Reno Tahoe Auto Group has the most amazing staff. We had been test driving and negotiating all day for a new truck. Mind you we had been researching and we knew exactly what we wanted. We spent almost awhile day at one dealership we were very interested in one Truck. Long story short we couldnt make a deal. We decided to go home and go look again on Monday. We happen to drive by reno Tahoe auto group that had one truck we had been looking at online so we just wanted to stop and take a quick look. We meet with Cam and he pulled it out for us together a good look. My husband had that love at first site be for we knew it. Cam went to Roberto the sales manager next thing we were taking photos with our new truck. The first place said we didnt qualify for the truck we were interested thats why they offered us the older trucks. Well we now have a truck 5 yrs newer and $15,000 less mileage than the other dealer. I came to get the Mazda Speed 3 they had here and was really excited to complete the process and take it home but unfortunately something came up and I couldn’t go through with it. For the most part it was really quick and easy. A select number of staff were polite and helpful especially Michael, I would highly recommend asking for him because I had a good experience(even though I didn’t get it) thanks to him. I rated only 3 due to the manager being a bit rude before and after I mentioned I couldn’t get the car. Long story short they provide a smooth process here but the staff you interact with can make or break the experience.

Definitely the best dealership experience Ive had buying a car! Great website so you can do all your research on their inventory beforehand. Then they picked me up from my apartment as I knew which car I wanted to drive away in (thank Trais!). Both Trais and Skeeter were super helpful in talking about little details around the car I wanted but also a few alternatives. Then I got to test drive them. Once I had made my decision, it was paperwork time and we got that done fast! The business office really worked with me on my down payment and payment options, plus I was able to get an additional warranty and GAP insurance. The absolute WORST car company you will ever deal with. You guys sold a 25 year old a $42k truck that is considered a lemon! Now $42,000 is on my credit report and the truck barley even works! It had to get a new transmission, several other things, oh on top of it new breaks which cost me out of pocket another $1500. I will slander your name everywhere to make sure anyone I know doesnt come here. On top of all of that you let my boyfriend who isnt even on the title, absolutely nothing, make his own decisions with you guys and you guys dont even update me letting me know that. Youre lucky I dont sue you.

I just had to come here and write a review about my experience at Reno Tahoe Auto Group, but mostly with the salesperson named Joey. My mother was buying a new car and she can be very...detail oriented. She found exactly what she was looking for while working with Joey, but she wanted to take her time before actually making the purchase. Joey was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process of working with my mother and myself. He never made her feel rushed and he seemed to have all the patience in the world. He was legitimately excited to see us each day we came back and he was eager to make sure that we had all our needs met. Overall my mother has been happy with her car purchase, but what it really came down to was our awesome salesperson. Ask for Joey!!

I purchased my car online and over the phone. I had no issues at all. I was well informed by the hole staff. Was really painless. When I arrived to pick up my car I was met at the car rental by the staff to took me to the dealership. Nothing but Professional . The Car was everything I was expecting and then Some. Thanks to all especially Jamie who went the extra mile.

No question the RTA carries nice cars. Went to test drive a 10 year old car with 70000 miles. Was a real nice car, drove nice. But the money was too high for the book. Sales manager came out and explained that they dont use KBB, they use CarFax because you get the service records and everything reported on the car. True story, BUT!!! The CarFax showed no accidents when there was clearly an accident that had not been reported. How does this lie make the value of the car higher than KBB? Dont be fooled. CarFax only reports what is reported to them. To add insult to injury, the sales manager wanted to use KBB to book our trade in which of course is a much lower estimate. DOUBLE STANDARDS ABOUND!!! Salesman was great, Sales Manager is no more than a used car dealer. Look, no question they carry nice cars, but get a sales manager who has just a little heart.

I want to write a different review. Im writing this so the owner gets unbiased visibility.Here are the facts:My family and I drove down to purchase an SUV. We had 40k cash in hand. Looking for a cheap durable SUV for 4x a year Baja trip (rough roads with lots to pack).The vehicle posting online was wrong. They mixed up two different blue SUV in the same post. No big deal...The SUV wasnt detailed. Layers of brown muck all over the leather. Seatbelts were pink & blue and sticky. Rear view mirror was covered in spit spots. Mudd was caked around the inside of all doors. Also, no big deal because they could clean this up before the final sale.The SUV roof top glass was nearly all gone to the point that the peel extended to the trunk and the hood. Also not a big deal. They could sand it down, repaint and reseal. We are using this new SUV for utility purposes so it didnt need to be perfect. We have other daily drivers, other business cars for our clients to ride in collectors mustangs and rivieras, restoration project bettles, Porches for racing in SCCA. We know what we want, are easy to work with and realistic about expectations.The SUV front window was cracked all the way across the glass. Also no big deal. They could replace it before final pick up.I brought my much nicer trim level and newer SUV with me for trade in value to compare this trade in price to the car max appraisal for straight sales. If it was higher, I would trade it in. If it was lower, I came prepared to pay cash. They were appraising the car for over an hour. Not a big deal until the next two days. Read below.We drove 40 minutes to see them. We left without Roberto giving us the confirmation that all the breaks above would be taken care of and without the trade in value of my current SUV. The communicated plan was for them to provide this Information as soon as possible while we continued to look at other SUVs. We made it very clear we wanted this SUV for the 3rd row and tan leather.We got a call 2 days later asking us to come back for another appraisal of our current SUV. When I called the manager Roberto to report yet another problem, reminding him I wanted the car, he responded by blaming me, telling me we are difficult and hard people to work with; and refused to give me even a range on the appraisal based on the VIN. When I reminded him his staff said they performed the appraisal he said he wasnt told anything about it. He did comment that he chewed out the service manager for the state of the car and I 100% believe him.... given how he mistreated me too. Good leaders dont mistreat teammates when they fail.More importantly, we came to buy this car and this business and its management literally FORCED us and our money away.Why on earth would I keep pursuing a broken, dirty and over priced SUV... when there are SO MANY just like it without issues, better cared for and a business with smarter staff. I wasnt even in rush to buy...I can take my time to find the right one and I didnt even need financing.Whoever the owner is.....theyre losing you EASY MONEY.

Absolutely horrible experience. Went in planning to make a deposit and leave with a car. They listed the price over 2K over the BlueBook of the car and reFUSED to budge on the price.They PROMISED me they would hold the car for me until the next day while I mulled over their offer.We spoke on the phone the next morning, where I agreed that I would make their deal. They told me to come in after work, and while I was at work, I received a short, curt text message saying Sorry, we sold it, you can still come in and look around if you want.I really was excited to buy a car with them, and their lack of personality and them completely selling the car after promising me that they could hold it while I had to work really really sucked to go through. I would not recommend their business.

You never pay 49 down and the price on the window goes up 3000 while your waiting for paperwork. Also they insisted another 1000 down after i put 2000. the deal was already made.

I purchased a car almost 6 months ago and first week check engine Like was on. Called in a few times left a message and go no response. Finally go it in after about a two months. Also found out the car was sold with open recalls one being the air bag as well.After getting the car in they said it was a sensor issue so replaced that and paid out of pocket for such because warranty apparently doesn’t cover it. So replaced said sensor and now check engine light is on again along with new issues like my adaptive lights not working.I’ve called and left messages and have yet to hear a response. I’ve had nothing but issue and trouble with the car from the week after purchase. The car has been in 2 twice already within 6 months this being the third if we take it back in.The initial sale of the vehicle was fine and went smooth. That part I have no complaints about.I’m extremely disappointed with this whole experience after.This being my only mode of transportation it has put me out of jobs and money from when they have it to work on it.Not only is it costing me money to have the car fixed because the warranty doesn’t seem to cover anything but I’m losing money from missing work.I will never recommend for anyone to go here for a purchase based after my experience with the sale

Purchased a vehicle fro RTAG. On our way home noticed a chip in the window. Immediately called the dealership when we returned home. No, nothing we can do. We had our mechanic check the vehicle out and found a huge issue. Went back to RTAG, again, nothing they can do. Mind you, the vehicle came with a 90 day warranty. Oh, that was a mistake. No, buying a vehicle from you was a mistake. Once they get their money they will do nothing to honor their word. Do not buy vehicle from Reno Tahoe Auto Group.
