They outdid themselves on the quality of their service. The service people were knowledgeable and fast. The tires were a good price and I trust the quality of their work.

They advertise a pre-trip safety check, including shocks and suspension. I took a vehicle in for inspection on. I was suggested some repairs but confirmed with tech that vehicle was SAFE TO DRIVE. I then parked car as there were other repairs that were needed. About a month later I took my other car in for a tire rotation, after which I saw they had cross-threaded a lug nut. After telling them they offered to fix it which resulted in them having to replace the stud, along with the bearing (2.5 hours of work). When I brought the vehicle in they installed the bearing improperly, requiring me to leave my car there for another 2.5 hours. A friend came pick me up in the other car (which had been sitting in a lot since the inspection), and the ball joint fell off (Blall joints have a castle nut with a cotter pin that keeps them from falling off, so obviously there was no cotter pin, keep in mind this happened 6 miles post inspection so its not like I was taking it off-roading or any serious distance of driving) causing damage to the CV axle and tie rod. When I talked to the tech and manager about this they claimed that maybe it had rusted off, or that it was somehow my fault and not their responsibility. I had to call corporate 4 separate times to get them to contact the store and sort it out. When the store manager finally called me he tried to tell me they would take a few hundred dollars off the bill instead of simply fixing it. Upon my persistence they replaced the axle and ball joint. I picked it up and after speaking with the manage who said something along the lines of, There are really only three of us here that really know what we are doing and we cannot constantly watch the new hires again parked it. As I was under it working on the exhaust I can see the axle is not installed properly and all the transmission fluid has leaked out the seal, leaving the vehicle inoperable. I have filed a complaint against them with the BBB and recommend everyone stay away from this store. They offer many free services but you are better off going to a real shop where the technicians know what they are doing.

These guys have helped me twice now- patched a flat tire totally for free last year and now (after a blowout) got me a replacement tire (for super cheap) in like 20 minutes even though they were obviously really busy. They also took the time to top off all my tires with air which I was super grateful for. They’re awesome here.

The customer service and prices here are good. They inspected my suspension and pointed out potential issues as well as how high of a priority they are. The issues they noted were things I had suspected and gotten second opinions on in the past, so I know they didnt add anything unnecessary. They worked with me on the price and completed the job quickly. I will go here for future repairs and maintenance

I have a 2000 CRV that needed a front end alignment. The folks here found a lot of rust and corrosion on the bottom of the car, making any repair risky (because other parts were ready to come loose with any work). Neil, one of the mechanics there, went far beyond the call of duty in having a new clamp built from scratch that made this repair possible. They kept within the budget they quoted me and did a lot of extra work. I am VERY thankful for the care and expertise they put into our car. Outstanding service and work!!

This place is ACES. What is it with great tire places in the mountain west? We came in with a patched tire and came out a new loyal customer. NO CHARGE to take my tire off the car, take the tire off the rim, fill and patch the hole, and put the tire on the rim in the same spot so the tire wouldnt need to be balanced again. Who does this stuff? Schwab does!

We were on a road trip from hell and the cherry on the cake was getting to our hotel and getting out of the car only to hear our tire hissing at us. When I tell you we had a bad day, that was an understatement...so dealing with this tire was the last thing we wanted to do when we finally arrived at our destination. We drove the car carefully over to Les Schwab and they had us in and out in less than 30 minutes with no appointment. They fixed our tire and gave us a guarantee on the fix FOR FREE!! They fixed the tire for free because they are good people with an excellent business model. We had our wallet open ready to just get a $150 kick in the pants, but they handled us perfectly and because of that we will not only recommend Les Schwab, we will be life long customers. Thank you for taking care of us!

Went in for a wheel alignment. I specifically mentioned multiple times I only wanted the front done. When I came back they charged me for all 4 saying, Well they needed it and were saving you money doing it this way. As I drove away my brakes started making this horrible squeak. We had replaced the brakes before bringing it in and they didnt make that sound before they touched it. Not friendly, lots of yelling from the garage and unhappy faces in the office. Do not recommend and will never go back.

Had some issues with our raft trailer tires while traveling for the holiday weekend. We called ahead and Zack had us fixed up and back on the road before our dog had a chance to go to the bathroom! Saved the trip for us!

I had replaced a ti rod end and just needed them to adjust it and when they called a couple hrs later they had done an inspection that I didnt ask for I just needed a slight adjustment and they proceeded to tell me that the ball joint on the other side of the vehicle was bad I was very passed they try and sell you stuff that isnt even the problem. They are a joke dont take your vehicle there unless you want to pay for unnecessary fixes.

Either they are dishonest or uneducated at this location. My sister in law took her car in to get a tire patched they told her it had a bad wheel bearing that’s what caused the flat…….. not only does that not make sense we took it to a shop in town and trusted family mechanic and they said the wheel bearings were just fine. Time and time again I hear bad things about this les Schwab even one of their employees told me how terrible management treats the employees and regularly take advantage of people WHILE I was standing in the store! People like this don’t deserve your business, they take advantage of customers who don’t know any better. ZERO stars

They told me they needed to replace the bearings and tire rod ends. Quoted me nearly 800 dollars for the job. Took it to another car shop because I didnt think the bearings were bad. Turns out I was right. Watch out and be skeptical! They tried to pull a fast one on me. They may try the same to you.

Best tire experience Ive ever had in my life. I was in and out of the door in 20 minutes. they went above and beyond. I needed one tire as I was driving on a spare(back left) back to Colorado from Montana. they got me a used tire for cheap and put it on the front right so I would be able to have both rear wheels the same. I also was having an issue with another tire and they fixed it free of charge. incredible shop with efficient and pleasant people.

Crooks. Told me they would have to brake parts in order to do my alignment with the grand total being $1500. Took it some where else and they were able to do the alignment with out breaking anything. Came out $75

Really great service. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, what started off as a tie end problem became a motor mount problem. Even though they typically dont do motor mounts, they went ahead and ordered the parts and installed them, without charging me labor. I really appreciated all of their hard work and honesty.

I bought new wheels and tires for my Audi at a Les Schwab location in the Boise area. The very next day I had a business trip to Southern Idaho. During my drive towards Twin Falls, I was experiencing quite the vibration in my steering wheel. I stopped at Les Schwab in Twin Falls to see what might be causing the issue. I was told that they fixed the issue and I was on my way. Unfortunately I experienced the same vibration and stopped in to the Les Schwab in Burley and yet again at a Les Schwab in Idaho Falls and no one was able to fix the problem. Rexburg was my final destination for the day and I decided to give this store a try. The Rexburg shop was very knowledgeable, found the issue and corrected it which resulted in a smooth ride back to Boise.Now, the purpose of this review is not to bash the other stores who failed to properly diagnose my car, I just want to commend the team at the Rexburg store. I would highly recommend taking your vehicles to this location.

I was on the highway well north of this branch, and knew Les Schwab worked with the brand of tires I had and would be familiar with their road side hazard plan, so I had to make the drive, all with a slowly seeping, due to a small rock, tire. I was so suprised and appreciative with how attentive the technician was, and sure of the diagnosis, too, which he was completely correct, but also how the front desk quickly processed the hazard claim...they could, perhaps, have made a long process out of it, but the administrative part of the process was just as seemless as the tire. Ill be back if ever have to, or get to.

I use Les Schwab Service Centers all over the west for all our vehicles, but this one proved special. We have been coming to Idaho for 40+ years. On this trip the Jeep we tow behind our RV got some significant damage on the front wheel and hub.We arrived at 3 pm on a Saturday on a tow truck and every service bay was full and the parking lot was full. We were part of a big rush before the close of business. Jason and crew stayed until after closing to get us a used wheel, a rebuilt hub assembly and remounted tire and safely back on the road. They processed every vehicle in that late afternoon rush and more that came in while I waited. Polite, professional, fast and kept me informed as the day progressed. These guys are the best! We cracked a wheel On our truck hundreds of miles from home, and had problems with our Trailer wheels as well. These guys got us covered with replacements and got us back on the road in just a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. We then returned Monday to get 4 new wheels that they ordered for our trailer (be safe rather than sorry). Reuben was awesome! 2 star for two reasons.I was having snow tires switched out for one car and got there pretty close to opening. Was estimated about 2 or 3 hours it would be done. At 4 hours I had to leave because I needed go to work and the car hadnt been touched. Appointments are not an option here.Also I am considering buying snow tires for a different car and asked one of the ladies at the desk if I could get some pricing on them. She seemed pretty unwilling to have the conversation with me. I didnt know the size of tire my car needed and she was unwillling to look it up. She said just call us when you figure out what size.

If I could give a 0 I would. Those people are DISHONEST! You would think in Rexburg everyone is honest with you, well those people aren’t! Last week my husband and I went to change tiers and they told us that we needed to change our breaks. I specifically asked the guy if they could change only 2 of them since my husband replaced 2 of them by himself. They said these exact words “ when we change the break pads, we change everything else as well, and we ALWAYS do it for the all 4 tires...” The job was 600 dollars and we had to accept since they said they were very bad... now my husband has noticed that they did the job ONLY FOR THE FRONT TIRES!!! I called them and they said that there’s nothing they would do about it! WE JUST NEEDED THE BREAK PADS to be changed, while they instead wanted to do all of that expensive job for 2 TIRES only WHILE THE GUY TOLD ME THEY ALWAYS DO THE 4 TIRES. When I accepted to pay 600 dollars I WAS EXPECTING THEM TO DO THE WORK FOR ALL 4 TIRES. Few weeks earlier, we did a car check for other 630 $!!! Why didn’t they tell us about the tires back then, a month earlier??? DISHONEST! Definitely ILL NEVER GO BACK!

I walked in to this center and they checked out my alignment and made me tension free for the rest of my trip (1000+ miles). My family and I have been with Les Schwab for over 25 years, and I have never left them a review, this time they really outperformed themselves.I live in Boise, ID, but I am working in Rexburg. I bought all new tires, for my F350 Dually, from the Les Schwab on Cole Road in Boise, ID, August 5th 2020. My front passenger wheel was inadequately torqued by the dealership. I called Les Schwab in Rexburg, and they were right there for me, and my crew. Not only were they there, they gave my son a ride back to the hotel, because we are working out of town, and they brought my truck back within an hour and a half. This tire center was so helpful, it reminded me of the full service we had in the 60s and 70s. My sincere gratitude is extended to Neil, Karen, Andrew and Cassidy for taking this stress off my hands, and totally taking care of me, my company, my employees, and my family. Forever Grateful!

Friendly, fast tire repair as part of warranty

I had a problem with brakes after I serviced them. I talked to the mechanics manager, he was calm and understanding of the situation. I realized that this problem didnt involve them but was caused by another auto store. He did me a solid and still assisted me free of charge. He honestly cared about his job and bless those who I didnt mention in this review for helping me out.

Went in for a tire rotation and to have my front end inspected. They were kind but they cross threaded one of my lug nuts creating a much larger headache later. I have been to other les schwabs with no problems but the one in rexburg has lost my trust.

Wow I cannot believe the level of customer service at this location. They were amazing. I was a first time customer and they made sure that I will be coming back from now on. I’ll be here at least for four years for college so they will be receiving all of my friends as well. Thanks guys.

Absolute nightmare to deal with. I usually dont leave reviews, but the people here were shockingly dishonest. You get a smile and a stab in the back. They backed into my car and to my face said not to worry about it, that they were at fault and there was no need to make a police report. I filled out paperwork that day feeling relieved that they had such good customer service. I was so naive. After a month of ghosting me and not answering my calls my husband and I had to hire a lawyer because our car is undriveable and Ive been missing work because I cant commute. After hiring a lawyer I finally heard from them--they blamed it on me even though theyd ghosted my insurance too and were already being held at fault. STAY AWAY, dont be trusting like me.

I come to Les Schwab for all of my non fluid car needs. All of the employees are not only kind and helpful but they are very knowledgeable. I came in today ( 30 minutes before close) and was greeted with a smile by the employees. Jason said hello the moment I walked through the door and got my car in for fixing with no wait time. Went in to get my flat filled and tires rotated while they were at it. The service was quick, the workers were friendly, and the whole service was complimentary. I didnt have to pay a single penny. It was awesome!

Very kind and understanding staff. I got a screw in my tire, and they patched it up for free, even though I didn’t purchase my tires through them or even had an account with them/visited before. Great place.

Went in for a simple alignment, told me that they could do it for $80. Got a call back an hour later saying it would be $180 because the ball joints are messed up. Was fine until that point, and then they called me a 2nd time saying they did a full diagnosis of my front end and that it would be $1,000 before they could align my truck. Took it into Ron’s point S in rigby and they charged me $75 for the alignment and it drives perfectly. Do not go here unless you plan to spend more then you want to.

Im a Rexburg local, two winters ago, I had them put a set of their standard tires on, but they told me I had to have 10 ply tires for my 1500 88 GMC truck, when I only needed 4 ply, needless to say the put a set of $800 10plys on my truck. I have put less than 35,000 miles on the tires, and they r already bald, the tires had 60,000 mile warranties, but all they tell me is Its an old truck what do u expect. I expect a set of 60,000 miles tires as promised in the warranty. They just gave me the shaft, very poor company ethics I and every one I talk too will not be shopping there any longer, CONSUMER BEWARE

I was told it would take an hour (I needed a new spare, plus air and lug nuts tightened for all 8 tires on my truck and trailer rig), BUT, I was out in less than 20 minutes. Everything done with efficiency, professionalism and a smile.

Nice staff, but Ive never had a good experience there... Found the exact same tires they wanted to sell me for $200 less at Walmart. They charged $25 just to reset the tire pressure monitors which you can easily do in 2 minutes on your own if you Google it. Then they wouldnt do any work on my truck because it has wheel spacers... No need to go back there.

My husband brought in the our SUV today! The tire felt like it was losing air! We bought these tires eight months ago! They checked the tires took them off and then said the tire had a tear in do to our car being out of alignment! Then we were told that the warranty does not cover that and we had to pay for two new back tires! Also that it is illegal for them to it the tires back on when flat! So you’re stuck paying for whatever they want to charge you! They can’t follow their own warranty! Do not buy tires here! They’re crooks! 300 for two tires they couldn’t even give us a discount!! Go somewhere else, taking advantage of people is what they do!

I had been looking for stainless steel hub covers and other places had no idea. At the Rexburg Les Schwab I was greeted at the door then he found the parts I needed and one of the other guys had the same set on their truck. They know their industry! They also installed them for free! I will be back!

Great customer service. Frustrated though that they gave me a quote and the final price ended up being more than they originally quoted.I was originally quoted at $370 and the final price ended up being up being closer to $500 and there where apparently problems after that that needed to be taken care of.I was also told it would be about an hour until it was done and ended up being more than 2 hours. I dont have a problem with waiting, but I believe its better to say it will take longer than it will and be surprised when it takes less time.My biggest suggestion is to be more clear up front.

Werent really invested in my business and gave me pretty high prices. Ended going to Wal-Mart in the end. Better warranties and more helpful employees

As a long time customer (over 20 years) I can honestly say these guys are great! My go-to shop for all my wheel and tire needs. Fair prices, outstanding customer service, and the best warranty in the business.

I had some tire issues on my RV earlier in my trip. I needed to balance all 6 wheels and move some tires around. I pulled in and talked to Mike and he grabbed another employee and I told them what I wanted done. They directed me to park in their large truck area. In no time they had all the wheels off the ground and on the balance machine. They had me in and out in about an hour. I immediately took it down the freeway to confirm we were good and we were as smooth as could be. Great job, great service and very fast.

I went in for a leak repair on a tire and they were excellent! They got me right in and made the repair in about 20 minutes. Also, no charge! This is a great service and it is one reason why Les Schwab has a fine reputation.

Without fail, I go in there and I am treated with very little respect. When I am talked to it is in a very condisending manner. Just because they know more about tires doesnt mean they can be rude. Its my car, let me explain what is wrong or what I need and kindly tell me what you can do for me without throwing in my face what do you need then? Also, if you offer free services, dont treat the customer poorly if they cant afford to dump $1000 to fix problems you found that same day.

Great group of people who work at Les Schwab in Rexburg with one of a kind customer service. I went in to put my winter tires on and found out that one of them was blown out. The style of tire I had is no longer sold and the workers helped me to find an inexpensive way to get a set of tires ASAP. If not I would have had to wait for new ones to be shipped. What a convenience since I have a 4 hour drive to work in a few days and I feel comfortable knowing I have good winter tires while driving.

This place is good, I had all four tires changed in less than 20 min. They even cut me a special deal after asking for some tires that were cheaper but out of stock. I recommend this place of you need a quick tire change.

UPDATE: Ive contacted corporate customer service twice as per their request and have heard nothing back. I just took my car (sedan) in for some work and found that the tires are so worn they are showing the wire mesh. So the old worn out tires they put on the sedan werent even safe to be driving on.I gave this place a couple of chances. After spending over $1,500 I expect better service.Car #1 SEDANI bought 4 of their nicest tires they offer for sedans they also came with a 40,000 mile or so warranty. This summer I had them switch from my winter tires back to the new ones I bought the summer before. Since i bought the summer tires from them, they said it would be free to switch them. They charged me $60. When I picked up the car I had 2 different sized tires on my car and 4 different brands only one was the original that I brought in. When I brought the car back the manager tried to blame it on me. That I some how mixed up the tires at home. I only have one sedan and one set of summer tires. They replaced the 2 that were different sizes for the right size, but did so with old worn out and weather cracked tires. My original tires were still under warranty. They should have just admitted their mistake and warrantied them. Sadly I didnt have time to take care of it because I was moving.Car #2 SUVI ordered new tires online and paid them to put them on, no problems there. I also had them do an alignment. They tried to sell me a custom camber kit ($300) telling me I needed it. Even though the alignment is within spec. I asked them to look at a squeaking brake. When I picked up the car they said nothing so I assumed it was fixed. Nope still squeaks. I doubt they even looked at it.Poor customer service. Poor mechanical service. If you go here keep track of your stuff, look everything over before leaving and know what your car really needs and what it doesnt.

We were having brake issues, and just happened to make it to Les Schwab. They originally told us it would take 30 minutes just to look at our car. We walked around and in about 20 minutes, we got a call saying they had found the issue and it was ready. When we picked up the car, they didnt even charge us as all they had to do was remove a small rock that had lodged itself in a place it wasnt supposed to be. Obviously not everyones brake problems will be that easy to fix, but the person we dealt with was friendly, they finished faster than we were expecting, and you cant get much better than free of charge! I needed my cars shocks and struts replaced with little notice and these guys went out of their way to hunt down the needed parts to fill me order on time. Very happy with their quality service and timely work!

I used to work here between 2001 and 2004. I just went back to visit now 15 years later. The same management team is here and theyre great! I trust all of the people working here with any of my vehicles. Theyre fast, and the quality of work is second to none.

I was about to leave for a trip, and my tire pressure light came on. I went to Les Schwab to see if they could take a look at it. I was in and out within 20 minutes, and they didnt charge me anything! I was very impressed, and able to get on the road very quickly.

Went in to have my breaks checked. The employee that checked my brakes said that I needed new rotors. He told me that they needed to replaced right now. My warranty on my car covers rotors and he told me that no warranty would do that. I showed him proof that my warranty would cover them and he didnt know what to say. I took my car to another shop and they said the rotors were in great shape and all I needed was new brake pads for my front brakes. Dont be deceived by the free brake check. They just want your money. Go to the ProShop and theyll check whatever you want for free.

They are always very helpful and fast at what they do. I have never had anything less than an exceptional experience here.

Took longer waiting than I suspected but they were pretty busy.

I had my car realigned and the shocks all done back at home in Washington. Then drove it out here for school. The following day my car seemed off. I am no expert with cars so I talked it over with my Dad who is an expert mechanic, and from what I had told him he told me to go take it in to Les Schwab to make sure the alignment hadnt been miss aligned when driving out here. I went in this morning expecting kind service and what I got was a lady talking condescendingly to me about whether or not it was the cars alignment. I mainly just wanted to have the car checked to make sure everything was okay. You would think the employees here would know better customer service. Especially since this is a great company my family and I to go to. But what happened today was just stupid. I definitely recommend that if take your car to a Les Schwab go to the one in Idaho Falls maybe their service and professionalism is a lot better there.

I have had 2 experiences with this Les Schwaab since I moved here. I have had experiences with other locations and not been super impressed, but this location is outstanding. My first experience is when my tire blew out on the Archer Highway. I called them to ask a question and they offered to send someone to help me change my tire. They sometimes even have spares on hand (I had one already) I had them fix it and they replaced my tire with a used one for $26. I couldnt have even gotten road side service for that much and I would have waited a while (in my experience)The second time was when I brought a vehicle in to them to have them fix or replace it. They fixed it. We went to pay and they didnt charge for the fix. They said just come back when you need new tires I definitely will! I expected to pay for at least their time and the supplies to fix the tire. This location is outstanding.

I was getting new rims and tires for my Jeep, and they went above and beyond while working with me. We were unable to find an exact match to what I was trying to get, but they managed to find something close enough at an awesome price.

They were amazing. I came in about 45 minutes to close and has a leak in my tire. They quickly got me in and out in the same day. They truly helped me out when I really needed it. I will definitely go back to them for new tires and for any other tire problems I have in the future.

Needed wheels and bearings checked on boat trailer for long trip out of state. One of the guys checked it out and packed the bearings for us but we had trouble with it before leaving town. Talked to Mike the manager and he was great! Took care of everything for us and got us back on the road asap. Great guy and great place to get outstanding service.

Took my car in here at 12:15 and it is 4 and they JUST started working on it. I asked them if it would be done by 3 when I got out of class and they said, yes it will only talk and hour and a half. When I walked back over to get my car. At 3:20 it was sitting in the bay and HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED! make a note that when I arrived at 12:15 there was no one in front of me!!!!! Very frustrated. This is my third time going there for the same problem that they claim to have fixed each time! I am very frustrated that they wasted 3 hours with my car. I wont ever go here again.Update: it is now 5:53 and they are still working on it. FYI, this place closes at 6

I went in to Les Schwab with a flat tire. The man working on my tire was very matter of fact with me that the tire could no longer be used and that I could not drive on my spare. He was able to explain to me clearly what was going on with my car and what my best and cheapest options were for getting a new tire (they had a lightly used tire on hand that I was able to buy for a very reasonable price). They were matter of fact, friendly, helpful, and completed the job in a very timely manner. I was able to just go in and have them fix it right then without having to call ahead or anything. I had been having tire problems before and had been taking my car to another place in town but their advise was what led to the flat. I will definitely be trusting Les Schwab with all my future tire needs. The lady at the front desk is not very personable and very hurried, but I can handle that.

I cant express my level gratitude to these guys. I had a flat tire that popped while i was driving on the highway. They were kind, repaired it quickly, re-mounted my spare tire to the bottom of my truck, then didnt charge me for the repair even though i was more than happy to pay for it. I dont think there are many shops out there that work with this level of kindness. I would highly recommend!
