I received a handful of GameStop gift cards from friends a few years ago. They totaled $70. Looking at the fine prints, the gift cards do not expire. When I went to the store to use them, they told them the cards have been used which is impossible since the pin numbers have not been scratched yet. They told me to call their 1-800 number. I called and waited 20 minutes to speak to Customer Service who confirmed the cards have not been used; they were de-activated. They promised to issue me virtual credits. They took down my information and my email. They said the credit will take a week to issue. I dont know why since thats a long time for me to wait and use money that belongs to me. I asked for a confirmation number. They insisted a confirmation number is not necessary. If this review helped you in anyway please like?

I looked literally everywhere to buy My Son a Xbox One, From Utica to Rome, This was the only place that had one. This Pandemic is Proving to be more taxing than anything before.

Went and hit up a funko pop clearance sale got 8 new ones. My boyfriend and son got a couple new games. The clerk was super nice and help us set up a new rewards account. They had very small bags you could buy in the store for your purchases, I recommend taking a bag with you if you plan on buying anything larger than a game, or more than one thing.

The staff if very nice and helpful, they always help me get the best deals.

More of a collectibles store now than a game destination. Lots of different collectibles and action figures and Funko Pops on hand. Still has games as well but just not as many as years gone by

I purchased a PS4 for my son last year Dec. 2018. His system started overhearing. I always enjoy a visit to GameStop. The store can sometimes get busy but the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have not only purchased new and used items, but I have also traded old hardware and games too and every time it is a pleasure. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Gamestop as I have been to many of their stores and the work ethic is always the same. Good job GameStop, keep it upShop GameStop quite often for gifts. I shop different locations across the country. The employees know the products and have always been extremely helpful in helping me make good choices. They have great selections and make it easy to have gifts picked up at other locations. The back up their products & are really helpful in an emergency, a kid on a 900 mile road trip without a game charger constitutes an emergency. Great selection on used games & related game merchandise. Worth checking them out.

Amazing place blows my mind how nice they are in this store very helpful saw them recognize this big ginger kid by name and they give honest opinions on upcoming releases and the big ginger kid think his name was Jerry he should work there he helped me find a game for my son who is 7 with autism first thing I noticed was a squirtle tattoo on his hand he was very kind im guessing he is a regular. Honest review take it or leave it I call it as i see it.

The Playstation 5 system its about around $499.99 dollars. I wish I hope they can get a lower price on it. The Gamestop is the best forever. Walmart Electronics they dont know about the games so why they hold games their the first place!

Went to buy a pre-owned xbox one controller, when said controller was taken out of the box it was coated in tar and food scum like it was never cleaned, 0/10 absolutely disgusting will not shop here again.

This GameStop is always top notch. The staff are friendly, there is so much gaming merchandise available here and the selection is beyond impressive. Always look forward to stopping by and being heartily greeted by the employees. I love being part of the local gaming community!

Prices can be a bit high compared to other places, but there is a variety of gamer gear that is worth looking at. The store is always clean and orderly. Higher up staff or staff members that have been there for some time are the best. The younger staff members never want to help you and go out of their way to either try to look busy or out right ignore you giving you the simplest answer they can to get you away from them.

Not very attentive to their potential customers what so ever. Stood there waiting for someone to finally come over and help me (which I already knew what I wanted to buy so it would have been a 5 minute visit ) after 25-30 minutes they asked can I help you with something. Purchased an Amazon Fire stick for $33 with regular membership card, which I think is a more than a reasonable price. I honestly just think the staff they have should be more aware and attentive to their potential buyers or they may lose out on sales from a salesman point of view after all they almost lost mine .

Great place to find Games, Collectables and T-Shirts. I bought a Playstation Classic and with Trade-Credit, It was only a few bucks! The Manager is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Always nice, polite, extremely helpful when i go there. Especially when i need new used equipment for my 2 toddlers to be able to enjoy playing with.

The staff here has historically been very good--which has been the saving grace for this store for years because it made the premise of selling your games back at horribly depreciated value somewhat tolerable. Over time it seems the staff has been squeezed, bled or pummled into lifeless and overworked subservience. Dont misunderstand: service is still great but it seems to be depleting the very last of the reserves of each of the workers to do so. If I have any idea about how this corporate retail thing goes: they seem underpaid and overworked with too much oversight and not enough leverage to do their jobs in a way that would truly make customers happy. So, in effect you get a store with (usually just one fairly frantically working) an employee who seems like theyre making the best of a bad situation--almost the way you would expect someone to act if they were being held at gunpoint while doing a job they thought theyd like more.

Very friendly helpers, clean and neat. Only down fall are the prices, getting sales is a must here so u dont over pay. Most used stuff here is close to same as new at walmart

We were searching for a particular Xbox game and we couldn’t find it anywhere. We went in GameStop for a quick check and although we couldn’t find it the customer service was great as they found it and grabbed it for us. Truly helpful staff!

Nice selection of games for the Nintendo DS when my son and I went. Staff was friendly and not overbearing. Ended up buying a couple of PS2 games for a decent price.

Horrible place, the sales representative stated he had a game console and when I came he was all out. They should close the doors, a game store without consoles.

Have never had a bad experience in this store with a variety of different problems over the years they have always come through to fix and address any problems and questions I or friends and family have, they always have a clean store and friendly staff that is willing to go above and beyond for theyre customers

Ive been shopping at this store for years and my experience has always been pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will say, though, that when Ive been in line and hear a customer that makes demands against store policy it irritates me. They are probably the ones that do drive-by bad reviews. Ignore them.

Staff doesnt seem knowledgeable on games or systems.....I tend to always have to correct or inform them after I ask a question

Great place to shop for video games and video game consoles staff knows what theyre doing their very knowledgeable the prices on other new games and consoles are the same as everywhere else however they do offer Rewards that other big box Chains Dont Do plus they have a great selection of used game starting out at 4 for $20 for certain select games My overall experience was very good Im very happy with it and Im sure you will be too

The manager of this Gamestop is awesome and very helpful. Most of the staff actually seem to care about gaming and getting you the right product (not just selling you more stuff). A much more friendly atmosphere than the other Gamestops in the area Ive been too.

They help you if you have questions bout video games they take the time with you if they dont have what you want they get it for you or find a place that has it

Nice people but be careful with the prices because Walmart has some stuff cheaper and then other stuff is cheaper than Walmart so I would recommend going to both stores and checking prices, for example I bought a PS4 paddle at Walmart because it was 44.95 and game stop was 62.00 and game stop has weird deals like there new games are cheaper than the used ones sometimes not sure y but they do that there

They had Battletoads, I’ve been looking for that game for YEARS!!! Unfortunately, when I went in the store to pick it up, an angry short man named Dylan Miranda ran up to me and shot me in the D|CK with his paintball gun. It hurt so bad... luckily I got to play battletoads afterwards so that was fun. That Dylan kid was promptly kicked out of the store by the employees. My FAVORITE Gamestop!
