Bought a Smith & Wesson 9mm gun that was defective. This store told me the gun was practically brand new. I called and told them about it and I was told to bring it in and that I could get half of my money back if I sold it to them. When I tried to they told me they didnt return guns. This place is ran by unorganized people. I paid $480 for a defective gun that I cant even use!

I have gone to CAP for a while now and im always pleased when I leave. I’ve tried my best to keep a good return rate so in turn, if I need to pawn something im good to go. Good staff; not much wait time and nice items to choose from.

Be smart and take your business to a locally owned establishment. Ive spent thousands of dollars from Rome to Actworth and Roswell Cash America stores over the past four years. The Rome store has been terrible for the past four years. I purchased an item that was missing the power cord and after testing it at home decided to return it because it didnt work. I was told that I couldnt return it because I didnt purchase the (piece of mind) warranty. I was never offered this. I was them told that it was on my receipt. So after you pay for it then you find out. Im glad they only got me for $70. I understand they have to have policys so they dont get scammed but when customers that have a history spending money at their store, they should take care of us. I will never do business with this company again.

Don’t work on prices with you. They offer to buy things and sell them for double. Worker had a real nasty attitude also cause they’re test tv power button was broken.

This pawn shop is the worst that I have ever dealt with!!!! I had a diamond ring that was an heirloom that was worth around ten thousand dollars and it was due on a Sunday so I called and the Lady said it could be paid on Monday but when I got there Monday to pay on it they had taken it! I also have a deer rifle pawned there that was my Sons that passed away in 2002!! When I went to get it out they said something showed up on my background check from 20 yrs. ago and I couldnt get it out! So my wife called to see if she could get it out they told her No and Nobody that knows us could either! So now I cant get my Sons deer rifle out! Never mind the money, it was very sentimental to us! The pawn shops in Calhoun let my wife get all my guns and jewelry out! So now Im gonna have to get the Police involved to try to get my Sons gun out! I advise anyone to NEVER use this pawn shop! I dont think they even still have the gun! They wont show it to me! Please be aware! I wouldnt even give it one Star rating! Its a terrible place to do business!!!!!

Terrible place. The prices are high. The store is dirty and it always stinks when I go there. They give you little cash for your pawns and sells. The manager and workers are extremely rude and always have an attitude.

Place is ran very unprofessionally. Manager smells like she never showers. I saw the workers on their phones, inappropriate behavior. Constantly rude. Manager was gossiping about other people. Highly unprofessional. Prices are high for junk. It’s dirty. Worst cash America I’ve ever been to. Manager was seen yelling at employees.

Finally seems like they know what they are doing. Giving good prices on my stuff now and not over pricing stuff for sale. I left because of the ridiculous prices and the attitudes on that store. Went in this week out of desperation and was surprised. New manager there got me what I needed and explained things to me. Talked to me like a person and made me feel like she did care. Much different than past experience. Will keep going back.

New management is terrible. No longer accepting the same items Ive been pawning there and paying out for years. Rude customer service. Very unhappy and will no longer be going to the shorter ave store😢will miss the old staff not the new

Overwhelmed at their lack of empathy for a disabled person whom they made my husband bring me in saying we couldve been divorced and he stole the items from me. He bought the items! LMAO i felt like i was going to pass out and told them and they wouldnt help me at all. I guess its a liability to have kindness lol. Go to Easy Money. Much friendlier! Much faster! Much more money! I was so sick and upset i called them back and thanked them!

I love you and this into this store everyones always friendly to me sometimes you have to wait but thats what you should have to do because they take their time and then make sure everythings right awesome place to go only place in Rome you should go

They have improved alot since a year ago...only a couple of workers are rude but the vast majority is very nice an my husband loves it there to shop an borrow money!!!

I went to buy a laptop, the first one had hard drive issue, the other one on the shelf looked a little beat up, so the young lady went to the back and brought a couple out, I was fixing to buy one but was told that I had to buy the one on the shelf! They would rather lose a sale. Unbelievable! I would give this place a negative 10.

Terrible experience. The manager was an absolute jerk. He refused to even look at what I had to sell. One of the employees convinced me to stay until the other manager showed up. He was just as rude as the other guy - they both seemed to be in a rush to do anything else other than catering to their customers. Aimee was nice while I was waiting on the other manager, but as soon as he comes in she starts trying to argue with me and contradicts everything she had told me just 10 minutes earlier. This was the most disrespect Ive been shown from any place in Rome.

But for a MONITOR worth over $100 they wanted to give me $10. But they paid more for a damn Element brand TV thats smaller than my monitor (which was a good name brand). F*** yall. This store has some of the rudest employees. Every time I go in this store I am told No! I take in a couple Awesome drum pieces needing to Pawn to get something for my child just until next week a 18 Zildjian China, a double base drum petal, and a ROC and Soc Throne and the black lady ALWAYS rolls her eyes and walks up to our rep and says we cant take that EVERY time!! No matter what we bring. I have been a customer for years and she is absolutely Rude! And the guy Ricky just stands there looking at us like he doesnt know what hes doing. Its upsetting a long time customer cant get help for whatever reason. Thank you for your time and something should be done or said about her rudeness and why I am told No on good quality items!!

Stood in line for 45 minutes to find out that its too late to trade in a gun no one told me in the gun was in my hand the whole 45 minutes I was in line Badd service would not recommend with other pawn shops in Rome to compare too

Going back today because I bought a laptop from here and found out that it is reported stolen when I called the manufacturer for a reset disk so I will not be going back after I return this . Horrible place to be will be speaking with someone about this place to make sure all items here are not stolen if so this store will be closed down and charged
