One of the best grocery stores that I enjoy shopping for my groceries at they always have everything I need and they are always very helpful and kind with amazing customer service I always have a positive experience shopping at Publix

Their wings are VERY delicious and a good price! If getting more than 10, you may want to call and order the wings. Calling gets you wings that are hot and fresh. The website will take your order but itll be cold wings. Didnt know until I called them.

I recently moved into the area and this Publix is great. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and I love their deli section as well as the soup and salad bar. I highly recommend their chili.

Went to a meeting at the YMCA above store. Enjoyed shopping at public afterwards for specials they had. They make a good key line cheesecake which was on sale for $6.99 th ere abouts I think. Sometimes I have gotten sliced of cake for a diff err ent cake. Usually a fan of chocolate bur I l Ill keep their cream cheese iced strawberry cake. Prices often too high for me so I just get specials. I do like their brand of butter though.

Good food, great burger. Sometimes a bit pricy but good. Has a good variety of ice cream for pets near the ice bags. My dogs particuarly enjoy the bacon and cheese flavour.

Lots of fresh organic produce and some Ukrops items. Typically has what I need when I have to run over for a quick item.

We have ordered subs several times. Sometimes online and it’s never right! I put instructions about what to add and the kind of bread. It is NEVER right. I’m not sure how it can be wrong when the instructions are written. If we order at the counter it also takes forever!

For every long distance run, my dad prepares by eating half a bag of Microwaveable Publix White Rice at 3:30am. On the eve of his second marathon, he had gone to two different Publix’s to find that neither had the rice in stock. On a Hail Mary attempt, I decided to go to this Publix and was helped by a wonderful gentlemen that managed to find some packets of rice in the back storage area. It may seem small, but it was a HUGE deal as my dad prepares to run 26.2 miles tomorrow. I wish I had gotten his name, but just want to say thank you again for going the extra mile!

Good Publix location to shop if you want to avoid crowds. Store is always well stocked. I especially like the salad bar and wings bar. Customers can now serve themselves.

Always out of stock on items (so have to go to another store to find what you need) and they have a lot of registers but only one maybe two open. Seems like they forcing people to use self serve check out!

Publix at John Rolfe Pkwy does an excellent job of making feel secure during this pandemic. All the staff wears masks and they sanitize the carts as you come in the store. The store is very clean and organized. I have not shipped anywhere else since March because I feel safe shopping here. Thank you Publix!

Ive been very impressed with Publix! The staff is super friendly and very helpful whenever I need their help. Its a rare experience these days when someone freely offers to help you, but its a customer service thing that I personally really like. Its also possible to find some really good deals at Publix every now and then with their buy-one-get-one free deals. You dont actually have to buy two to get the deal, either! The selection is good, the meat and produce is of really quality, and the shopping experience is enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Went to deli/ sandwich dept. My wife and I went in for a quick lunch and there was no line the counter was clean and prep area was immaculate. Clerks were happy to greet. Smiles and cheerful. Fast and efficient. Pulbix always delivers.

Chili soup was looking good so I bought small cap. It was big enough. But it had no taste. So I choose to add soy sauce and hot sauce, one pack of each like on the picture. And it was exactly taste of chili soup!!

Ive never met a more polite staff of employees at any grocery in my 34 years of living from Chesterfield to Wyndham.

I absolutely love Publix and was really excited when Publix entered Richmond market last year. They have a great bakery and a really good selection of groceries for vegetarians and vegans. I can always go there and find a new product to try. Publix also runs really good deals and I use their digital coupons. This location has a Starbucks which is never crowded.

Very clean supermarket with excellent customer service. Staff is very attentive. They have a meeting room that is available for small events which is a very nice feature, but no outside food or beverages. In general prices are a little higher than other grocery stores. I guess you pay for the service and having your groceries taken to your car. Four stars only because of pricing. Prepared foods are okay, some are to my liking some are not. I love the Cuban bread. They also have a good selection of Caribbean foods and produce.

Jo and Michael in the catering and event department are awesome!! I needed a last minute special sheet cake for a funeral of a loved one. All the others stores turned me away saying they were booked. They told me they were busy, also being the last minute. But they came through and made it happen for me. They made the ordering process easy and smooth from when I placed the order on up until when I picked up. They even helped carry it to my vehicle. Awesome place and would definitely recommend to anyone!!!!

He took the time to answer questions, help me find what I had been looking for, and explained about the website. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He put my groceries in my vehicle. They have the best fried chicken! It is a pleasure to shop here.

Applied for a full-time job that was posted. I spoke with the Grocery Manager, Forest. Forest told me that Publix only hires part-time. Theres a reason why Publix is always hiring!

Always an issue at checkout. Not enough lanes open. Too slow, too social. Got home today and my blueberries were dumped in my bag. IN one bag he put berries, asparagus, red peppers, carrots, zucchini and tomatoes. Couple of days before that checkout woman didnt know how to take a gift card. Had to wait for a manager. Love the managers.

This store is always clean and has new items that might not yet be in other grocery stores. The staff are ALWAYS super friendly and eager to help you, if you need it. Prices are reasoable. Specials are great.

I started using this pharmacy about 2 months ago, and after my first visit I moved all of my prescriptions to this location. The pharmacists are incredibly kind, and they go out of their way to help each customer. Theyve remembered me each time Ive gone in and welcomed me by name, a thoughtful gesture that is hard to come by nowadays. I will definitely continue to shop here, and I highly recommend that others do the same.

I went here and one of the brown haired teen employees was definitely on something. Should really do drug tests or hire staff that is responsible. Other than that publix deli has good food.

Easy in and easy out. Friendly associates. During the grand opening customers get a reusable Publix bag.There’s a Starbucks located inside.If you’re needing food or dessert for a catered event. They also have that for you.Hot food is sold as well as a salad bar and subs made fresh while you wait.They make sushi daily.There’s also a pharmacy located inside.

Pretty run of the mill on most things, but they have the best fried chicken in the area. When you order from their hot bar they give you generous portions. The bakery is also outstanding.A lot of yuppity folks shop here, however.

What a disappointment! I went into Publix with high hopes. An hour later I left frustrated and without a third of the items on my list. Their bakery department was almost non-existent. I could not find basic sub rolls. The meat department had a third of the selection of a local Kroger. The packaged meat area only offered Publix and national brand products. No local or regional meats such as SausageWorks. Prices on Publix brand products were reasonable but other items were over priced. The store is clean and nicely arranged and the staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be. Publix is going to have to step it up to survive in Richmond.

Went to the grand opening. It looks great. I look forward to shopping there. However, Im very disappointed there is no hot breakfast food. But if I ever want sushi or a full salad bar at 7:00 AM, hey, at least I got that...

Paid around $8.00 for a salad. (Deli cold bar.) Well, the chopped boiled eggs are awful. I cant belive i didnt see them wen I scooped them. The smell its so bad, it lityeraly mad me ill. I would have went back over but I dont think it would make much difference. They made it out to the service area.... I was a kichen manager for 5 years and worked on a line much longer. It made it put to the floor because NO ONE TOOK THE TIME TO CHECK THAT YPU WERNT GOING TO MAKE SOME ONE SICK. There is no pride in work like this. I never shopped here due to the over price on everything, now you have me as a deli customer. Wonder what happened to Ucrops and Martins...........

Nice grocery store. Beautifully designed, very clean, and the employees are very helpful. Unfortunately, despite all that, every time Ive been in a Publix, Im disappointed in the selection, and the pricing (relative to other grocery stores I like to frequent) is higher. For those reasons, Publix tends to be a fill-in grocery stop, and not a first choice for the main grocery list in the house.

Publix at John Rolfe location is my favorite store to test new and tasty apron recipes. The employees are nice, helpful and always smile. The produce is the best. I also like the deli and ready to go meals.

I asked if they had any more 8 piece fried chicken , they said, they just dropped some in fryer, should be ready in 20 mins. I said , thats fine, I will wait . 2 other people behind counter asked if they could help me , I said , no thank you, I am waiting for the chicken. After 30 mins of waiting quietly, I noticed 4 people behind the counter whispering and looking over at me waiting. After waiting another 10 min, one of the ladies came over to me and say , Sorry , no one dropped the chicken in the fryer , what did I what to do now? I said, Ill go KROGER!! You have Rude employees.

Recently ordered some catered items for a family gathering on line. We hit the jackpot . First of all Jo .... she is the ultimate connoisseur/consigliere if all things delicously catered. Prompt, organized and thorough. The shrimp were very large and perfectly cooked. The tabouli was the best I can remember having, rivaling even those I’ve had at Mediterranean food festivals or restaurants. A pasta salad with tomato, mozzarella, loaded with olive oil. Delicious sandwich platters bulging with meats & cheese. Outstanding .

I love Publix. I drive past 2 stores just to go to Publix and there is a Kroger literally in front kf my apartment complex. I felt a little uneasy when using the self checkout today. The lady working at the self checkout at 1:34pm today (11-16-2017) came up behind me and startled me then proceed to get in my way as if I had no clue what I was doing and made me feel stupid. She never asked if I needed help or greeted me. If I needed help I would have asked for it. I did have an issue with the scale or something at one point then she proceeded to just stay in my way for a minute or so. I backed up for feer of any contact and getting accused of anything. I finished my purchase and getting ready to leave and she said she would take my cart. That was nice of her. But I still felt as if she was trying to be friendly and helpful but overdoing it without greeting me and asking if I needed any assistance. If I wanted help like that I would have gone to a regular register and not a self checkout register. Other than this issue, Publix is amazing!!
