My experience for this place is Wonderful. Good people to bring anything apple for them to fix it or even get a new one for whatever you need. I have been here for every child I have,myself & other family/friends. They also have great communication with all there customers. Overall one of the BEST experience that i have , they team is respectful and they work hard toResolve any technical issue you may have. Awhile ago i got my phone fix , had some minor issues but it’s wasn’t nothing they could not fix. They offer a 90 day warranty that i had pass after a few days and they still worked with me and fixed it under the warranty. I HIGHLY Recommend and i don’t even write reviews! Please go see them , better than apple if you ask me with great affordable prices.

I had an incredible experience with Experimax on West Main St. I am a skeptic when dealing with businesses that service things like computers and vehicles. However, the team at Experimax made me a believer. The staff is clearly knowledgeable and exceedingly competent and the owner seems to demand excellent customer service from them all. I can’t say enough about this team. I’m happy to leave my devices with them in the future. They’ve earned my confidence and my business going forward.

I thought my poor late 2012 iMac was gone forever, but these amazing folks were able to revive it and have it back to me very quickly. The only store that had a Dell 65W real charging cord. I went to 6 stores both in the west end and on south side with my computer to see. Believe me the compatible chargers are not compatible. Check out the computers while your here also. Great prices!!

Wonderful experience today at Experimax!. Ive been here before & always received great service. But today took the cake. Leonard and Alex could not have been more helpful. I needed to quickly add Microsoft Word to my MacBook Air. I had tried with another technician elsewhere who said it wasnt possible. But Leonard and Alex DID IT! Not only did they install Word, they installed all the newest versions of Microsoft Office Suite! And, they didnt charge me a thing! I will never go elsewhere. GREAT service, great location, and super helpful and friendly. Thank you, Alex and Leonard!

OMG! All of these guys are great! Especially Justin but they all are so helpful and patient and most importantly trustworthy!!! I was about to go down a remote viewer scam rabbit hole and Justin saved me from it! I have recommended two other friends to them and they both raved about them as well! There is nothing worse than having computer / printer problems that completely stop your work. They have always saved the day!! Ive brought my iPhone SE to this place a few times now (for some reason I havent wanted to part with it). I ended up having a completely cracked screen and left it with the experts there to replace. Not only did they replace with a new screen they replaced with a new battery with no additional cost. Very nice, very fast and very generous. Will be back for all my future electronic repairs.

It has been over 2 weeks since I dropped off my laptop. I was told the repair would take 5 days. I was told when I called to check on my laptop, 9 days after dropping it off, that I could pick it up later that day. Then got a call 30 minutes later saying it would be another 7 to 10 days before I could get it back. As someone who works from home on that laptop this is unacceptable. I have to call the check in on my laptop, the staff is not very communicative. I cannot yet comment on the quality of repair but so far the customer service has been severely underwhelming.Edit: Picked up my laptop 15 days after dropping it off. Took it home and it stopped working with the same issue within 4 hours. Took it back to the store and they were able to fix their own work by the next day. Total time investment was 16 days but they did give me a refund on the original repair because it broke same day. So far, 5 days after picking it up the 2nd time, the repair is holding and laptop is working fine.

My computer was on its last legs so I needed to do something about it. I had a good experience at Experimac on Main St a couple of years ago when Leonard, the manager, took care of my cracked screen, so I went back to Experimac to inquire about buying a new MacBook Pro. Leonard said he could do that for me but suggested a money saving option- buying a used MacBook Pro with a larger screen with a huge increase in memory and storage. Perfect! I love the new computer.One problem, though- my hard drive was on the fritz and wouldnt fully boot up. I was crushed because all of my itunes playlists did not make the transfer. Im a music collector and had spent hundreds of hours curating playlists. Justin noticed my disappointment and spent hours and over a week(I think sometimes at home) figuring out a way to get that hard drive to reboot. Amazingly, he kept at it even after several failed attempts until he recovered everything. What a relief!!!!!The Experimac staff really cares about their customers. I will never go anywhere else!

Absolutely excellent customer service! My 2010 MacBook Pro’s ram was stuck in it’s bay. Not only did they rescue my bar, we upgrade my ram and strategized my beast for best optimization and cost. All inside of 20 minutes!!Can’t say enough about this consistently talented staff. I’ll be back in sooner than they think.

Customer service exceeded expectations.I needed a new keyboard for my Lenovo laptop. When I called to inquire about procedure, friendly customer service was given. I took my laptop in to ensure that the correct part was ordered. Staff and customers were socially distanced, and I was treated respectfully. I went for a laptop repair. The staff told me it will be 24-48 hrs. I received a call a few hours later stating my laptop was repaired and ready to be picked up. The staff was clear and concise of the problem and how it was fixed. I will definitely return to support this local business

These guys are the real deal! My computer broke on the second day of class, but they were able to quickly diagnose the issue and fix it in an efficient and affordable manner. When I say that they saved my life, I am only slightly exaggerating. In addition to their top-notch repairs, they give you a one year warranty on the work they perform. Just went by this store because I needed new earbuds and there were two people working. One was wearing his mask on his chin and the other was wearing his covering his mouth but not his nose. There was a sign on the window saying customers are required to wear masks and employees will be as well. I did not feel safe going in as they had both clearly been maskless for a little while, and aerosols can linger in the air for hours. Disappointing, but I’ll look somewhere else or buy online :(

My Macbook was in the OS Big Sur startup loop and it was way beyond what I could fix. I thought I would have to leave it with them for a night or a few days, but they were able to work it out same day. Very positive experience.

Having had moved from the west coast to the east coast, I hadnt backed up my iMac in over a year and suddenly my HD was failing. I took it to these guys who not only saved all 730GB of my art files but put a new hard drive on too, all at an incredible price! And they are friendly and obviously know their stuff! I’ll give them 2 stars instead of 1 because they warrantied the second iPhone screen, but DO NOT, I repeat: DO NOT have them install a new screen on your iPhone. 6 months ago I had them install one and within 6 months the whole screen came off! No cracks, no drops, had it in a case, and one day I took it out of the case b/c the screen wasn’t responding correctly and THE ENTIRE SCREEN had popped off of the phone! I went back and they wouldn’t warranty that one, said the case probably caused it???? So I paid another $120 or something. That screen started to come off like 3 weeks later and that’s the one they warrantied. I hadn’t put that one in a case or anything, this time they said it was probably b/c the phone was left in the sun??? No, it was not. Now, not even a week later THAT screen is starting to come apart. What is it this time? Is it the aliens that probably shot it with a ray gun?
