I love this store.My only negative about it is the people working in the area where they sell sewing machines. Very rude if you are just looking & asking questions

I recently went into Joanns during their big daffodil sale. I had looked online prior to going in so I knew my must-haves. When I got into the store, I noticed the items I wanted were higher priced. I asked one of the sales rep if they would match and she said no - and I said it shows them available for curbside so it is somewhat of an in store price. She said I could order them for curbside and pick up later. I laughed, called my husband and said I might be longer as I’ll be sitting in my car waiting for someone to shop what I’ve already shopped to save $30. I sat in the aisle, ordered the items I had for curbside and shook my head the entire time. I decided to go up to the counter - I said I just placed a curbside order for these items, how long does an order typically take. She said 4 hours - yikes. I said is there a way to rush it - these are my items. She said next time, if you’re okay with shopping in store, don’t worry about curbside we always match online prices. A little annoyed, I told her what happened, she cancelled my curbside order, called back to let them know if they get the order to not work it, and then matched my items to the penny. She was so nice, said they always match online prices as it saves her staff time from not having to shop for the customer. Curbside is obviously a great option for some but for me - I was there to shop in store. I believe her name was Pink...and my 5 stars are for her. She made my whole day - and saved me a 4 hour wait and her staff was able to help in store customers rather than redo the shopping I had already done

Love buying supples for new projects.

I was buying material to recover a couple chair cushions. The lady who waited on me was so helpful. At yardage being $40 bucks a yard I appreciated the time she took to make sure I bought just the right amount. Sorry I didnt get her name...

What a selection of crafting items Joannes is a fabric store and a craft store. Its too bad it cost more to sew ones own clothes then to buy cheap chinese clothes from Walmart ,although I still prefer homemade or vintage clothing because of the polymers Ive found in the cheap chinese imports.

If you are looking for anything to do to keep you busy as you stay at home,go to Joann Fabrics and Crafts....there is everything you can imagine there.All good quality at reasonable prices. You will enjoy the store and find something you will want to do!!! Have fun!!!

I may be biased because I myself am a fellow crafter, however anytime I leave here I am 1... never empty handed and 2 never dissatisfied. They also have an app that has weekly coupons. Our most recent visit we grabbed loads of fun stuff for the kids for their Easter baskets.

Ive never been here before until now but I love it! Tons of selection for fabrics, arts, and crafts. I bought a six yard teal faux suede leather piece for tabletop gaming and love it. The staff is very patient and seems knowledgeable. I would recommend and come back here again (download the app and check online for discounts as well).

I found just the right material for a blouse! The only thing I can never find are the right buttons!

They did not have what I went in the store to get.The lady from the fabric department was the only person I could find on the floor.Sadly she was unfamiliar with the rest of the store. But she did her best and was friendly and apologetic about not being more knowledgeable.

Had a great time looking at all their beautiful and fun buttons. So many places do not sell buttons anymore or a very limited supply. JoAnns button selection is quite extensive.

Great place always have what Im looking for Im a total crafter and enjoy looking at all the new projects I could possibly start! Cashiers are great and most of the staff is helpful.

They usually have most of what I need for various craft projects. I was somewhat disappointed in their yarn selection, they used to carry more variety. However, I still managed to leave with several skeins of yarn!

Always has what Im looking for, can save a lot with coupons; love I can use more than one coupon per qualifying transaction!

Its a really big store with a great selection.

Didnt find everything I wanted and several empty shelves but i made do. I think they are changing inventory for seasons. Employees had masks, I saw them disinfecting carts but I had taken my own wipes with me just in case. Plastic shields at registers. Very nice cashier.

Usually I have a decent time at this store but not lately. I wanted to ask for a mobile shopping cart for my partner who is disabled but was rudely turned away by an employee who wasn’t willing to stick by and answer my question. I left the store immediately after, no way am I shopping in an environment like that. Also for some reason you can’t leave the store unless you go through checkout (basically you have to buy something if you want to leave) so I had to wait to just even leave the store. Ridiculous..

Usually my experience is really good. Today however I went to ask an employee a question and she told me to give her room, the whole 6 foot distance thing. Yet she then comes around the corner and stops two feet in front of my elderly mom to place material on the shelve. My thought is if your going to tell customers to back up from you then you should be showing the same consideration to a customer when stepping into their space.

Masks are required to enter. There are plexiglass dividers between Staff & customers at check out. Shelves are well stocked and theres great sales going on. I really like having their app, which has a price scanner and coupons. Friendly Staff.

This store is great for art supplies. However the staff is not friendly at all. 😭

JoAnn isnt what it used to be. Maybe its COVID but the selection and prices are way high now.

I love the discounts and coupons here but there was a line of 9 people waiting to checkout and only one cashier which made the wait time super long.

Hi-Fashion in Sacramento has a much larger selection and better prices in fabric. Sewists will appreciate it.

Well they have a lot of variety, I noticed that some of their inventory had sold out and hasnt been replaced. I was referring especially to upholstery fabric.

This is my wifes goto location for fabric. Usually there every few weeks.

The lady there were extraordinary supportive as we had fleece material cut, I was assisting a woman with a disability and the individual cuts made her project doable

The staff at this location are very knowledgeable, but less than friendly. I called the store to check the status on my order since the number had not been updated in three weeks. The sales associate proceeded to yell at me through the phone. When I went to pick up my items, less then half of the items I ordered were in the bag. The refund I was promised has not yet processed. I will now support small businesses in the area, such as Meissner.

Prices are ridiculous. I bought a clock piece for 9 and the same exact thing at Wal-Mart was 7. They have some great things but you can get cheaper some where else. But I wanted to check them out. Now I know!

I want to Thank Joanns Fabric for being open at this trying time.They are keeping all the guidelines, for distancing, using gloves, wipingcounters down, etc. They are so kind and helpful. With this extratime it is nice to have some projects to do.

Needed a few last minute Christmas items. I was able to find everything I needed (as well as a few extra things) in record time. The employees were more than willing to stop what they were doing to show me where a particularly hard-to-find item was, and they were having an AMAZING sale!

They were out of three of the things that I went in for, and they looked like the stock was down on many more things. Not there fault because of Covid-19. But because I had waited for so long to be able to come in I was disappointed.

This was the first time that me and my family went to this JOANNs. The store was laid out perfectly. It was easy to find what we were looking for. The staff was extra friendly. They were well stocked and had great sales going on. The lady that checked us out made sure that we had our coupons on the app. We will definitely go back there again.

I love this place probably too much. There are always great coupons and discounts. Awesome selection of fabric and craft items. It is always a go to for any hobby project. The staff is always really helpful.

Very knowledgeable staff. Associate was able to answer very specific questions in detail regarding different sewing machines. She wasnt pushy and even recommended waiting for sales on several machines.

I love this Joann Fabrics location. They have a lot more products I like compared to the Yuba City store. I like their selection of Tim Holtz & ranger products. I wish they had more but what they have is more than anyone else.

Havent been in a Joanns in a long while but the rebirth of the crafter in me was awoken, my muse is back! They have everything! A pluthera of supplies beyond a crafters dream. And candy too!! Lots of GOOD candy! So its a candy/crafty shop!

Not liking the new sale for all the Holiday stuff. They used to have it a straight forward everything 40% off, now..... some of it is 40% off and most of it is buy 2 get 2 free. So you really have to plan out what you are buying and making sure you have enough equal priced items for the BOGO so you are not paying full price for 2 expensive items and then getting 2 cheap items for free....vs just throwing whatever you like in the cart knowing its all 40% off 🤣

All of the staff at this store is extremely helpful and kind. They care about their customers and their place of business. Had no difficulties finding what I needed. Thank you for an excellent experience!

Always a great place to see new things! Cut counter lines are way too long but otherwise than that, awesome! Classes are the best and instructor Roopa is amazing. Love, love, love her classes. Take one and you are hooked for life. Or, until she retires, whichever comes first.

I love the staff here they are very friendly, from the store floor to the cashiers. Great selection of fabric.Only downside is that they are lacking in store available lace for clothing.

The sale was Friday-Sunday. A lot of different great decors/designs that you can choose from. God bless!

Joanns is always my go to for crafts and hobbie supplies. Although you have to look for assistance when shopping, the assistance is wonderful and complete when you find someone. Using coupons is a must, and most of the cashiers are helpful in scanning the best combination. Lots of choices!

It’s a shame that most of the people that were working when we came in weren’t very friendly. One woman cutting fabric for us even completely ignored my 6yo daughter when she was joyfully explaining what she was going to do with the fabric. Also the prices are too expensive for the quality of fabrics.

Excellent variety of all kinds of crafts and materials. They also carry high-end sewing machines, whos staff are extremely knowledgeable. So nice to see one young lady working there who was wearing really beautiful clothes she designed and made using the Husqvarna sewing machines!

Great place. Hard to tell what the actual price of items are. If youre willing to work at it you can find some bargains. Beware of deceptive labels though. Make sure you get the discount you are expecting

I am a long-time customer of Joann and was so happy to learn that theyre on the west coast also, as Im a transplant from Georgia. All the Joann stores I shopped back east were usually tucked into the corner of a strip mall, barely hanging on. Not this store! I walked in and my jaw dropped!! It is the size of a grocery store full of awesomeness!! The staff was nice and helpful, despite all the holiday shopping. Ill definitely return.

My wife goes to knitting classes here. Donna is the teacher and does a fabulous job!!! The other people who work here are nice and most are very well informed to be able to assist you.

I can always find what I want and nearly always fall in love with something I dont need. They have all the little things... like the right hooks for the drapes I had made years ago.. Somehow the mystery scoundrels snatched hooks over the years. Now my drapes are good as new! For home decor, sewing hobbies and gifts my very favorite place. Only negative, itsnot in Auburn.

Honestly i am not sure how places like Michaels and Hobby Lobby are in business when Joann is around. Joann consistently has the products i am looking for and the others do not. The also allow coupon stacking and their staff is constantly pushing you to save money by using the coupons. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. I cant say enough about this Joann.

Not Joanns as much but the sewing area rug very rude people in that area. Went to Meissner and bought a more expensive sewing machine but with better people helping out. Happy wife happy life.

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They are very good about moving staff around to the registers or the cut counter when it gets busy. Lots of good sales and coupons all the time.

Pretty good location, store was clean and organized. Only problem I had was that I couldnt find anyone to help me, but like always, all the employees were working the super crowded fabric cutting table. Not their fault.
