This was my home base for cafes for a long time. so happy for the new management and it’s such a beautiful, creative space. the toast is incredible for avocado or even just butter. coffee is obviously on point.

This was some of the worst coffee I have ever tasted. My mom can drink coffee that is 3 days old still in the pot and double brewed and she dumped this coffee out. I had avocado toast and it was abundant with salt, but not a whole lot of other flavors. Wouldnt recommend this at all.

My favorite thing to do when writing reviews is look at others reviews; the only negative reviews of this place seem to 1) Be things that are out of the control of the establishment like rap music, and not offering delivery. or 2) complaining about the price of artisan coffee in 2021—if you want a bad $1 cup of coffee you can go somewhere else.The coffee here is good, the service is good, and its pretty and such. Theres not much more to say. Easily one of the only tolerable coffee shops in Redding. Offers an array of drinks, and importantly, alternative milks.

I would recommend including ALL the ingredients when writing them on a menu. I bought a protein bowl that did not say it had cabbage in it. Im allergic to cabbage. $11 wasted

Dang it… this place is tasty and nice and clean and up to date. The reason I say dang it is this- it’s my second time coming in trying something new and they have yummy looking baked goods on the counter to the right in a glass box.. great yay! :). Well there was a huge fly in the box, that’s okay just get it out throw your baked goods away and put new baked goods.. I told the short haired blonde cashier/ barista and she said “oh great, thanks”. And opens the box and gets the fly out and then Customers come up and order some baked goods and she gives them Baked goods that had a fly on it!! I tried to call but there is no number and everyone looked busy. So .. there you go.. watch out for the baked goods on the counter I guess. Aside from that everything has been delicious 🤤

Friendly staff and quick service! The coffee is delicious! Quite a small menu but they offer some unique options like chicory coffee! The setting is quite cute. Hipsters paradise... unique coffee and beards as far as the eye can see.

Great drinks and food, but we were disappointed when we were served our food and drinks, especially the double espresso, in to-go cups and plastic food containers. Didnt know we needed to specify that we were eating there. Usually its assumed you are unless you ask for it to go (in most places). Lesson learned. At least we know how to order for next time.

A great little coffee shop to hangout with friends or get homework done in downtown Redding! They have good coffee. There is a lot of natural light inside which is really nice.

Really good coffee and great waffles. The only reason why I wouldn’t give it a 5 star is because the baristas are not very friendly. They do a great job making coffee but the customer service doesn’t seem to be a priority. Not a whole lot of smiling going on! Other than that, great spot.

Coffee bar definitely has some or the best coffee in town. Its a much quieter place that the locals go to. It feels like a comfy neighborhood coffee shop from Socal. It definitely makes me miss home

Perfect cappuccino in a perfect cup. On par with the best in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle. Friendly and low-key roaster on site. Try the avocado toast and waffles. Don’t try the protein bowl. Way to go owners on the remodel - excellent job.

Stunning shop. Delicious in house roasted coffee. The staff was cool. Music was a vibe. The owners are a vibe. The place is a vibe. Try the drip coffee. They had Guatemala on drip and it was superb I had no problem throwing 3 back. ;)

I’m quiet a regular due to convenience, but i avoid when for leisure - Whilst the Latte is Good 3/4 of the time. The Decor clean, bright and aesthetically pleasing. The ambience/mood and vibe along with the customer service is not. As soon as you enter; being sensitive to the atmosphere - I can immediately feel the snobbishness from the customers that are attracted to the place, nose up kind of vibe... 50% of my experience with the staff have been the same way. Shockingly, my one time encounter with the owner all in Black has been the same too.Being no foreigner to high-end establishments which serve excellence, whilst still being down to earth and humble. I detest atmospheres and vibes especially from the host, which are better than thou. I look forward to hopefully seeing what is generally a lovely coffee shop in Redding become truly great by seeing its culture improve in being more warm and inviting!

Very hipster. Menu board so low key, it looks like you have very few choices. I ordered a decaf Americano. Sign said Americano 3..5, but they charged $4. ??? The vibe is, we are so cool, youre lucky to be here. Not cold, but pleasant indifference. Millennials. European minimalism decor. Again, very sterile, unwelcoming in a happy way. The coffee was okay. Here I am mirroring my experience, passionless acknowledgement.

Ive always enjoyed my visits here every time I come through Redding since 2013! Great atmosphere, I always enjoy the company of those working behind the bar when I visit alone or when I go meet friends there. All profits are donated to charity. They do not have a variety of sizes to choose from but the coffee is great and they have limited lite meal options to chose from. Kind of small but just enough. They have parking behind the building but I always find it easier to park in the street as there are plenty of places in the immediate area. Id describe the inside as clean and well kept, they do have industrial lighting pieces that Im fond of and they love motorcycles. Kind of a hipster feel. The photos posted with this, Ive taken as far back as May 2013. Where it looks like Im sitting, it used to be a lounge area but theyve now put a roaster back there.

I love cold brew coffee and I was excited to try one here. Saw on the menu that they served sweet cold brew. Cold brew, simple syrup, chicory and half and half. It was so good. Fair pricing, clean, very nice and knowledgeable staff. I also read that some of their profits go to charity. 5/5 would go again.

Clean and bright even during renovations. The owners have some awesome and big plans for this place. The coffees are perfect and the service is excellent. Try the yogurt with fruit and granola! Best Ive ever had!

Great coffee and sourdough toast!

So happy we found this cute coffee shop passing through Redding. Its worth the detour off the freeway. Tried the thick-sliced sourdough toast with house-made almond butter, local raw honey, & cinnamon. Holy smokes it was good. The perfect flavors mixed together with gooey almond butter running off. We also tried the protein bowl. We got it to-go and it came in a small compostable cup and at first I was disappointed since it was $11, but as soon as I took a bite, realized it was worth every penny. The soft-boiled egg with the avocado mixture and veggies and prosciutto was amazing. The baristas at the counter were very kind and friendly as well. People were sitting down inside, but some tables had Xs taped over them. My americano was also fantastic and smooth!

This place was dope! We were driving back along the I5 and stopped in Redding for the evening, were super excited to find this baller coffee shop in town and greatly recommend it! Such nice staff, great music, and fantastic treats. Plus the coffee was killer!

This is a great coffee shop if you truly love coffee. They dont make many of the sugar oriented blended coffee/milkshakes that are popular at many coffee shops. They roast their own coffee in in-house and make delicious cappuccinos, lattes, and all the classics.They also function as a nonprofit, so supporting this local business also supports charity... Innovations housing I believe.

Just listened to the whole uncensored Kanye West album next to a 3 year old kid in Evergreen coffee shop. I personally believe management needs to understand Uncensored music influences the minds of our youth. I asked 2 employees to change it to censored with the child present but I was denied that request saying that I would need 5 people to vote against listening to music about degrading women and cussing, because they want the hip hop vibe. I don’t recommend this place.

If you like coffee for coffee sakes--not syrupy flavors or ice cream frappes--this is one of the few places where you will get it. The espresso is not over roasted and each drink is individually prepared--or crafted might be a better description. If you want some giant sized beverage to last you several hours, go somewhere else. If you want a quality over quantity, try Coffee Bar.

Love their coffee. It gets busy on the weekends but luckily I work downtown and can sneak by for a quick americano. They have good avocado toast as well! A must try.

Cant believe how good their breakfast waffle and prosciutto toast tasted! Their menu selection is very simple, but you can tell that every ingredient is unique, taste and of good quality. Roasting equipment is nicely displayed. No WiFi available.

I was surprised to find a place like this in Redding. I would give the coffee 4 stars but threw an extra in there because I noticed they provide organic Clover half and half (not ultra pasteurized, if that matters to you). It is rare to find a coffee shop that serves organic half and half. Good coffee, organic half and half, neat atmosphere (motorcycles!) = awesome coffee shop.

Definitely in the top 5 things I miss about living in Redding. I’ve been to coffee shops all the around America AND the world and this is hands down some of the best coffee. They would get it right almost every single time... and I went here A LOT.

The service was friendly enough, but as of April 2019 a 12-oz mocha will set you back almost $6. Eye-watering prices, considering this is Redding, California. Loud hipster bump and grind R&B playing, combined with no insulation made the conversation difficult. Very much targeting the Redding college kids who are dreaming theyre in LA or San Francisco. I wish this business the best of luck, but with those prices I certainly couldnt justify going there very often.

My wife and I dropped in the Coffee Bar and had a great cup of coffee. Jason and staff were very knowledgeable about their coffee. I really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend stopping by for a cup.

Another coffee shop in Redding that feels like youre not in Redding. Foreign accents, young hipsters, clean cut looks. I can only assume a Bethel influence. Whatever the cause, I like it. Beyond the clientele, the place is well designed and decorated. The usual odds/ends for sale are unique and fresh. The most important thing, the coffee, is well balanced - strength, temperature, bitterness, etc. I like it. Now, if we could just convince an American coffee house to serve a latte in a proper glass, wed have a perfect spot. But alas, the earthen mug without a handle was a letdown.Overall, I will be back. For the coffee, and the people watching.

This review is long overdue, but our experience at Evergreen was absolutely lovely. My partner and I had broken down while driving through Redding and walked to Evergreen while waiting for our rig to be done in the shop. We hung out here for a few hours, drinking an espresso/filter drip/one & one (all quite tasty), we chatted with the baristas and roaster about their coffee, and left feeling like the staff was real cool to us. We enjoyed every part of our visit here, from the decor to the folks to the coffee to the merch. They were so compassionate towards us in the midst of our unplanned detour into Redding, and made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcome in the (beautiful and tastefully decorated) space.

Love coffee. But a diabetic consigned to decaf. Americano from decaf espresso works, but a bit limiting, given the absence of sugar-free options.

My experience here this morning was great. I went there for morning coffee with a bunch of great friends

My wife and I have 3 small children, love coffee and travel a lot. We had passed the Coffee Bar quite a few times during our time in Redding and finally decided to park and check it out. The moment we stepped in we were not recognized or welcomed in any way. We stood at the bar waiting to be recognized and order. The two gentlemen were too busy talking about their own lives to serve us. We then decided we would go to the restroom with our children, giving the two guys the benefit of the doubt. Ive worked customer service a ton and value good service. And I always try to give second chances. We went to the bathroom and it was out of paper towels (it was mid-morning) and it was out of soap. At that point we were wondering if this coffee shop was JUST about coffee and not anything else. It had a cool looking decor but that was about it. We then went around the corner to be served again. We stared at the menu and were still not acknowledged. I then stepped up to the counter to really test the boundaries and still, neither of the two guys gave me even the slightest attention. They were facing in my direction still talking about their lives, doing nothing work related. We then decided to leave and were greatly disappointed. Im sure this place has great coffee but I would much rather choose Starbucks over this place. And that is saying something. I recommend places a lot from the different places of traveled but not only will I not recommend this place but will actually bring it up to let others know NOT to go there. I like good coffee a lot. But not at the expense of horrible service. Coffee Bar, after being in customer service for 15 years, my advice to you is, serve more than just coffee. Serve your customers.

Incredible handcrafted espresso from amazing baristas. The cold brew is delicious, must try. They do their own roasting and the attention to detail and quality are by far the best in Redding. Reminds me of some of the best coffee shops in Seattle and Portland.

In my opinion this is Redding’s best coffee shop. The shop has a bright and welcoming atmosphere and always have a great music playing. I never end up wearing headphones when I work here because it’s so quality.Their drip coffee is always top notch, their baristas make a mean oat milk latte, and the BTTRCRM treats are not to be missed. Make sure to grab a bag of Feast coffee for your home brews- it might very well be the best roaster in all of California.Their food menu is also 👌🏻- the avocado toast with poached egg and the protein bowl is the perfect meal for your coffee date or heads down work session.If you’re from out of town you should check out the boutique hotel offerings- it’ll make your stay in Redding a trip to remember!

Great espresso, extensive list of incredible drinks. I was actually asked if I wanted full extraction when I ordered a cappuccino. I recommend trying the café tonic in the summer.

I own a coffee shop in Denver and I stopped by for morning coffee and breakfast. The baristas were well-trained, the coffee was roasted well (read: not dark, but rather lightly to to feature its natural characteristics), the food was lovely, and the prices were fairly cheap. Id say if you pay less for coffee elsewhere you should wonder what the farmer is making. Hmm.

Good coffee. Good spot. Probably, the only people that know how to make a real latte or flat white in these parts. Order with impunity.

The coffee was good, not bitter and pretty bright. However, not comparable to blue bottle or intelligentsia but it certainly exceeded their prices. $6.44 in total for a Latte (decaf/oat). For small town Redding a suprise, if you thought Venice Beach or San Francisco was expensive. (Blue Bottle charges $5 for a Latte (Decaf/Oat)). I didnt see any pastries but one guy got a big waffel with almond butter which apparently was $9.

This is a mystery, perhaps Reddings greatest mystery.Where do all these hipsters come from? They are never anywhere else in the Redding. Is there some sort of Vanishing Cabinet hidden in the back that deposits them here and then they slink back to Portland?Well never know.Coffee is alright. The toast looks awesome.

I have a friend who works here and I know she loves her job and has regulars that come in all the time - thats no surprise to me because the service and the coffee are both very good here. The atmosphere is good too. I dont go here regularly for only one reason, its very hard to do computer work of any kind here. I cant remember if thats because they dont have wifi or if they dont have power outlets, or both... but I think its because they dont have wifi... thats just a killer.
