My almost 70yr old mother was told by Verizon customer service, to replace her cable box due to it malfunctioning. Upon arrival to the location provided, forest hill, my mother was informed that they did not have any more. Asking where could she take it to exchange for another one, she was told John Roth location. When inquiring about the address she was rudely asked if she had Google and to Google it. I had to return to the store to ask that they call the location as well as provide the exact address. Good customer service would have been to do this for my mother while she was in the store, considering the challenge it was to get to the forest hill location (road construction, accident, traffic back up). Furthermore she’s a senior citizen, calling on her behalf and providing better customer service would’ve been greatly appreciated. I’d like to note that this reviews is a reflection of the work of one staff member not all.

I bought a new phone and had my data transferred. When I received my bill there was a new line charge for my I watch which I did not authorize or need. I went back to have it corrected to be told that they couldn’t disconnect the service. When I asked why it was added, the employee said she didn’t add it, however in dealing with Verizon customer service, they said, indeed the order came in with my new phone service. So the employee flat out lied to me. I spent about 4 hours to get this issue corrected. She also lied about how much my monthly bill would increase. Won’t use this store again.

I came here to turn in my cable boxes due to increased monthly services. I kept the internet. I also transferred my numbers while there which prompted the associate to attempt to upgrade my phone. I made it clear I didnt want an increased bill but of course it would be costly almost an $70 increase. Negative. Verizon is very expensive but had them for years.

Very misleading!While my initial experience here was good. After 1 month in Verizon corporate failed to deliver on the promises that were made.I was also given a bill by victra that showed no activation fee. This was a lie. I was told I would receive a 500 dollar gift card for switching from at&t. This was a lie.The list goes on and on.Clearly victra stores need to do a better job of being open and honest about thier relationship with Verizon corporate!

Version may have a fast network, but they must have the slowest customer service on the planet. And, who knew that Version and Fios are NOT the same company. Not me. Damn near every advertisement Ive seen has been for Verizon/Fios. Oh well, that means that you cant take Fios equipment to a Verizon store if you want to upgrade your set box top. Only certain stores in the Richmond area carry Fios gear. So, after you wait forever they still may not be able to help you. Believe me, if youre over 65, dont go, we dont have that much time to waste.

Cameron is awesome. He made eye contact and assists me right away. He made sure I got the phone I wanted at the lowest price. He made a personal connection with me about college football and remembering passwords. He was extremely helpful and polite. He even came out to my car to ensure my Bluetooth was properly connected. Verizon definitely provided me excellent service!!

Poor service, came to return a router and saw that many of the employees are just bojangling and playing on their phones while they say please give us a second and seat you to wait until theyre done playing on their phones. One employee by the name of jarius I believe was working with a customer and eating in front of her face. Seems a little unprofessional in my opinion. Some of the workers probably havent worked in customer service industry until now.

They make you jump through 100 hoops to cancel your service. Went to another store who wouldnt accept my router return. Came here only to wait for an hour to return this router. Absolutely ridiculous, they charge too much for their service and terrible customer service. Never getting involved with this company again.

I really love this location because the people working there know exactly what they are doing. This is the second time I have gotten a new phone from this specific location and I really love how helpful and informative they are. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because today was a little frustrating due to how long the process was taking and it was completely out of their control and they did a lot to help me. But I did feel like I was not given the full experience like I was given the first time around. I left without a phone case or screen protector for my new phone. I was in a bit of rush at that point though because I had been there for over an hour. So the 4 stars are more for the Verizon system and less for the staff, because they were great.

He fixed a minor error I had experienced quickly and cheerfully, and apprised me of some good promotions for items I was in the market for. I recently upgraded my iPhone from a 5s to a 12. Both phones have a lightening charging port. I was told by my sales associate that I needed to purchase new power blocks that have the USB-C port to recharge my new phone and that if I tried to use my old power blocks that I would damage my new phone. They were also out of power blocks so I was referred to Best Buy to purchase new recharging equipment. My research on line says this is not true and that you can use your old power blocks with lightening connectors. Beware!

Be aware of the prices they are telling you here! Went in to purchase a phone case and screen protector. Sales rep said screen protector was $65 and Phone case was $45..Target had the same phone case for $31.99 and the screen protector was on the brands website for $49.99. In conclusion, Sales rep def. tried to get me to purchase a $49.99 case for $65... Once I said I would pass, he mentioned he would discount me $25 putting the screen protector at its ACTUAL Price. Thankful for the discount but disappointed in the fact that the Sales rep trying to get me to pay $30 more than regular price. Just beware. Do your price research before you purchase here.

Was very excited to purchase a new phone and was interested in the note 10. I have been dealing with Alyssa at the Forest Hill location located on 7029 Forest hill ave, Richmond, va 23225. We were waiting for the phone to get in because it was out of stock, so she offered to give me the note 10+ at the same price as the note 10.Received the prorated bill for the next month and did not see the credit for the $300 promo that was promised and the discount that was promised for the phone, so I ended up getting overcharged for the difference in the phone which was $150.00, which ended up being a $450.00 difference. Spoke with Alyssa via text and she advised me that she was going to get with her manager and see where the mix-up happened and explained to me that Verizon usually sends everyone a high estimate at first and then the next month it gets back to normal.***3 Months later and am still waiting for the results*** Still waiting on the $300.00 promo credit and $150.00 discount on phone and taxes. Sales associate has been very kind and pleasant to deal with, but the Managers leave a lot to be desired. If you get promised something, you will never get it. Trust me I know. Make sure you get it in writing before signing on the dotted line.***Update*** Sent a email to Verizon Corporate and Victra Corporate on 7/29/20. Awaiting reply.

A friend and I went here on my birthday to get new phones. There was a deal on an iPad, so my friend took advantage of it. However, the salesperson informed us the iPad was on backorder for a few days - he would call us in two days to come pick it up. Five days later, we called and mentioned we were coming by but hadn’t heard from our sales guy. It was UNBELIEVABLY difficult to get through to the store. The phone rings and when it isn’t answered it is transferred to a hub, where they can’t track the item. The hub then has to try to get through to the store that we were just unsuccessful reaching - it is a maddening, endless cycle. Each time we went through this frustrating ordeal (three times over two months) to see if the iPad was in, we were met with a frustrated sales person who slowly reiterated to us like we were children that he would call us when it was in. That day we first walked in was January 26. Today is March 12 and we have spent yet another frustrating hour IN THE STORE WITH A TRACKING CONFIRMATION waiting to pick up the iPad, and yet no one can find it. And although there is a tracking number stating that it was signed for by V. Erizon (really?) on FEB 11, here we sit with a bunch of dumbfounded-looking sales people saying “It’s not here.” Has anyone called FedEx to inquire? Nope! Has anyone offered to make this ridiculous two-month long inconvenience right for us? Nope! Not a single gesture of good will, much less an apology. If there is one place I recommend you AVOID when you need new communication devices, it is this VICTRA store.

Devon was great. Found me better, expanded service at a lower price. He appreciated that I am on a limited, retirement income. I needed to replace my damaged cellphone. I could have used the insurance, but with a $200 deductable, it made more sense to pay off the old phone and upgrade from an S9 to a new S20.He also showed me cheaper options. And I was impressed with his deep knowledge of the products.My only complaints have nothing to do with Devon. One, the company needs to rename this office something like Regional Corporate Support Center or something else to quickly distinguish it from regular stores online. And put some chairs outside for customers awaitung admittance!

I don’t recommend trusting this store’s management for anything beyond basic transactions, for which I recommend you properly document & follow up with. If you are faced with any unexpected problems requiring management (Brian Lipes, store manager) to respond to, management will *not* advocate for you.**The store staff are diligent, honest, patient, and hardworking. They are awesome!** Problematic is the management team that has the power to resolve problems, but doesn’t care for their customers when they need them. Verizon is always going to have a long line of people, it’s the best network money can buy. Given that, the store manager does very well at assisting multiple customers at a single time, they are prompt and accurate as well as by the book. I appreciate you asking for my I.D. When accessing my account as previous managers didn’t. That makes the world of difference knowing this store won’t allow fraud or anyone to break policy and procedures. Keep up the good work.
