I met the owner at the Flea market a few days before and he asked me to rate. Well... That might have been a bad idea. Great selection if you want a bunch of rare stuff, but no deals to be found. All items are at trending value. While the owner is 100% knowledgeable of his stuff I couldnt tell if his employee was... the guy was on a personal phone call the entire 20 minutes I was in there. For the die hard collector looking for the rare item at collector prices, this would be the place to go.

I brought in my PS4 for a detail clean because it sounded like a jet engine when it would load games. I have had the system for 6 years and never cleaned it besides using duster, now it runs whisper quite. It was all done same day.Great Service!!! A+

Took my sons switch to get it looked at. I was greeted by Alex who was very knowledgeable and professional. Was able to trouble shoot the issue, gave me a time line to have it repaired and exceeded to fix it. I was never left in limbo but was well informed of the process. Nice little hole in the wall game shop, we always find something interesting in here when we stop by. The owners/employees are nice and knowledgeable, and the selection is top tier, going back to genesis and earlier as well as modern systems. I even found Death Stranding for a discount shortly after release!

This is an excellent spot to get retro games as well as modern ones. My son needed a replacement disc for his horribly scratched copy of Super Smash Bros Brawl. It was cheaper here than on Amazon.This is not a luxurious store, but its a fun one. Personally, I enjoy being in a space that is full of games and old consoles. Its like stumbling into a shed in a dream where you can play whatever you want - Dreamcast, PS1, Wii, etc.

My son bought a ps4 controller and they claimed it was an official sony Ps4 controller. We we went home it was an off brand. The controller doesnt even connect to the playstation. My son tried to exchange the controller but they said we cant do anything about it. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. WE WILL TAKE OUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The gentleman in the store was more than helpful with pricing and trying to help me locate the game I was looking for, as well as explaining the recent price hike in most at home electronics. Got me everything I needed, and even called their sister store on Williamson to try and get me the exact game I was looking for. How you can get old games for a cheap price

A little shop on the side of the road, dont blink or youll miss it. Street advertising could be better, but its pretty small. They had a decent selection for games including switch games. Looks like the carried some new games, but mostly used older games. They had some cool titles. The employee was pretty knowledgeable in the games they had.

The store is a neat little building that is filled with a gamer’s dream come true. The trade-in options are usually great because for example I went to tech exchange to trade in some head-phones and they offered me 50 cents for each, then I went to game junkies and they offered me $5 for each! The workers are friendly and help out whenever, so yes I definitely recommend!

I love game junkies, I go through them when ever I need games or electronics because of their point system and their friendly, nice, and respectfull. Its more convenient rather than walking or driving farther away to other gaming stores because its local and better... Their amazing...😄 And most of the time their even cheaper than some gaming stores and they got good discounts too

Shops are relatively small and are in need of more curb appeal. The staff can be a little lack luster but they know their stuff and beat 80% of big game store policy and prices games and trade ins are usually better here too. Ive come to in the past trusting them over The Tech Exchange and Game stop locally anyways.

This store is spacious, inexpensive,and the customer service is amazing. I went into the store, and the employee there was nice to me and my wife. The employee got out of his chair to address me, and stayed out of his seat to check the games I was trying to sell. He checked everything I had and offered me $5000 for 70 + games. 1 game they were only selling for $2 on their shelf right behind me... If you’re looking for a respectable game store in the Roanoke area GO HERE, their games are extremely fairly priced. They make sure to beat everyones prices and work with you and answer all questions you may have about games or game systems. Have the best selection in the city as well. Good service from employees. They seem very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a lot of games and consoles to choose from. What I do not like is their warranty on controllers for PS3. The one store is quite small but friendly and helpful environment. Will go back when needed.

The staff I have interacted with in the few months I was a customer were great, and the selection of games and their prices are excellent, but the ownership is very rude. Today he felt it necessary to notify me and my friend via the employees speakerphone in a long, uncomfortable manner that that the store is monitored by cameras, inside and out, with the strong implication that we might be thinking about stealing something because [he] knows theres a lot of that going on today. We paid for our game, left, and will not be returning.

Great, local game shop. Dont hesitate to visit. I have visited all three locations now and Im glad I did. Nice locations, staff, and stock. I had a good time chatting with the employees and found them to be knowledgeable and professional. One of the big reasons for my visit to the Roanoke location (the main one) was to get a disc resurfaced. Best 2$ I have spent in a while. My OG Xbox game looks perfect and plays again! It was not working before I had it resurfaced. I found some good deals on games. I think some of the prices were above ebay but not all and thats just my opinion. Prices change so fast on ebay its probably not fare to compare to a brick and mortar store. If I lived in Roanoke I would visit all the time but since Im far away it motivates me to visit a great place like Roanoke.

Store sold my buddy a used guitar hero guitar for 35 dollars. The game new was 50 . And they said they didnt even have time to check and see if it worked. Pretty lame service and the odor of the place is Reminiscent of a ball sack. So if you have tons of money to blow on over priced junk and love the smell of balls this place is for you. Edited and gave 2 stars. But your reply is still riddled with lies and misinformation. But you claim you will fix the odor so Ill give one more star.

Old School Gaming stores , you dont find alot of them. Good Inventory , great prices. Havent gotten a chance to use their Trade in Service yet but im going to try that next , Staff is friendly and have never had an issue with the multiple times ive chatted in and visited. Awesome place to shop, had some old ps4 controllers that had bumper issues and they bought them off to fix them of me which gave me store credit...wasnt expecting anything for them..they also bought some empty switch game cases that i had left from when my dog chewed up a few of my game cartidges. I always check their store for my gaming needs before going elsewhere and 9 times out of 10, they have what im after.
