Im new to the area and this is my first time looking for a repair shop. Jason was great to work with. He returned my phone call quickly - on a Sunday! - and gave me advice over the phone as well as let me know when to bring my vehicle in the next day. They did the diagnostic free of charge and found that the transmission leak I had was minor and an easy fix. Jason explained the situation to me and offered professional advice on where to take my vehicle for regular oil changes and other maintenance. I will be returning if I ever need work again, or calling for a referral. Jason has great customer service, is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and goes the extra mile to make customers feel welcome and taken care of. Eagle Transmission is great. I was very nervous after my transmission went out but Jason and his guys were able to get it fixed for much less than what I was expecting and what I was told it would cost elsewhere. My Mazda 3 hasnt had any issues since the fix and the car is running good as new. These are professionals who know what they are doing and will actually take the time to properly diagnose an issue and make sure that it is tested and fixed before getting it back to you. For any major issues in the future I will be taking my cars here.

Had an A0D rebuilt by them 10 years ago for $1500, worked great for 4 years until i sold it.

I took my 2010 accord to the shop where i normally get my oil change done because my car had vibration during acceleration but they’re not able to fixed it and told me to find other repair shop. i brought my car to EAGLE TRANSMISSION & REPAIR and they’re able to fixed it. My engine head gasket apparently failed and the car was dead. I had the car towed to Eagle Transmission, they located a replacement engine, once the engine arrived we were on schedule to have the car back to me in a week. I also had my transmission serviced while they had it. I picked my car up today, it’s running great, the constant updates kept me informed and I could not be happier to be back on the road. Went in with what was diagnosed as a complete drive line replacement, but Jason found the part that actually needed replacement and saved me nearly $1000… incredible!

First off, I cant thank Jason enough for all hes done. I brought in a 2006 Nissan Frontier with transmission issues. I got the transmission replace and the truck is now my daily. I took the truck on a long road trip a few months after the replacement, used the truck to tow a second vehicle back to Texas. I had to drive up and down on steep mountain roads during my trip back, and had no issues with the transmission. This is the only shop I trust with my vehicles. Customer service is excellent. Cant wait to bring my vehicle back for the next service. Thank you Jason and his crew for the amazing work!

I just had my 2008 Toyota Tundra worked on here. Before I took my truck was shifting hard and I couldn’t accelerate past 60 without my RPMs going crazy. It was slipping really bad and not changing gears the way it is supposed to. So I brought it to Jason at this Rowlett location and he very nicely took the time to explain to me what my options were. People always freak out when they hear their transmission is going bad. But Jason kept it simple and walked me through the whole process. In the end they rebuilt my transmission, it took almost 2 weeks for the whole process of first checking the problem to getting it fixed. Now everything is working great! Hopefully I don’t have anymore problems with my transmission. I recommend this place. Thank you

I took my 2016 Explorer to Eagle Transmission in December. They spent a great deal of time diagnosing the problem. It turned out not to be a transmission problem, but they advised me of what I needed to do additionally to have it repaired. They did not charge anything for their work, and kept me informed of what they were doing to find the problem. I would HIGHLY advise anyone needing transmission work to take it to Eagle.

I have taken my car to Eagle Transmission Rowlett for three separate issues over the years, and each time was treated as if I was their only customer. Each time the manager was very pleasant and took the necessary time to explain the mechanical problem with my car in a way that I could understand. During the repairs, I was contacted and provided status updates. On one occasion, when I thought that the issue with my car was related to a previous accident, I was allowed to leave my vehicle on the lot for a few days while I worked out logistics with my insurance...even though their lot is usually full. Their professionalism is reflected in their customer service, but more importantly in the work that they do. Though I have never had any continued issues after the repairs done on my car, Jason always reassured me that if I experienced any problems, to call him right away. Though we never plan for vehicles to fail, I am happy to know that I can take my car to Eagle Transmission and be treated with honesty and respect.

These people are honest and very professional. Haven’t came across this in a long time! Way better than taking your car to the dealership. I took my carto the dealership and they basically turned me away. My spouse called Eagle and they took my car in right away. They couldn’t start work on my car right away because the extended warranty company was giving us the run around for nearly a month. The warranty company kept asking for different paper work, which Eagle provided promptly for us to get car fixed. These people saved me a lot of money during these hard times! My car is running really good! I prayed about it and this place is a God send!!

Dont leave your vehicle here, they have cars broken into regularly according to Manager and they will not take care of any damages and tried to hide the fact it was broken into, not until I went back inside and called the manager out to inspect the damages, then he said oh yea, your truck was broken into and he refused to make it right, told me to file on my insurance. SORRY BUSINESS PRACTICESThey should make it right by paying my damages of $3200.00, not expecting me to file on my insurance, that is why they carry Insurance

My engine and VSC lights came on this morning on my way to work. I pulled into Auto Zone to get a free diagnostic check. The staff person was going to give me the diagnostic tool to do it myself due to COVID. I told him no thanks. I went to Eagle Transmission for the first time. They were very courteous and professional and performed the diagnostic test without issue and gave me recommendations. Though they couldnt get to my car for a week, Shawn recommended I call Jason at Lewis Auto repair. They were able to get to me quickly and were as courteous and professional as Eagle Transmission. It was excellent customer service for Eagle to assist in my needs being met though they werent able to service my vehicle due to being back logged with transmission work. Few businesses care like that anymore.

I had my step-sons truck towed in with a broken drive shaft, and the entire tail piece of the transmission gone. Doug and his crew took great care to repair this. I had a subsequent problem immediately thereafter, and they came to get it, made it right very quickly. No one wants to have these kinds of problems...but they happen. Its great to know there are honest shops that operate for the good of the customer. Ill definitely take all of my transmission needs to these guys in the future! Thank you a ton!

I took my car to another transmission shop, who kept it one week and they were unable to resolve the problem. Doug had me bring my car over and he was able to diagnose and repair it within 2 days. I have 2 sons that BOTH has NISSAN ALTMAS with transmission issues. One son, took it to the NISSAN , got it back within weeks. My other son, took it here, Eagle. And They STILL HAVE HIS CAR. HES BEEN WAITING FOR 3 months . Got it home ONE TIME had it for 1 day and it HAD TO GET TOWED BACK TO EAGLE. AND NOW THEY HAVE A NEW MANAGER THAT STILL HAS NO CLUE ON HOW LONG IT WILL BE. You were the most nice and honest person Ive ever met.I took my car to Mr.Doug(Eagle Transmission) to get fixed my car transmission because other car mechanics told me my car transmission is gone.And they would charge me around $3,000-$5,000 to get it fixed.I took my car to Eagle Transmission and spoke to Mr.Doug and he told me to leave the car there so they can diagnose which was free from them. Do not ever go to any of the eagle transmissions! I paid 3k to have my 2005 jeep wranglers transmission rebuilt. Which is fine because I expected it to be perfect! Theyre scam artist. They are all owned by different people and have no union once so ever. After having it rebuilt still could hear loud gear change, trouble accelerating, and a weird rattle. They swore up and down the jeeps transmission was solid. I didnt go anywhere else, at the time I was 19 and had just spent 3k. For 3k you only get a 20,000 mile warranty or 2 years. Which you reach first. My jeep wasnt my everyday. So I never reached 20k. After two years I finally got a second opinion since my warranty was up, turns out the rattling was from a mobile, backwards piece from my transmission! So all that time, and money, after they swore it was solid, turns out they didnt even build it right, and all of my concerns and questions were ignored. Obviously theyre idiots and I hope they close down.

Im not usually inclined to leave reviews. However, the professionalism and quality of work from this shop is worth noting. Simply put, the cost was very competitive, the service was outstanding and the quality of work was right on. Aaron set up my tow and was with me about the project every step of the way. His communication is exactly what you would expect from a professional. The quality of work is noticeable. I had my front differential gears rebuilt and my jeep drives great. Out of respect for their business Im not going to drop numbers on what I paid, as every automobile and situation is different, but the cost of the repairs was extremely competitive. I had a general automotive issue that was going to take the dealership over a week to get to (had to leave truck with them) and was estimated at $600.00. I went to Eagle Transmission of Rowlett and they fixed the issue while I waited (1 Hour) and got me out of there for around $100.00. I highly recommend their staff and their services. Why would anyone wait for days to get their car even looked at, at the dealership, when it could be a quick fix? Thanks again to your staff!

I took my truck into Rockwall Ford, and was quoted a ridiculous price to repair my transmission. I ended up taking my truck to this shop in Rowlett, and it ended up being an electrical issue and less than $350. I cant thank these guys enough as I dont have a lot of extra money these days!!

My 2013 Mustang started having issues going into gear, and eventually wouldnt drive at all. I had it towed in last week and dealt with the service manager to get it fixed. Been here before and usually good service but went today to get A/C checked. Walked in and stood for about 5 min with no one up front and was about to leave when someone finally came up. Told him needed A/C checked and had tried to charge it but was in the red so left it alone. Manger walks up about that time and gets kinda iffy because I hooked the can up. The other guy asks if they can do the test and manger doenst answer but starts messing with his computer. Guy asks again if they can run the test and still no answer. Then he just walks away. I stood there for another 5 min and left. If you wanna help say yes, if you dont then just say no but walking away from a customer isnt the answer. Wont be going back.

I took my truck in on Wednesday, thinking that my transmission was toast. My gears were slipping into neutral at low speeds, and I was prepared for an expensive repair.
