Brandon went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience at ACE. It all started when I called about a particular fire pit. Not only did he answer all of my questions (and I had a few) but when he didn’t have an answer he was quick about getting back to me right away. He was efficient and had it ready for us when we arrived, and we were able to go home and have it set up right away! The whole process took less than an hour!

Very professional staff. Polite, and inquisitive about your need and any help they can assist a person with. One of the few local hardware stores that still compete with the bigger ones. Some of the prices are higher but I feel thats to be expected when trying to avoid the crowded other 2 chain stores. Also, I received coupons in the mail welcoming me to the neighborhood which was cool, I saved a few bucks there. Good luck ACE. and thanks for your business.

The staff is very friendly and helpful at Ace hardware. You may pay a little for than the big box store but it is well worth the customer service you receive at the store. They have a wide array of merchandise from paint to grills to docks supplies to hardware. Highly recommend!

This place has been here FOREVER. I remember coming here when I was a child. They have everything Ive ever needed when I just need something really quick and dont want to go to a large store like Home Depot.

After see the customer was having problem finding it and the customer had already show a lower price with a ace store that was not a Great Lakes Ace Store. Its a good hardware store but some of the employees really need to learn what social distancing is. When Im keeping my 6 ft distance from everybody, I dont expect an employee to come within 2 inches of me. But some do🤦‍♂️.

I can always get what I need without having to look all over in a huge hardware store. If I cant find what Im looking for, there is always an associate nearby to help. Very friendly service.

Went there for some Chrome spray paint and a heat gun. Pros: the guy on the register was very nice, and helped me find the heating gun. Also, most spray paint brands say metallic, silver, etc... and they never look like the cap or what it says. Oh, and they are usually overpriced. But not only does the Ace brand of Chrome Spray Paint actually looks chrome and reflective, it was only $2.99! I will definitely be using their brand for spray paint from now on. I made something plastic look completely metal! The cons: customer service on the floor was non-existent. You are on your own in this store, and it was only two people ringing at the register (mostly one). When I finally found the Chrome paint, it was only one left, and the cap wasnt the original cap, so it didnt even fit or lock on. Also, had no idea where the heat gun was, and gave up looking. But when at the register, something told me to ask the guy if they even had heat guns, and thats when he walked me over to it. Ace, you need to step it up.

BOTCHED Curbside Pickup. No designated curbside parking spots or order # in the email. Once parked, I called the number in the email and was given a hard time by an unpleasant employee. After being put on hold, she informed me that my order could not be found and the manager was looking for it. Thirty-five minutes after my arrival, he walked out with my items. He did offer an apology, hence the second star in my rating. Could be an isolated incident, but I wont be back to find out.

Walked into the store was clean no sale signs up but got what i wanted a umbrella stand and umbrella. Cashier told me one price and when i got to the counter was another price . When the cashier showed her the price her and her manager would not honor it and walked away . Very disappointed at the service and will never return to this store i will stick to Lowes . Sorry i had to even leave a star .

First time in store and it was very clean and photo worthy organized. I was greeted and offered help by multiple employees, and one woman helped me find what I was looking for. The cashier was extremely friendly, articulate, signed me up for the rewards program and greeted customers coming into the store at the same time. I will definitely be returning to this location!

Needed a key made. The employee took care of it quickly. So quickly my husband forgot she handed him the original key back. Bought candy at the checkout. Pricey compared to the larger chains.

Today 10/12/11/9 I came into this store and asked if I could have some of the paint sticks used for stirring paint. I told the young man in the wizard costume that I was doing a project. He says oh sure those are free, I can give you as many as you want. I proceed to look behind the counter for the sticks and then says he can ask someone to bring some from the paint Dept. He speaks into his ear pcs microphone and was told he coul only give me 4 and will charge me .15 cents for each additional one. Well then thru were never free. I visited another ace and was given 20 sticks for free. And this is how they treat the community by charging .15cents for a stick.Wow.
