These stores carry a wide variety of goods. Tools for every imaginable task. Prices are very competitive and some cant be beat. The quality of some are not the best however, for the price and if its a one time need I grap it and pass it on or put it up for resale online. If youre moving this is a great place for dollys, hand trucks and moving blankets at affordable prices. If you have some time on your hands this is a fun place to investigate.

The manager in there that lady with the long dark hair shes amazing shes very very knowledgeable she knows all the Isles who knows whats where she knows all about solar and you know rating panels and if you need something like shes the go-to man she knows everything a lot of the other people or inexperienced and whatnot but what can you do everybody cant be long-term employee theres a lot of turnover there Im sure but the manager is good I like her

Lots of lower priced tools and gadgets here but lots of empty spaces-hooks to have even more inventory. I wonder why the shortages of hand tools, could it be due to less imports?

I place two carts on rain check, was told they were coming in that same week. Nope. No offer to take my name or help me get them. Just told me to drive to Chico or order them online but the rain check price won’t apply🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t think this is good customer service. I shop there frequently and really have a hard time finding knowledgeable helpful staff.

When you need a specialized tool to just get a job done and not worry about longevity this is the place.

It can be a little tough to find what youre looking for at first, but the staff members actually HELP you in this joint! And, Ive been very satisfied and quite honestly surprised at the durability of some of the lower priced items Ive purchased such as reciprocating saws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc. And, when you just need to get your hands on some quality inexpensive tools to throw into that extra toolbox, theres no place like it. And heck, while youre there, pick up the extra toolbox as well. 👍

Havent been here in years saw they had a foot pedal I needed that I was going to use for my Shop-Vac with my miter saw I used all Milwaukee I wish I could remember the associates name but I approached them showed him a picture of the pedal that I saw they had in stock he kindly walked me over to the exact spot and handed it to me its sad that nowadays things like that never happened anymore they just point I dont know what aisle and tell you its there but I got some good service and he read my mind because I also was getting a new extension cord the main reason I stopped there was just for that pedal but I thought I might as well check their prices out and they were killer I cant believe I got a 10 gauge extension cord for the price I got it at as much as Im a brand horror I will say I am humbled and well be coming back again to check out some of their stuff let alone the awesome service was very impressed cant emphasize that enough

Overall good. They dont carry paint stripper and the scroll saw I wanted was more than I thought so Im gonna wait for another big sale. Also, all the register computers froze up during checkout so there was a good delay. However, staff handled it well and were polite and after about 5 mins. waiting they started working again. Got some other good deals though and I would recommend them!

Lots of choices at good, often low, prices.It is wise to be knowledgeable about the items you want before you go there. They are busy, and usually not enough staff to explain things for you like a big box store.Many customers are hands on workers, hobbyists, and/or DIY people, so they know what they are looking for.But wandering the isles, you see different things, and get inspiration for new projects, or ways to do the jobs you have.

Harbor Fr8 is 1 of my favs, I enjoy the service & Knowledge of their customer service members, I havent had a bad experience as of yet, and thats coming from a frequent members club customer!! 🙏✌

Good place for cheap tools I have a few things that have lasted for yrs. But you get what u pay for. My 8000 lbs Chicago winch has saved me plenty of times and Ive had my little cargo trailor for yrs too.

Employees were definitely not very helpful, nor did they have any clue on any of the merchandise in the store

Always got a deal on something. Get signed up to get the news flyer they send. Always some free items u can use during any purchase. Just dont get the batteries, theyre not good.

Im a long time customer I bought a $25 item it was defective I paid with my credit card but lost my receipt they would not exchange it without the original receipt. Every other store I go to can call up the information from your credit card but they cant they refused to help me so theyve lost my business.

Lots of merchandise, well stocked and sometimes the employees are friendly. The price for disposable gloves are ridiculous. Before Covid they were priced around $10 now the have them priced at $23. Wow.

Always find some things I need from Harbor Freight and USED to enjoy having a catalog sitting around on the coffee table.It USED TO BE the most looked at magazine on the table.Tired of the DAILY, or sometimes TWICE daily emails instead of the catalog.Quickly becoming the most annoying SPAM in my inbox.

People can say what ever they want about harbor freight but Ive always had good luck outtakes harbor freight tools. Great quality tool at a great price with great selection. Just wish they would stay economical and not try and keep up on prices with the other big names . Still better then others though

Horrible quality tools, at very reasonable prices. Nah, some things there are great deals. But you cant expect much for how cheap it is. I go there for all the cool little things they have there. Zip ties, big grey colored tarps, and thats about it. Oh and they have the best deal on Teflon tape anywhere, 5 rolls for $1!!!!!

Harbour freight is great! Anyone that has anything to say negative, just remember, everything in their store is returnable and the quality of most of their products is excellent. I would advise anyone to shop there first before going to any big brand stores for any tool related items.

Who doesnt love a bargain? Its not an Ace Hardware, but if you follow their monthly ads or the pages in many different magazines you can save a lot of money. I have had to return a couple of items and, with the receipt, they were as nice about it as they could be. Im sorry it took me so long to get into shopping here. Dont make the same mistake.

Good prices. Very scetchy quality so dont buy anything that you would need to use more than once. Some products do last longer though. Just be careful with your choices

Went in to buy a part check my ticket to the counter they said he didnt have it but yet they displaying it and he dont know when theyre going to have them again and they dont sell the displays and yet he wont take the advertisement off the floor and he was very rude about it I spend money in the store but I guess Im going to have to rethink where I spend my money now

My husband and I have always loved shopping at harbor freight in Redding but today my husband took his coupon that was only good for today, Memorial Day, May 27, 2019 for 25% off ANY SINGLE ITEM (thats what it says) so he was getting himself a heat gun. So when he got to the register they tell him that what he is getting is excluded so the coupon is no good. Then WHY does it say ANY single item. We could not even read the small print and WHY would you have ANY SINGLE ITEM written on the same coupon where its not good for half of your inventory. If you are going to exclude most all of your stuff then please make the small print a little larger so us older people can read it. He waited patiently....and thats hard for my husband when he is buying tools....for today just so he could save a little money. So you bait people with the wording on your coupon and then when they get there and are told its excluded they end up buying it any ways since they are there. Thats shady to us and we do not like shopping at places that are shady. Here is a picture of your deceiving coupon.

You can find just about anything you need for tools, tarps, and such at Harbor Freight. Be aware that the parking lot is often full, and access into and out of the lot can take some patience. The tool quality will get you through most basic tasks, but for higher quality tools that last longer you might be better off spending more at Ace Hardware or the larger box hardware stores.

Store policy is face masks required for entry and service. Signs on door say the same thing. Four people inside shopping and getting service with out masks. That is unacceptable ! They have no respect for the safety of others and you enable them. I will shop else where. This store is in Red Bluff Ca
