I don’t normally do reviews however, after ordering takeout from here I have to. I have lived all over and being that I love Mexican cuisine I have sought out the best Mexican restaurants wherever I go. I have no idea how many I have ate at but I tell you this was the ABSOLUTE BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten. I got the Mexican Fajitas mixed with chicken and steak. Oh my gosh it was soooooo good. The steak was tender and the chicken cooked perfectly. I also got the fresh guacamole and fresh Pico which was also wonderful. The portions were plentiful which was a nice surprise. I haven’t lived here long so I am just learning of this establishment but now that I have I will be referring everyone I know to go here and I will be ordering often!!

Four years coming to Rome GA to work in a student program at Berry College. I have brought my students o the La Mexicana Supermarket and Restaurant, for a creative activity and a nice authentic meal from Mexico or Central America. Every time, the people working there have been jus F A N T A S T I C, resourceful, reliable, helpful, kind and respectful with my students. I cannot thank them enough and I hope to be back next summer for another great teaching moment at this exceptional restaurant and supermarket. The waitresses at the restaurant go the extra mile to make sure every customer leaves happy and with a happy tummy.

Best authentic Mexican cuisine in NW Georgia!!Food was delicious and well plated.Restaurant and grocery store have separate exterior entrances but also an interior connection.After a wonderful meal spent some time in this well stocked grocery store.

Honestly the best mexican food restaurant Ive been to in rome.I got one wrong item from my order but wasnt even upset about it because it was delicious. Definitely my favorite Mexican food place.

Excellent flavor! I ordered avocado tacos and they were delicious! Their sauce on the side had just the right amount of heat and great flavor. Also loved the tamarind fountain beverage!

Love to stop in for carnitas on the weekend. The butcher and bakery items are fabulous!

You can get a lot of stuff here, from seasoning, fresh fruits, they also have a bakery inside the store.

So its Christmas day and a bunch of nurses are hungry working in the ICU. Not many options to order from but La Mexicana was one of them. We ordered over 100 of food close to closing time for them and it was without a doubt the best Mexican food Ive had since Ive been in Georgia. I personally had a chicken torta and two steak tacos. Outstanding!! Also ordered roasted jalapenos and pico. Everything was was way better than what we were expecting. Im going to have to check out the restaurant inn person.Edit: we are here in person. The place is even better in house. Hands down best food in Rome, GA

La Mexicana has great food. I recommend the parrillada especialidad, it’S amazing! Everything I’ve had here is delicious. Portions are very generous for the prices charged.I’m always impressed here.

The item that I purchased was rotten. The staff is friendly. The store is cleaner that other Mexican store in the area.

4 dinners, they prepared chicken fajitas with rice, beans and salad. I gave the the number of people for each dinner...there was so much good food! We were able to pile the plates high! It was so good!

Amazing display of fresh meats in an old fashioned butcher shop. Although the clientele is largely Latino, there are wonderful fresh meats for all southern and gourmet cooks. There are fresh veggies, and center isle things like coffee and other treats, of course catering to Hispanic tastes. But again, if you appreciate great fresh food at great prices, this place is for you. Generous discounts for military, law enforcement and first responders, and veterans.

Always a good store to visit the employees are very helpful and they always have English and Spanish speaking employees so theres no problem with translation they have very good quality vegetables and their meat variety that they sell is excellent

Fantastic food. I had a beef tongue torta. It was probably the best need tongue in Rome. The store/bakery is amazing. Would highly recommend.

They have a restaurant in side and the food is authentic and very good. The service is also very good. The ladies working there are super nice and treat you very well. The food is always good and fresh. They have $1 tacos on tue and thur which are delicious. The have some great al pastor tacos. The sauce choices are good and range from very mild to very hot.

The restaurant is so new it doesnt have a website but their tacos are to literally kill for. I was in aww as the light but flavorful tacos with a hint of lime threw my taste buds into a screaming fit for more.So delicious and delicious I literally sat unable to speak. The chicken and steak were wonderfully cooked and the abundance of hot sauces was excellent.Everything is great and looking forward to more meals at this wonderful restaurant. Staff is friendly and great!

Restraunt side food is amazing...but even BETTER that you can walk to meat counter in grocery store side ..tell them what you want and they will TELL you how to cook it at home!!! For CHEAP!!

They have a restaurant that has amazing food and a supermarket that has a vast selection of high quality latino foods that is noticeable as soon as you walk in. This was my first visit today and they will continue to get all business from today on forever.

Best authentic Mexican food around, the prices are great, great service friendly staff though there is a slight language barrier. The tacos al pastor are amazing as well as the chicken tacos! I never feel like Ive been pumped full of salt after eating as I do at so many restaurants.

If you want amazing, authentic mexican food, try their restaurant. Very good food at a very reasonable price. They dont speak English well, but are very friendly. I felt like I was in Mexico.

This establishment has the BEST authentic mexican dishes ive ever had and ive been to many in Georgia i Highly recommend trying it for yourself. The bathrooms are always clean and organized and so is the overall eating area, they also have a nice store right next to it so you can bye all kinds of mexican herbs or foods and also baked breads. I highly recommend getting the Carnitas tacos or tacos de carne asada. Come and try some real mexican food and The service is always professional and quick.
