Found the beauty supplies I needed. I try to avoid ordering on line because I prefer to see the products in person to make sure I am getting the correct item. I dont have time to go to and stand on long lines at USPS, Fed Ex, UPS and etc. to return products. The prices are ok.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I went into the beauty supply since there qere no professional is professional beauty supplies in the area for licensed cosmetologists. The staff is appalling! Not only do they follow you around you around, thet know nothing of the products is the products. I happened to get a dizzy spell while l eas there, and some girl told me to go be dizzy outside. Thats disgusting as a human being. You should check on the well being of others if you see something is wrong!

Great products to pick up for and skin not that expensive

Have been going here for a number of years and the atmosphere is usually mild with low lights. Its always clean with evenly rows of products on shelves among other items on display. The staff are kind and considerate ready to help customers in need. Ive never had a problem browsing their shelves or interacting with staff. Thank you

Its a great beauty supply store with great quality wigs. The service is great and I have only had great experiences with the store. Only issue is they never have t pins for the wigs.

I genuinely appreciate how attentive and patient the staff was with me in regards to making a final purchase decision. Me and my friend were followed and asked to point where we had left the things that we had picked up along the way because they thought we were stealing...this was one of my bad experiences out of the many. Another time i went and as i waas purchasing two pallets they cashier and an employee proceeded to gossip in front of my face because they didnt think i spoke Spanish

This place is always my go to beauty supply! It’s the biggest one we have here in Ridgewood! They always have everything I need and the staff is super helpful. If they don’t have it they will find other ways to help you out, which I do appreciate. I am a professional and run to this shop every so often to pick up some basic items on a regular basis. Just bought a bunch of hair products from them yesterday, the cashier girl was really helpful with me finding them. They had all the things i needed.....toner, developer, etc. The cashier girl even wrapped my glass bottle protein treatment =)-Its a great store in my neighborhood!!

The guy that’s always in the front follows me I believe he is the owner. He kept looking at my friend group probably thought we were going to steel. I will never go there again I don’t recommend either.

I dont go here anymore, the customer service is horrible. I think that if you are spending your money, you deserve quality service. You speak to the cashier and she acts like if you are bothering her, very unprofessional. These stores are a dime a dozen, they need to get it together!

HORRIBLE customer service from the MANAGER . I was buying things in there and the manager told the worker to stop helping me and go help others. They gave me attitude and ignore and walk away. Unprofessional people in there!

Terrible service. When trying to buy products the staff just ignores you. Tried to get staffs attention several times. They acknowledge you but never help you. Has never been so difficult to spend hundreds of dollars. They are generally really rude and unwelcoming and treat you like you should be lucky to be in their store let alone have someone speak to you. Horrible. Only upside is convenience to the neighborhood.Theres another one on Knickerbocker by Stanhope that has a way nicer staff and comparable selection. So I wont be wasting my time here again and neither should you.

Just finished shopping at this store. I made it clear to the manager that I will not return back to this establishment.I have a huge issue with being followed around in a store simply because I opened hair products to smell it. Now surely I can understand how it would be an issue to open and “try” products. This was not the case. I was twice told not to open the products and when I asked to speak to a manager regarding the issue, she stated when products are opened, air gets in and leads to fungus. I’ve been buying hair products for nearly two decades and have never heard such bs. Thoroughly disgusted that as a customer, I can’t peacefullt which hair products best serve my family and I.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a local beauty supply with a good selection so stopped in to see what they had. As I walked through the aisles looking for different lines/brands I realized I was being followed. Being profiled and treated like a criminal is not an unusual experience for black women in America, so I suppose I should be used to it. Im sorry to say I did spend money there that day because I didnt have time to find someplace else and couldnt be sure other places would be open on a holiday weekend. But I fumed all the way home and had to call to at least lodge a complaint though I didnt expect anything to be done about it. The conversation was even worse than I expected with whoever picked up making it very clear that mistreatment of customers was not of particular concern for this company. Ill shave my head before I spend another dime in that store.

Ive lived near this store my whole life and have come to this beauty supply store occassionally for cheap lipsticks and small acrylic jars. Today, I went in searching for a specific item: Eco gel. I was looking around quickly til I found the gel aisles and I noticed their security dude or whatever he is was following and watching me. I didnt find the gel and at that point felt too uncomfortable to ask so I went to the hair tie section to look for scünci hair ties. I didnt see them because I was looking in a rush, so I left and the dude grabs my arm and wants to search my bag. I KNOW I did nothing wrong so I hand him my bag and let him search. He keeps searching and taking everything out and hes telling the cashier he doesnt find anything and shes giving him a signal as if to keep searching. That is beyond embarassing and ridiculous to make someone look like a thief and feel like a criminal when they did nothing wrong except consider shopping in your store. NEVER shopping here again and telling everyone I know not to either. I was a cashier twice growing up. I know good and well that people steal, but I would never accuse someone of stealing without any reason. Get some damn cameras if you are so worried about people stealing your corny products.

They Always Have What I Need!

First I walked in the girls dont even greet you or say anything at all. When I needed some help, I asked one of the girls excuse me and she cut me off mid sentence and rudely and snobby way told me to ask someone else up front. The girls here are all super unprofessional and have no sense of customer service.

Helpful? You must be an employee cause they are not helpful at all. They dont have good customer service at all. You ask them a question and they act like they dont hear you. They dont have good variety when it comes to pony tails. Good variety in other items though.
