I picked up my order to go and it tasted great it was just very greasy. I would definitely come back and I would definitely recommend them. It’s not a morning breakfast that I could eat often because of the grease, but it’s a good change of pace and variety from the norm.

I had so much fun here. The bagels are amazing yummy and fresh! If I lived near here Id be so huge🤣🤣 definitely gonna come back. Si many flavors to choose from. Lol I felt like a child in a candy store 😅

I pickup for delivery and I always have the worst experience. I wanted to buy a soda and the associate just walked away. They will never get my business again.

Cashier belittled the staff taking the orders yelling across the counters. Another order did not have a name listed so again yelled at same staff member. While determining the sandwich, cashier with no gloves,touching money and other surface areas, opened up the wrapper on the sandwich. I only got a bagel but this was disappointing to be honest.

First of all, I love Einstein bagels! their bagels are always hot fresh and delicious. This was the first time I had been to this particular location. Very clean and updated atmosphere. The employees are very friendly, courteous, kind and speedy! I got the asiago with cream cheese today. Absolutely delicious to say the least. It definitely hit the spot! I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone who loves bagels

Begals are super fresh. My only problem is you ask for cream cheese and they give you the bare minimum. I had to call back like wheres the cream cheese. They are going to replace my order. Overall its good stuff

Customer service needs improvement. Not sure if the young lady was a manager or shift leader, she could do a better job of not deflecting her frustrations outwards. Meaning, conduct yourself with a level of poise at all times. No one should see you sweat, even if its challenging and orders may be behind.

Good food here, a little pricey but thats OK, to be expected, they offer delivery also...

Customer service is always terrible at this location and they are always out of bagels. Ordered an online order for curbside pick up, after 5 minutes of waiting in the pick up spot, we called the store and they said they were out of the bagel we ordered. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Solid bagels but they don’t know their own menu/ordering system. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and at first they thought I wanted something from the lunch menu + 2 eggs. Then they claimed combos didn’t exist even though they were on the menu. Even when they claimed “fixed it” I was still charged for each item individually (Overcharged) though couldn’t have been clearer in my request for a combo. I decided to let it go and not explain further and pay extra.

Its a shame that this place has one 3.8 stars and not 5, because it deserves it. I assume this area of Richmond is too snobby to know a decent fast food joint, which is unfair. They were SLAMMED when my boyfriend and I chose this place for a late breakfast. The employees were kind, the service was SO fast I couldnt believe it. They got through the entire backed up line quick and customers were still coming in. The food was good too, and for the price! Great job, highly recommend.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! I host monthly events for work and I thought it would be a great idea to get some bagels for one of them. I went online and tried to place an order but couldnt because I had to pay cash. I called the store, and went through the automated response to the catering department. I told them I had to pay cash so the lady on the phone asked me to call the local store (same number I had just called.) I called the same number again and pressed 3 to talk to the store. They lady in the store was rude and not helpful at all. She said that she was not able to place the order and that I had to call catering. So I called, once again. The guy that answered the phone said that I had to call the store. I explained to him the whole situation and how many times Ive called and he called the store while I waited. They came to an agreement that we would show up the next morning to just get everything and pay for it. I showed up first thing in the morning to get everything and the girl in the store was extremely rude and told me that she was not doing it, I called catering while in the store and they told her she had to do it and she kept refusing to do so. So here I am, morning of the event with no plan. I ended up going to Chick fill-a and they saved the day! But save yourself terrible costumer service and all the stress and just go somewhere else!

Not sure, but there seems to have been large staff turnover. I work nearby and have been going here for lunch for years, but in recent months the quality of service has definitely declined. The older employees are great, but the new ones need more training and arent even very friendly. The past few times I have stopped in I question why I have even come back!

Misleading signs about specials before 11 am. Was told my purchase included two cream cheeses. At the register additional charge for cream cheeses. Special showed $9.99. Was told it included two cream cheeses. At the register the purchase was $16. I walked away

This place has gone so far downhill. Used to be awesome food, awesome service. We went every week for lunch. In the last couple of months its been awful. Rude/unhappy service, dirty restaurant, flat bagels, no good selection of bagels unless you get here earlier. This place will likely not be open much longer which is sad.

Nova Lox on an everything bagel Always the best!

If you want to be told to come earlier in order to get a bagel of choice accompanied by attitude, then the Libby location is for you. The last four times I arrived at the store at 10:15 AM and many of the standard bagel bins (poppy seed and sesame) were empty. I have been going to this location for years but will not again. If I want a really good bagel, Ill go to Boychiks from now on.

I ordered simply a classic blueberry bagel. Received something that I thought came from a mom and pop shop! Large, warm and chewy bagel with the honey almond shmear, drizzled with honey...it was everything! They even upsized my hot mocha from a med to large...all because they felt like I waited too long! Great service by great people who take pride in their craft, definitely returning!

Complete indifference to mask wearing at this location. Two counter people had masks below their noses, guy leaning over egg poacher had mask around his chin. I walked out. Come on, this is peoples *food*!

Im not real big on bagels, but this place is slowly turning me around. The staff is friendly and willing to offer suggestions. I just wish they had a few more sandwich options on their menu. However, the bagel selection is pretty wide and varied, and the coffee here is also pretty good. This location also maintains a pretty clean restaurant.

Food is good, sometimes the staff is all over the place and have even been rude on occasion. If you want to test your patience, go during the church rush on a Sunday because this place turns into a gongshow then aka seriously, avoid this place on Sundays at all cost. Lox is delicious though!

If you want to buy a dozen bagels and want good selection, you have to get there before lunch. For being open until late afternoon, the selection was rather small by the time I got there, around 12:30

Very rude staff. Came in 20 minutes before closing, Diane was behind the counter. We asked for the meal as dine in, and she was happy to inform us that they closed in 19 minutes and she would be promptly locking the doors at 5. We changed out order to to go. I ordered a sandwich with egg, and she told us it would take her five minutes to make an egg and to choose something else. I opted to not have the egg, even though there was plenty of time. We were not refunded for our lack of egg. She was incredibly rude. Not a good experience.

My favorite bagel is the jalapeno cheddar with the onion & chive OR the garlic herb cream cheese schmear. Coffee selection is good as well. I believe its Caribou Coffee. Love the Hazelnut. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because they are not open past 5:00pm. Sorry, sometimes I really just need a bagel and a coffee for dinner.

We went 2 times recently and they are terrible! I used to go all the time a few years ago and the food was great and service was also!Now the people are untrained. The girl that waited on us was not the brightest. She didnt understand what we wanted. We finally got it made and it was ok but we could make it better at home. Had to go back and ask for our sides!We bought 6 bagels box and she gave us 5 . When I said that she was confused! I even said in a six bagel box dont you get 6? Theres only 5! She just looked at me dazed!!!Hope they go back to how they used to be!

Good bagels with fast and friendly service. The cafe area was clean and their dark roast coffee was surprisingly good. This was my first time at a stand-alone Einsteins and I can definitely see myself going back.

Great bagels and bagel sandwiches and a very helpful kind staff! I absolutely do not have a sour word to say about this place. I have ordered a dozen different items and they are all delicious! My latest is the mac and cheese breakfast sandwich it was super yums.

I just wanted to comment on what happened this morning. The register was offline so the staff were unable to charge us but kept serving customers. As I fixed my coffee, a number of us chatted and said we felt bad about it and we would make a point of coming back again this weekend. This time I will bring my children and make sure to make up for this morning. Thank you for being so kind. It made my day!!!

Kathy, the GM was really professional and took my Nova Lox order promptly. Ambience was good and the staff quite attentive. My bagel was ready before I finished pouring the coffee. This small town bagel shop offered great experience.

Ill change this review to 5 stars when they adjust the height of their light fixtures against the back wall so I dont slam my head into them standing up from their chairs. Light fixtures directly above a chair should not be only 5 1/2 feet high

Um, it’s 7:30 am on a Saturday and your front doors are locked. The lights are on and bagels are out. What am I missing here?

It’s like many of employees here are TRYING to be rude. I didn’t come for several months due to how absurdly rude they are, the manager especially and in particular, and I came back today and it’s as friendly as ever. Also, unrelated to your rudeness, but get a foundation soda refill button. Every other Einstein’s in the richmond area has it.

The cold brew coffee was actually pretty good at this location; bagel tasted fine, just super small.

It is an Einsteins Bros. Bagels. I always get friendly service at this location. The bagel sandwiches do nicely and their new cinnamon winter coffee blend is tasty.

Great food but issues with app not loading ☹

On Saturday morning, I visited this location. I live close and I love the bagels at Einstein. As I was waiting for my bagel, I was handed a bag with what I thought was my order. It turns out it was meant for someone else as one of the employees got it mixed up. No problem. From here forward, there seemed to be some heated disagreement between some of the employees. At least a couple of them were berating the male employee for getting the orders mixed up. It turned into a very uncomfortable, unprofessional and uninviting situation. One female employee in red seemed to be the worst. I asked another employee if she was a manager but she was not. I never did find out who was. If they were present, they were not managing well. At all. Not a warm environment one bit!I will continue to visit this location because most every other experience has been very pleasant and the bagels are very good. Hopefully that scenario does not happen again.

Due to our most recent visit, we have a completely revised view of this location. If you, the personnel and management of this facility, believe someone is mentally or emotionally injured, does this mean its fair and right for you to injure and/or deprive them of their human dignity? When your franchise has painstakenly developed clientele, is it fair to the franchise and brand to let your personal prejudices allow you to injure the customers self respect and appreciation for the brand and location? Especially since it can only be based on gossip and slander? We believe Richmond to be a community where human dignity is respected. But our recent experience with your business leaves us less confident. If you cant respect the dignity of every human being, how can we respect you? After all, no matter how broken this world may have left us, are we not all created in Gods image?

I absolutely love this place! I always get the same thing for breakfast .. Farmhouse double egg on a French Toast Bagel with the Maple Shmear and its to die for! Usually it has a pepper shmear which is really good too. I will switch off from time to time. But that maple shmear is the best! Since I was informed that its the lowest asked for/selling shmear theyre gonna get rid of it which makes me sad! So I bought 2 containers of the shmear for at home when I cant go to einstein. But when I can Im still gonna keep asking for the maple shmear until Im told its no longer available! Its that good. I also get the frozen caramel caribou coffee with whip cream and extra caramel! Its so so good!

Amazing flavors, selections. Clean store. Fast service. Technological hiccups, i.e. tap and pay not working, but generous compensation!

Me and my wife came in the day before Thanksgiving, there was a woman working there who was very sick, and should have been home that day. She was handling food without gloves, didnt wash her hands after touching money and was coughing and sneezing into her hands without washing afterwards. Me and my wife, who is 7 months pregnant have since then contracted the flu due to this carelessness. We wont be coming back to this location.

Came in after lunch rush, no line. I passed Panera on the way here, panera was packed, einstein wasnt. I dont understand why, Einstein is much better. Much better coffee too.

Twice in the last week, my co-worker has stopped in to get a bagel for him and myself and both times they have burnt the bagels. Im not talking a little burnt either.
