’t give us a bunch of mediocre products from a company that only specializes in replicating other products.One recent exception to this was a $30 Yeti cup in one of the boxes. It’s my first Yeti, and a nice product with a good chance of me wanting to use it a lot, but unlike any other item I recall; there was a dominate Breo Box logo etched into the cup. They used this quality product in hopes you would help promote their product. But they never did this with other products. Seems more like a marketing product for Breo then a traditional product I expected from the BBox.So there’s a lot of negative thoughts above, why am I staying subscribed? It started as a gift to me and I liked it a lot. In the early boxes it was a present every quarter and worth the cost per box exceeding what was paid. Now, The cost is high, but I do feel when you look at a couple boxes together, you can justify the cost, maybe not exceed but it does meet the price paid.The two time’s I had an issue customer service, Breo Box has been amazing, they do care and do go out of their way to try and please the customers. I have been very impressed with them on this alone and feel like a company willing to try deserves opportunities to correct the path.I also understand it’s a growing business, and while they grow to meet increased demand they are trying new practices to fulfill demand and turn a profit. If they want to get better they will and I’ll stay on with them, but if it continues in this path, and I feel like the value is limited, I will not renew.

Featured item of only box we got was a tiny projector that is sold under tons of random names on Amazon for peanuts ($10 or less). No way does this box offer real value of quality products.Additionally, my wife in writing requested Breobox to cancel membership - they did not, and subsequently charged for next quarter anyways. Now are refusing refund upon immediate request to cancel with evidence of email trail with representatives for an unfulfilled pre-order.Took their customer service an entire week to respond to multiple email requests to cancel.Awful company, save your money, and dont be tricked by their shady value.

Since Covid has made it hard to go shopping in person, I have decided to do a lot more online shopping. However when buying online you are searching for something specific and when I was trying to buy something for my dad, it was really difficult. So I decided to go with a Breo box because no one knows whats in it and its just all a surprise for every one. Breo was perfect because my dad loves gadgets and latest trending items. While the box was filled with interesting stuff, the anniversary box was marketed as coming in a puzzle box. That was a bit misleading for anyone who knows what a puzzle box is. In Breos case, its just a box shoddily constructed from pieces that look like a puzzle. Worse yet, the puzzle box fell apart before it could be even taken out of the cardboard shipping container. This was also after we patiently waited through two rounds of shipping delays. Wont be ordering again.

2020-21 Winter Box: MehWhile Breo Box is a nice company, terrific customer service, and a cool idea, the latest offering is pretty mundane. Given that its the time of the year when CES used to meet, winter should be their most exciting. Sadly, its a box most can do without.The Breo Box winter 2020-21 box is filled with unremarkable and downright cheap items. Starting with the most expensive item, the LSTN The Palladium wireless earbuds. While they sound pretty good when listening to music, the mic for using them on phone calls is terrible. The people I was talking to said it sounded like I was speaking to them from under a blanket. Also, the shape and fit of the buds could use some work. Walking around my house, the buds would fall out after about 10 steps. Ive yet to take them outdoors for fear that theyll fall out on the ground or into a storm drain. Also, Breo is a little deceptive when saying on their site that the buds cost $129 when on the LSTN website theyre only $99.Next is the UV sanitizer, the Lume wand. Since Im not a scientist, I cant speak to its effectiveness, I can only speak to ease-of-use. The small surface area the Lume covers and the 10 second per area requirement limits the utility of the wand to small items like keys and phones. Doing anything larger (car doors, subway seats) would take an inordinate amount of time.At least Lume exists as a company. The next two items come from companies that dont exist or, at least, dont have websites (which in 2021 equates to no exist). The Sohp touchless soap dispenser and the Casalink smart WiFi plugs. I went looking for the websites because, unlike the other reviewers, my soap dispenser delivered too much soap! I couldnt find any company on the web called, Sohp. I was trying to figure out how to moderate the amount that poured out of it. After the usuall expected amount, people pull their hand away before its done pouring. You end up with a minor mess and a lot of wasted soap (the soap that comes in the box is just expensive liquid soap, nothing special).Also, Casalink doesnt exist. When trying to set up the outlets on a generic app, they dont connect to my Pixel phone. I went to look for the website to try and troubleshoot. Theres nothing on the box that indicates how to contact the company. Also, I couldnt find a Casalink company on the internet. Without connection to your phone theyre basically unusable. Two product fails.The last item in the box actually sounded pretty cool - except that it only works with paper cups. Like many people, Ive stopped using paper cups for coffee. I use a Yeti tumbler because of the environmental impact and the effectiveness of the tumbler in keeping drinks hot (or cold). I was hoping that the cookie would go *in* the mug to heat the coffee not the mug. Nope. Its a coffee trivet. You set your coffee on it and it warms the outside of the cup, helping warm the coffee inside (they say it will work with ceramic and glass mugs but thats pretty inefficient). I guess in this time of COVID and few coffee shops allowing you to use your personal mug, its handy.In a nutshell, the winter Breo box is pretty underwhelming. Save your money, get a pair of Skull Candy or Anker wireless earbuds, a Yeti tumbler, and a Method hand soap dispenser. If youre a real germaphobe you can get the Lume product off their website.

The first box that I received was 3 months after I paid the $500+ price tag. I ordered the subscription on May 20th and the box showed up August 25th. Communication with the company was slow and rude at times. The first box was lacking in product for the cost and was actually missing a product as well. It was later shipped out separately. For the cost, headache of dealing with customer service, and the not so great items, we will not be renewing our subscription.

Fantastic Box every time I get one I love it more and more the items are trendy on point and fantastic for the small price you pay. There is NO way you can get all the things in these boxes for the price its a total deal. I adore the crate it comes in too I reuse them and they are beautiful and useful. Winter Breo BoxI was really hard on Breo for their Fall box - and rightfully so. The winter box had much more value to me! Got it just in time for Christmas, too! The Touchless soap/hand sanitizer dispenser and the Cookie cup warmers were my favorite items. The wireless earbuds and sanitizing wand were my second favorites. There were a couple more things to round out the box but it was definitely a much better than the fall offerings. I have two more seasons to look forward to do fingers crossed. On the strength of this box I’ll keep my subscription!

I absolutely love this company!! I’ve subscribed to many different boxes over the years and this one definitely is my favorite. Every product is unique BUT also useful which is something that many subscriptions fall flat with. The items in breo are gadgets that you will get great use out of, and I’m saying this just based off of their summer 2019 box. Their customer service is also amazing. I sent a question in today and received an answer within an hour. I highly recommend this as a gift for a 20 something year old (I’m 23). Maybe for the holidays which are sneaking up quickly ;)

I’ve always wanted to be a part of some sort of gift box subscription service. I have friends who do makeup subscription boxes, clothing ones, etc., but they were ones I wasn’t too interested in. I came across Breo Box & out of curiosity dug in further to what they offered in previous boxes. What caught my attention were the brand names they partnered with curating each of their seasonal boxes. I also loved how their boxes seemed to fit a theme or was relevant to the season. Some may think the price per box is a bit high, but you also have to consider what comes in the box totaled together if you were to actually buy each product individually. In the end, I feel the price is perfect for what you get! I’ve been a subscriber for about 3 years now & I’ve found a use for almost all the things I’ve gotten so far, whether it be for myself or perfect to gift to someone else! Some of my favorites have been the Fujifilm portable printer, the PhoneSoap, my Ember mug and plenty more! I highly recommend this subscription box service for anyone looking for an assortment of products ranging from lifestyle, fitness, hobbies, etc! There will be something for everyone in each box! Always cool and useful items and even if it’s not something I personally would use I know I have a great gift for someone else when the time comes. Other people get excited when my box comes in too...I have to say “get back! Step away from the BREO Box!” Lol! Outstanding customer service too. I would take off a star because they no longer send the wooden boxes but I may get over it...probably not...but I’ll see if it makes better changes to the box first before I take off a star. I’ve subscribed to Breo box for at least 9 quarters now. Some boxes, mainly the earlier ones, were better than others. Some items I received became staples in my house - like the sonic toothbrush, the ember coffee cup, cold brew coffee maker and keys smart pro, while others made outstanding gifts like the nutcracker bowl set, Dodow sleep aid device, Tex training system and alien wireless earbud but some of the stuff is so useless it makes me angry. Like the bed scrunchie, yoga manual and air fly’s wireless audio because it requires another device.To strengthen their knowledge of hits and misses, they really ought to request feedback on each item to their subscribers. Also it would be nice if with each feedback request, they include a what would you like to see suggestion.

I only do a couple of subscription boxes. Breobox is usually my favorite. They search far and wide for interesting and surprisingly useful items in tech, lifestyle and health. Its always fun to get the box, they give a few spoilers and the rest is a surprise. My favorite thing so far has been ... Well I started that sentence with one thing in mind, but I realized I have several items in and around the house that I use all the time, like daily and more than once daily that I would miss if they disappeared... TRX and salt shakers, shoe cleaning fantasticness... Worth the price ... Not exactly luxury items, but toward a better life items. Things that make life easier, more interesting, less perfunctory, are things that will make life itself more luxurious. Toward that end, I would recommend breobox.

Been subscribed for over a year and I love it every month even more. Every time I get a box I think one item will be my favorite yet, once I start using them all, another item that I never thought off ends up being the one I fall in love with and use on a daily basis. Im a very techy person trying to be more healthy and this box is perfect in every way. They partner with great brands for good quality products and they always curate the experience so it makes sense with the season and with all the items included in the box. I havent been disappointed by any product so far and I love the wood boxes that they use! Theyve been perfect for diy projects at home and gift boxes for Christmas or birthdays! Right now the products I use on a daily basis that Ive gotten through them are: ember mug, french press, alien headphones, food scale, defrosting tray, tile keychain and finder, shower speaker, diffuser, hydropod.... I could go on seriously I use what I get in this box so much I feel like if its made for me lol Im their fan :)
