Completely useless if you have an issue, but youll get a lot of attitude from Te-Von H and Taylor if they cant make a buck out of you. Skip this place and go to a corporate store that would be more willing to help out with any issues.

I just have to say a praise for the young manager Tevon H. at go wireless on S. Laburnum. I have been in a few times with issues about my phone. Im a boomer and this new technology escapes me totally! He has helped me with my phone, patiently a few times. Hes extremely knowledgeable and polite. This last time I really messed up the phone. It was resolved quickly. Thank you , your a great asset to the company.

Went to get a screen protector for my iPhone 7. Have always went in and got 1 free with my plan no problems. The woman sales rep laughed and said that phone is “like 8 phones ago.” I’m aware that I have an old phone but it works fine so why upgrade. She said they couldn’t order one for me and that the program ended. I was told they would be free for the lifetime of my phone. I get it stuff happens and policies change, I just didn’t appreciate the condescending tone. I’ve been a Verizon customer for over 20 years but will look into a competitor when I want to upgrade.

If you have an issue with your account dont go to this location, they cant or wont help at all, but youll sure get plenty of attitude from Taylor and the store manager. This is just a Franchise store not a corporate store.

Purchased an item with a 30 day return policy on Dec 12, 2020. Made a couple of attempts to return it but the store was very busy during holidays. Today Jan 11, 2021 and I go in store with only one other customer. I thought great! The customer service rep said I couldn’t return item because it’s over 30 days. It’s exactly 30 days. He even phoned a manager. It’s a GoWireless system flaw and no one can override. Then, call customer service to get hung up on before I talk to anyone. GoWireless company stinks for service and policy procedures. Buyer beware

Customer service was superb. Te-Von H. helped me with a problem with my hum that customer service couldn’t help me with.

Intended to cancel a line. Ended up I could do the same at home, online that they were trying to do for me. Took too long. Left and went home and accomplished my task. Nothing against those employees, just need a different/quicker way to help customers in-store.

I went in to switch my number to a different phone and had several questions in mind. The young man who helped me was extremely patient and thorough. I cannot thank him enough, wish I could recall his name. I am certain that the other people work at this location would have done a great job as well.

I just wanted to make a complaint. My husbands phone broke and he is a business owner and HAS to have his phone and we walked into the store at 4:32pm and the guy working told us he couldnt help us bc the inventory was locked up..... Why would inventory be locked up if youre open for another 30 mins? Whats the point in doing that specially in emergencies like this. We called another store that was 20 mins from us and they said their inventory was still out.... Sooooo Im confused?? I have been with Verizon for over 10 years as well as my husband and I have never had an issue. Best believe I will NEVER use 4742 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231 store again!

I had a wonderful experience at this location. My sales rep Dani was very knowledgeable as well as pleasant to work with. I would recommend anyone to go there. She was Great. Verizon is lucky to have such great employees.

During a difficult cellular service problem, that turned out to be the fault of Apple, I was very happy with the customer service I received at this store. More specifically, I received excellent assistance from an employee named Derrick, who not only helped me figure out that my cell phone was one of a small group manufactured that has been affected by this issue, but also assisted me in calling apple and giving me directions to the store since am new to the area. Since technology is not my forte and I am unhappy with my experience with my Apple product, he even showed me alternative phone options and explained many of the features they contained while my phone was having diagnostics run and updates attempted. When I am ready to switch to a new phone I will be coming back to this store to choose the best option for me, hopefully with the assistance of Derrick.

I recently visited this store to purchase a new iphone. Following the purchase I went back to the store for assistance with setting up and utilizingthe features of my new phone. Eric, one of the salespersons, provided very courteous and patient assistance. As I am barely competent in using this--or any kind--of technology, my experience with Eric was truly gratifying.

Tyler assisted me on my last 2 visits to the store. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. He made sure i was able to access my discounts for accessories, replaced my 16 yr olds raggedy screen protector, and exchanged my malfunctioning car charger. Don’t bother going to this location if you’re looking to upgrade. This is not a corporate Verizon and is a franchised location meaning they’re privately owned and subject to any rules the owner may subject the location to.I was told they have mandatory bundle packages that add about $150 to the cost of the upgrade when I was trying to upgrade to the iPhone XS Max.You’re better off going to a corporate store than being ripped off by this location.

Horrible experience. We went in looking for a screen protector for my mother-in-laws phone. First the representative was standing outside smoking and hanging out. She did greet us and open the door for us, but thats where the courtesy stopped. She was short with us, and impatient, sighing loudly when we misunderstood her explanation of the very exspensive screen protectors. Our confusion coming from the fact the price tags where self-professed incorrect and randomly placed. Over all we were so turned off by the experience that we walked out to go to Best Buy.

Purchaed a phone from here a few years ago. The retailer does not seem to carry any of the accessories to support the phones they carry (cases, chargers, screens, etc.) Each time I have visited with a problem I was not able to get my problem fixed. I came in recently to inquire about a my battery draining. There was nothing they could do onsite (if I didnt want to purchase another battery.) I asked about getting my cracked screen saver replaced and was told that they had to order it from another store but they would call me in the morning when it came in. I am still waiting for that call.

I recently got Bluetooth Hearing aids and along with my Iphone and Truck, I got messed up today and loss the ability for my phone to work with my Truck. Michael, who was the only worker on tonight was able to assist me once the two other customers left . Michael was able to get my phone and truck synched up again.Thank you so much Michael

I was very dissatisfied with my experience at this establishment. Over the course of 2 weeks, I had to spend more than 4.5 hours at the Verizon store due to poor communication with the in-store staff and their customer service representatives via phone. The individual who was helping me did not present as very knowledgeable about the products or the services provided. He was also not clear as to what I would have to do to complete the transaction following my initial visit at the store (i.e. details related to Trade-In procedure). I was overcharged due to poor communication and was sent on a wild goose chase to right their wrong. I have purchased many cell phones from this establishment in the past, but the staff that assisted me at that time have been replaced with a group that appears to need more training. I also do not feel like it is appropriate for the customer service representative to be texting and using his personal cell-phone while engaged with a costumer. Perhaps if he was paying more attention to the customer, things would not have gotten so mixed up. I regret not asking for management to take over the transaction, though they were involved multiple times during the process due to the representatives limited ability to complete the task at hand. Going forward, I will opt to battle the crowds at a flagship store in lieu of wasting hours of my life at this sorry excuse for a store.
